November 30, 2008New Beginnings ch. 11
I’m not going to be able to update on Monday with school being back in session and all, so I’m doing a reallllly quick post now since I wont be able to post again until Tuesday. Haha
Zac and Hannah entered the tour bus to be met with complete chaos. Hayley was typing away at her computer furiously, their tour manager was yelling into his phone, demanding something about a retraction, and Josh was on his phone with his parents. “Mom, it’s fine.” Josh was saying. “What’s going on?” Zac asked. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Taylor asked when he heard Zac. “Tell you what?” Zac asked. Hayley bit her lip and turned her laptop to face Zac. “Read the comments first.” She advised. Zac recognized the page as the Paramoremusic livejournal community. The entry Hayley was looking at was titled ‘WTF RU SRS?!?’ Zac furrowed his eyebrows as he saw a link in the body of the entry followed by the text “this is ridiculous. Who would print that?!” There were already hundreds of comments below the post. “He’s a teenager! Come on people! Of course it’s gonna happen.” one comment said. “talk about invasion of privacy!” “I feel so bad for him!” “just because he possibly did that doesn’t mean he’s not a Christian.” Zac got more and more worried as he read through the comments, hoping they weren’t talking about what he thought they were talking about. “Let me see the article.” He said quietly. Hayley sighed before clicking the link. “Zac Farro: Perfect Little Christian?” popped up on the screen. “Fuck!” Zac yelled. A picture of he and Hannah kissing at the previous day’s venue loaded on the screen. He glanced at the article following the picture and scowled. A reporter had been at the venue while Hannah had pulled Zac aside to talk. The reporter stated that she hadn’t stayed for more than 5 minutes, meaning she had left before anything had happened, but she was ‘very certain that the two had sexual relations’ and continued to say that this incident made Paramore look bad as they were ‘supposed to be Christian’. Zac began to panic. How could he have been so stupid? He glanced at Hannah; she looked absolutely horrified. “I’m so sorry!” He said instantly. She shook her head. “It’s not your fault.” She sighed. “Shit…” She whispered. “You can’t prove anything!” The tour manager shouted into the phone. “If you don’t print a retraction, we’ll sue.” He waited a few seconds. “Oh, I can think of plenty! Defamation, invasion of privacy, false light, and that’s just the beginning!” He argued. Zac turned to Josh and tuned in to his conversation. “Listen, I talked with him, asked if he had any questions or anything.” Josh said into his phone. “Uh… well… I – uh.” He stuttered. “Look, Hayley and I have been dating for nearly three years now. So yeah, I was able to offer him advice.” Zac shook his head. Great, now Josh would get in trouble for being with Hayley. “Thanks dad.” Josh mumbled quietly. Zac sighed in relief, his dad had always been very understanding, he’d calm their mom down, no problem. “Yeah, hang on he just walked in.” Josh said, turning to Zac “Zac, mom wants to talk to you.” Josh said, smiling apologetically. Zac’s eyes went wide. He took the phone from Josh and cleared his throat. “Uh… hi?” He said uncertainly into the receiver. “Zac! How could you?!” His mother lectured. “Mom please…” Zac sighed. “I already feel bad enough.” “Oh, so it is true?” She asked. “Mom…” Zac repeated. “That poor girl!” She sighed. “This is going to get so much press.” “Honey, calm down.” Zac’s dad budded in. “What’s done is done.” He continued. “I’m not saying it was a good thing to do, especially in the middle of a public arena!” He raised his voice at his son a bit. “But we have to be supportive.” “Can I ask why?” His mom asked. Zac cringed. He really didn’t want to talk to his parents about this. “Well…” He began, “I love her. A lot. And, I dunno, it just felt right…” He said quietly. He could swear his mom was smiling, at least a little, on the other end of the phone line. “Well, please refrain yourself next time.” She said sternly. “I thought you had more self control than that.” “Don’t worry, I don’t think anything’s gonna happen for a good long time.” Zac assured. “You used protection right?” His dad cut in. Zac flushed bright red. This was incredibly awkward. “Of course, I’m not completely stupid.” He answered. He heard a small sniffle from his mom. “My babies are growing up.” She cried. “Both of them…” She paused. “Both of them are men now…” Zac winced remembering he had inadvertently forced Josh to reveal his and Hayley’s secret to his parents because of this. Hopefully Josh wasn’t too angry with him about it. “Mom please.” Zac sighed again. “I can’t believe you did that.” She whispered. “Look, I’m sorry!” Zac said, getting frustrated. “But what’s done is done.” “Zac!” His dad said sternly as Zac’s voice got louder and harsher. “No! Let me talk.” Zac said angrily. “I can’t take it back. And even if I could, in all honesty, I don’t think I would. I love her. That should be the only thing that matters.” “Zachary! You need to calm down.” His dad warned. Zac sighed. “I’m sorry.” He said quietly. “I’m just angry with myself for not being more careful.” “I’m sorry baby.” His mom soothed. “When I said I couldn’t believe you’d done that, I just meant…you’re growing up so fast, and I’m missing it while you’re on tour. I guess I just wasn’t ready to hear that either of my boys had…done that. Heck, Nathan’s actually married and I’m still not ready to hear he’s done that.” “I wasn’t ready for you to hear that either.” Zac mumbled quietly. His mom laughed a bit. “Honey, you can always tell your father and I anything.” She insisted. Zac rolled his eyes. Like that would ever happen. “I'm sorry… about…you know.” Zac whispered. He felt awful, more because of the fact that he had publicly embarrassed Hannah than anything else. His mom sighed. “Let’s just get this fixed.” “Will’s working on it.” Zac said, looking to their tour manager, he seemed to finally be getting his way. “Can I go now?” He asked. “Oh I suppose. But you aren’t in the clear yet Zachary Wayne.” His mom warned. “I know.” Zac said quietly. “We’ll talk about this when you get home.” His dad added. “Yeah…” Zac sighed. Great, now he really had something to look forward to when he got home. He said his goodbyes and turned to face Hannah. She was sitting on the couch talking with her parents. “You have got to be kidding!” She said into the phone. “No! He did not force me to do anything! If anything I forced him.” Zac bit back a laugh and shook his head. “Alright. Love you too.” She said. “Bye.” She snapped her phone shut. “You in trouble?” Zac asked. “A little.” Hannah replied. “But I’m not worried about it.” He sat down next to her. “I’m so sorry.” He said. “Don’t be.” Hannah smiled. “If we could go back in time, I wouldn’t have changed anything.” She added with a whisper, gently scratching the back of his neck soothingly. Zac cleared his throat as the feeling sent shivers down his spine. “Boys.” Hannah rolled her eyes. “That was supposed to be comforting, not sexual.” Zac and Hayley laughed. “Alright, they’ve removed the story.” Will said triumphantly after hanging up his phone. “And, after some convincing, they’re going to publish a retraction.” He added. “Thank you Will.” Zac said quietly. “No problem buddy.” Will smiled. “Seriously, thank you.” Zac repeated. “You rock.” Will shrugged. “Just doing my job.” He said with a smile before bounding down the stairs and off the bus. As calm returned to the Paramore bus, everyone went their separate ways. Taylor, and Jeremy went to the back of the bus while Hayley and Hannah stepped off to talk, leaving Zac and Josh alone. “Sorry mom and dad found out about you and Hayley.” Zac said quickly. “Eh don’t worry about it.” Josh shrugged. “I think dad knew already.” Zac laughed, remembering the night Josh came home two hours after curfew grinning like a mad man. “When I got home that night after the first time, dad was waiting for me.” Josh explained. “He took one look at me and said ‘your lucky your mother’s not awake to see you right now.’ Then he told me to get to bed before she woke up.” Josh laughed. Zac smiled weakly. “Hey, don’t worry about it.” Josh said, putting his hand on Zac’s shoulder. “The reporter can’t prove anything happened, so as far as the public is concerned, nothing happened but kissing.” Zac nodded. He couldn’t believe how much his world could change in a short 24 hours. Comments/buzz = love. hehe Thank you to everyone who commented on the last chapter! It always makes me feel special. haha. wow I sound ridiculous. OHHH! Before I forget, Britney Spears fans playing dirty in the Fuse Best of '08 thing. They’re voting for Chris Brown then changing the date on their computers and voting for him over and over again so they wont have any competition in the final round from Paramore. SO GO VOTE!!! http://fuse.tv/music/best-of-2008/ They’re winning right now but it wont stay that way long. haha. I guess I don't really care if they lose, but it would be kinda cool if they won. :)

November 29, 2008New Beginnings ch. 10
I don't know if I'll get a chance to update tomorrow, so double update today. :)
Enjoy. Hannah sat at the lighting and sound control area as the band finished sound check. Watching Zac play drums was one of her favorite pastimes. He always got so into it, it enthralled her to watch. The more she thought about it, the more she thought she was in love. She was always happy when he was around and he was always the first person she went to when something happened. He was always there for her. As everyone shuffled around the venue, preparing to leave and have a small break, Hannah walked over to Zac. “Hey.” She said quietly. Zac smiled, he was slightly sweaty from playing but that somehow made him look even better. “Can I talk to you a sec?” She asked. “Sure.” Zac said, wiping his forehead. She took his hand and led him to a corner of the venue. “What’s up?” He asked. She stood on her toes and kissed him. Zac smiled and kissed back eagerly. “Hey lovebirds!” Taylor called. “We’re all going out to lunch, you wanna come?” “Not right now.” Zac replied. He could tell Hannah had more to say than just a simple kiss. “Might join you later though.” He added. Taylor nodded and followed Jeremy out the door. When everyone had left, Zac turned back to Hannah. “What did you want to talk about?” He asked, pushing a strand of hair out of her face gently. “Um…” Hannah began nervously. “I guess I’ve been thinking lately.” Zac bit his lip and he looked at her worriedly. “Not bad thinking!” She said quickly. Zac sighed in relief. “I – I think I love you.” She said quietly. Zac stood in shock. He absolutely hadn’t expected that. How did she even know what love felt like? Hannah waited for a reply, but Zac couldn’t seem to find any words. She bit her lip and he saw her eyes begin to water. After a few more seconds of no attempt at a reply, she spun on her heel and hurried for the door. Zac felt his heart sink as he watched her walk away and he knew in that instant… “Hannah wait.” He called after her. She shut her eyes and took a deep breath, willing herself not to cry. “What?” She asked sourly. He jogged to catch up to her and spun her around, capturing her lips in a passion filled kiss. Hannah gasped, but instinctively kissed back. “I love you too.” Zac whispered as they broke for air. Hannah grinned and pulled him close. “I love you so much.” He said. “I’m sorry. I just forgot how to talk.” Hannah laughed, looked him in the eyes and kissed him lightly. “I love you.” She smiled. She couldn’t believe the words were coming out of her mouth. Zac placed his hand behind her neck and kissed her again. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and buried her head in his chest. He moaned and shut his eyes as he felt her light breath on his neck. “We’d better get out of here.” Zac whispered. “Like, right now.” “Why?” Hannah asked. “Because if we don’t, I can’t be held responsible for what I might do to you.” Zac explained with a laugh. “What if I don’t mind what you do to me?” Hannah asked. Zac’s eyes went wide. Hannah smirked and grabbed hold of his shirt, pulling him further in to the venue. Zac pushed her against the side of the stage. He ran his hands along her sides and kissed her slowly. There was no need to rush; he wanted to make the most of their time together. The slow pace heightened his senses, making every touch, every kiss, every nibble, feel a thousand times better. “I want you…” Hannah whispered. Zac bit his lip, forcing himself not to give in to his lustful feelings, but to instead, keep things slow. He knew it would be more meaningful in the end if he could just take things slowly. ‘Slow, slow, slow…’ he repeated the mantra over and over in his head as if it would help. He placed his hands around her waist, kissing her deeply. His fingers slipped under the hem of her soft cotton shirt and he gradually began pulling it up, not breaking eye contact with her in case she thought things were going to far. She smiled and raised her hands above her head, allowing him to take the shirt off completely. Hannah smiled as she rested her head on Zac’s chest. She was completely in love. And not just any love, she was head over heels in love. The kind of love where you can’t see straight you’re so happy. Zac kissed the top of her head and absentmindedly traced patterns on her back with a smile. Slow had more than paid off. “That really was amazing.” Hannah said once more. She had lost count of how many times she had said those words in the past ten minutes. Zac laughed and nodded in agreement. “Sorry it wasn’t a more romantic setting.” He said, looking around the venue. “It was perfect.” Hannah smiled, kissing him quickly. She stood up and turned to face him. “Come on, time to get up.” She held out a hand for him. “The others will be wondering where we are by now.” Zac sighed and stood. As he brushed dust off the back of his shirt, they heard voices coming closer. Hannah’s eyes went wide. “Help!” She giggled, smoothing out her hair and straightening her clothes. “You look fine.” Zac laughed. He quickly ran his fingers through his own mussed up hair. They heard a moan and tried not to laugh as Hayley and Josh entered the large venue, kissing. Zac cleared his throat, causing Hayley to jump away from Josh in surprise. “Shit!” She said, holding her hand to her chest in fright. “You scared me.” Zac laughed. “What are you two up to?” Zac asked trying to hide a grin. “Uh, nothing.” Josh said quickly. “Just checking the venue out. You guys?” Hannah bit her lip to hide a smile and turned to face Zac. “Same.” Zac replied trying not to look at Hannah. “It’s huge.” He said looking around the venue. Hannah stifled a laugh and nodded in agreement. “It is.” She smiled, looking directly at Zac, raising an eyebrow suggestively. He blushed deeply and faked a cough to hide a grin. Hayley smiled broadly as she began to figure things out. “Ha!” Josh laughed. “Hey Zac.” “Yeah?” Zac replied. “Are you afraid of heights?” Josh asked, a stupid grin playing at his lips. “Um…no, not really.” Zac said, confused. “Well, your fly is.” Josh busted out laughing. Hayley rolled her eyes. Boys were so immature. Zac quickly spun around to zip the fly on his jeans. “Oh, uh, must have forgot to zip up last time I used the bathroom.” He lied quickly, turning back to face the group. “Hannah!” Hayley said quickly. “Let’s go out, I saw some really cool shops around here earlier today.” “I don’t really have any money.” Hannah replied. “Doesn’t matter.” Hayley said pulling at her arm. “Let’s go. We need…girl time.” She raised her eyebrows for emphasis. Hannah blushed and nodded her head. “Wait, what’s going on?” Josh asked, confused. “If you haven’t figured it out, you don’t deserve to know.” Hayley laughed. “What?” Josh asked. He looked to Zac for help. Zac cleared his throat and looked away. “Lets go!” Hayley said to Hannah. Hannah turned to Zac and kissed him. “I guess I’ll see you later.” She said. “Can I tell her?” She added with a whisper. “I think she already knows babe.” Zac laughed. Hannah grinned and kissed his cheek before following Hayley. “This is so exciting!” Hayley squealed as she and Hannah left the venue. “Would you care to explain what’s going on?” Josh asked, still thoroughly confused. Zac sighed, he didn’t want everyone to know, but Josh was his brother, and he told his brother everything. “Well Josh,” he began, placing an arm around his brother’s shoulder teasingly, “when a man and a woman love each other…” “Dude!” Josh’s eyes went wide and he smiled. Zac laughed. “Keep it quiet.” Zac said. Josh nodded in understanding. “Did you uh, need any… uh, advice or anything?” Josh asked awkwardly. His own experience was limited, but he felt like it was his duty as the older brother to offer guidance. “I think I’m good.” Zac replied. “Thanks though.” “Uh… how was it?” Josh asked, unsure if he really wanted to hear the answer, Zac was his little brother after all. “Excellent.” Zac grinned, blushing slightly. “Foosball?” Josh asked, changing the subject. Zac laughed, happy to talk about anything else. “Heck yeah!” He replied with a smile. He couldn’t seem to stop grinning; today was a very good day.

New Beginnings ch. 9
Kinda short. Sorry. The next one is longer... or at least more interesting ;)
Enjoy!! :D “Here we go again!” Hayley grinned as the Paramore tour bus roared to life and they began moving. “I missed this.” Josh said with a smile. “I call a top bunk!” Jeremy yelled, running to the bunk area to claim his territory. “I call middle!” Zac jumped up after him. “I’ll take whatever.” Hannah laughed as she watched Josh, Hayley and Taylor rush to the bunks as well. She ended up taking one of the bottom bunks, right below Hayley. She figured it was safest this way, she wasn’t used to such a small bed and she knew she would fall out of it on more than one occasion. This way, it was a shorter fall to the floor, less painful. “You could have taken the bunk below me.” Zac said as he and Hannah sat down to lunch. “And wake up under your smelly farts? No thanks.” She giggled. “Hey! I work hard on those!” He said proudly. “You’re sick.” Hannah laughed, knowing he was playing around. “I have to work hard on them if I want to beat Jimmy-Pimmy.” He said, nodding to Jeremy. “I am the master.” Jeremy bowed. “You haven’t smelled anything until you’ve smelled the almighty Schzimmy gas. In fact, I think I’ll have a bean burrito tonight so I can welcome you properly to our humble abode.” He opened his arms to show off the bus. “Ew!” Hannah squealed. “How have you possibly survived for the last five years?” She asked Hayley. “Nose plugs.” Hayley replied. “And you learn to ignore everything else.” Hannah laughed. “Poor Sarah.” Hannah said, shaking her head. Hayley laughed and nodded in agreement. “So, what is there to do on this bus?” Hannah asked, looking around. “Movies!” Taylor and Zac said together. Hannah raised her eyebrows in surprise at the paired response and laughed. “Alright then.” She said. “Well, I think I’m going to unpack a bit.” “I’ll come with you.” Zac said. “Don’t let him throw everything on the floor Hannah.” Josh warned. “That’s his idea of unpacking.” Hannah nodded and disappeared to the bunks with Zac. Hannah sighed. She was bored. Paramore was a week and a half into the tour and everyone had something to do but her. Zac and the rest of the band were always busy with press, sound check or shows while the crew was always busy with set-up or teardown. She had tried to see if she could help out with merch, but she ended up just being in the way most of the time. Aaron was slowly teaching her how to handle the large crowds and the inventory aspects though, so hopefully she would be of more use in the near future. The band had just finished that night’s set and was outside talking to fans. Hannah looked on from the bus window as girls surrounded her boyfriend and she frowned. She knew everyone loved him and just wanted to be near the great Zac Farro, but he didn’t seem to be doing much to keep the girls at bay. They were all over him, taking pictures, asking for autographs, asking questions, flirting… She scowled as she saw him look from side to side, as if he was making sure she was nowhere around to witness what was happening. She grabbed her pajamas and locked herself in the bathroom to change. Zac looked around, trying to find Hannah. There were so many girls surrounding him, trying to get close. This wasn’t really a new development, and normally he loved it, but now that he had a girlfriend it felt awkward and wrong. “Looking for Han?” Hayley asked, noticing Zac look around frantically. He nodded. “Bus.” She replied. “Oh.” Zac replied with a sigh. He couldn’t be saved. “Zac!” He heard a fan say. “Hm?” He turned back to the small crowd and continued his conversation. “Call me!” One girl said, shoving her number at him. “I have a girlfriend, sorry.” He said, smiling at the thought of Hannah. The girl frowned. “Oh! That’s so sweet! Do you love her?” Another fan asked. Wow, fans really did ask personal questions sometimes… “Alright. Sorry guys, we have to go.” Graham stepped in, shepherding the fans away. The band made a break for the bus, smiling and waiving along the way as fans snapped last minute photos. “Hey Hannah.” Zac smiled as he stepped onto the bus. She nodded a hello and climbed into her bunk. “Hey, what’s up with you?” He asked, wondering what he could possibly have done wrong. They usually sat and talked after shows, he had come to love their talks. The rest of the bus loved the talks too. Before the talks, Zac was a big ball of hyperactiveness after shows. There was something about Hannah that always seemed to calm him down and make him more manageable. “Tired.” Hannah replied shortly. She rolled onto her side so her back was facing him. “Oh.” He said quietly. “Well, see you tomorrow I guess.” He leaned in to kiss her but she turned away so his lips landed on her cheek. Zac frowned, but stood to leave. As soon as he wandered away, Hayley rushed over to Hannah’s bunk. “You know, Zac was freaking out while we were out there.” She said, talking to Hannah’s back. “He kept trying to find you so he could get the fans to back off a bit.” “Really?” Hannah asked, turning to face Hayley. Hayley nodded. “One girl even tried to give him her number but he said he had a girlfriend and refused to take it.” Hannah grinned but felt guilty. Of course Zac wouldn’t do that to her, he wouldn’t risk their relationship to have a little flirting time with a fan. “I’m an idiot.” She mumbled. “No, you’re not.” Hayley assured. “It kills me to see girls all over Josh too. But you learn to ignore it. You just have to know he would never do anything to hurt you.” Hannah nodded. “Thanks Hayley.” She smiled. Hayley smiled back and nodded. “Night Han!” She giggled before disappearing. About an hour later, a strange smell wafted into Hannah’s bunk. She coughed at the horridness of the scent and nearly split her sides in laughter as the entire bus broke out in yelling “Jeremy!” together. “And that, it’s the almighty power of Schzimmy gas.” Jeremy said proudly. “Welcome to the tour Hannah.” Ah! I wrote this chapter out in class and I was laughing SO hard. I must’ve looked like I was having a seizure or something because I couldn’t actually laugh out loud. hahahaha.

Some parts are better than others. Sorry for any grammar/spelling. I think I caught everything but I'm not positive. (I nearly had Hayley kissing Zac instead of Hannah kissing Zac at one point... oops!)
Enjoy! A few days later, the Farro’s were having a huge ‘it’s summertime, let’s celebrate’ barbeque. It seemed like the whole town of Franklin was squished into the Farro’s backyard. Zac looked around, he couldn’t be sure if Hannah had arrived yet or not, there were so many people. He felt a pinch on his butt and flipped around quickly with a yelp. “Hey!” He said angrily, ready to kill whoever had degraded him. “It’s only me!” Hannah said quickly, holding her hands in the air innocently. Zac grinned and shook his head. “I was about ready to hurt you.” Zac said. “I know! You’re scary when you’re angry.” Hannah laughed. Zac shrugged and wrapped an arm around her waist. “Hey guys!” Taylor said as he wandered over to the two. “What’s new?” “Dude, you need a haircut.” Zac laughed. Taylor’s afro was getting crazy long. “Oh no! Don’t cut it!” Hannah argued. “Your hair is so much fun. You should grow it long, you can have one of those hippy ponytails.” She laughed. Taylor grinned and bobbed his head up and down in a uniquely ‘Taylorish’ dance. His hair bounced around crazily as he bopped up and down. “Nope, not losing the hair.” He said, running his fingers through it. “Whatever T.” Zac shrugged. “I’m starving, anyone want a burger?” Hannah nodded and the three made their way to the grill. As the day wore on, the crowd began to thin and the volleyball net that had been set up became accessible. As soon as the boys realized there was now room to play, Josh ran to find the ball and declared a game of boys vs. girls volleyball. Hannah and Hayley mumbled and tried to get out of it, but Sarah wouldn’t have it. She was determined to play against, and beat, Jeremy. “I wanna play!” The youngest Farro, Isabelle, said as she jumped up and down eagerly. “Sure!” Hannah smiled. “I guess I’ll just sit out this round.” She shrugged. “Oh no you don’t.” Zac laughed. “Hey T! Volleyball.” He called over to the curly-headed guitarist. Taylor looked over and grinned, hurrying over to play. “There. All even now.” Zac smirked. Hannah sighed and walked back over to the girl’s side of the net. “Ok, Me, Josh, Jeremy and T against Hannah, Hayley, Sarah and Izzie.” Zac announced as everybody took their places. “You gals can serve first.” He said teasingly. Sarah grabbed the ball and served it over the net forcefully. She could be highly competitive when she wanted to be. “Yes!” She screamed as the ball slipped through Josh’s fingers and they scored a point. “Sweet!” Hayley grinned, high-fiving the brunette. They played on this way for a few minutes before the boys decided it was time to start upping their game. When Zac prepared to make his serve, he hit it as hard as he could over the net. “Got it!” Hannah called out, positioning herself under the ball. She backed up down the lawn as the ball flew further behind her. “Hannah!” Zac shouted warningly. But it was too late. Hannah paused, confused for a moment as to why the foot she was trying to place on the ground was touching nothing but air. She gasped suddenly as she fell backward and water engulfed her. She resurfaced seconds later, gasping for air. “Are you alright?” She heard Zac call as he ran over. She heard a few snickers and laughs from people surrounding the pool she had fallen into. “I'm fine.” She said once she figured out her surroundings. Zac held out a hand to pull her out and she grabbed hold. She pulled hard, sending him toppling into the water with her. She laughed as Zac resurfaced, looking beyond confused. “Nice!” Josh laughed from the poolside. “Good one Hannah.” Hannah curtsied the best she could in the water and shrieked as Zac pulled her underwater. While they were under, Zac pressed his lips to hers in a very wet kiss. “You jerk!” Hannah laughed as she panted for air. Zac flashed a winning smile at her. “If you two are going to continue swimming, I would appreciate bathing suits!” Mrs. Farro complained from the side of the pool. “We’re getting out.” Zac sighed. He led Hannah to the ladder on the side of the pool and helped her up. “Go get dry.” His mother insisted. “I look ridiculous.” Hannah complained from the bathroom. She had changed out of her wet clothes and was standing in a pair of Zac’s pajama pants and one of his band t-shirts. She tied the shirt in the back so it fit a bit more snugly and looked at her reflection. “You’ll look fine.” Zac said. “Come on, I need to use the bathroom.” He complained. Hannah rolled her eyes and pulled her wet hair into a messy ponytail. “All yours.” She said as she exited the bathroom. Zac raised his eyebrows. “Wow, you can make anything look sexy.” He said quietly. Hannah stood in shock. He instantly blushed as he realized what he had said. She broke out into a grin as she saw the red creep in over his cheeks but chose to ignore the comment. “Come on Farro, before you wet your pants.” She said, shoving him toward the bathroom. “Hannah sweetie, your clothes are dry.” Mrs. Farro said as she appeared in the basement with Hannah’s shorts and top. It was now well after dark and Hannah, Zac, Hayley and Josh were all watching movies downstairs. “Thank you.” Hannah said, jumping up to retrieve the clothes. She turned and headed for the bathroom in the basement to change. “You all set in there?” Zac asked after a few minutes of no return. “Yep, just fixing my hair.” Hannah replied as she straightened out her shirt. She picked up the borrowed clothes and paused as she caught a whiff of Zac’s shirt. She grinned and held the shirt to her face. It smelled wonderful… like Zac. She pulled off her shirt and pulled his back on as Zac opened the door. “You’re still wearing my shirt.” He noted. Hannah nodded. “Mine’s still wet.” She lied. Zac frowned. “Looks dry to me.” Hannah threw it in the sink and turned on the tap. “It’s wet now.” She said. Zac laughed and wrapped his arms around her waist. Hannah felt a shock travel through her body as their hips met and Zac buried his face in the curve of her neck. “You know, you could’ve just said you wanted to wear my shirt. I don’t mind.” He whispered into her neck, sending shivers down her spine. She felt his fingers press against the small of her back and her heart skipped a beat. He gently kissed her neck and raised his head to come face to face with her. “Besides, it looks really hot on you.” He added, inching ever closer. She felt her back hit the wall and he pulled one of her legs up to wrap around his waist. She looked at him through half-lidded, lust filled eyes as his lips came nearer. She took a deep breath and licked her lower lip in anticipation. “What in hell is taking so long?” Josh said as he rounded the corner. “Ah!” He jumped in surprise, shielding his eyes. “Didn’t expect that.” Zac and Hannah leapt apart and looked away from each other. “You know, you can watch the movie without us.” Zac said crossly. Josh laughed. “Come on, before mom comes down here and finds you two.” He turned to leave. “Uh, Hannah? Is that your shirt?” Josh asked pointing to the sink. Hannah quickly turned off the tap. “Um, it had a stain.” She lied. Josh raised his eyebrows, unconvinced. “Shut up.” She mumbled, ringing excess water out of the fabric. :) Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I'm stuffed. haha

This fic is going up quickly! I'm sure you guys don't mind though. :P hah
Enjoy. “Well that wasn’t so bad!” Hannah smiled as Zac pulled up in front of her house that Friday. “Whatever you say.” Zac laughed. They had just finished eating dinner with his family and Hayley. Most of the night had consisted of old stories from Zac’s mother about how she always knew Zac and Hannah would start dating one day. “Want to come in for a bit?” Hannah asked. “Sure.” Zac smiled. He hopped out of the car and hurried to get the door for Hannah. She rolled her eyes as he opened her door and bowed as she got out. “Dork!” She laughed. “I prefer the term ‘gentleman.’” Zac said in his best British accent, making Hannah laugh harder, he wasn’t very good with accents. “Hello?” Hannah called as they walked through the door. No one answered. Hannah grinned and placed her arms around Zac’s neck. “That wouldn’t be very gentlemanly of me.” Zac frowned as Hannah tried to kiss him. “You suck.” She slapped his chest with a smile. Zac laughed and kissed her lightly. “Hannah? Is that you?” A voice called from up the stairs. Hannah rolled her eyes. “Yes Mark, I have company.” She called back. Mark was her fourteen year old, annoying as hell, little brother. “I need a ride to the mall.” He said as he hurried down the stairs. “Hey Zac!” “Hi.” Zac smiled politely. Mark had always looked up to Zac; he aspired to be a drummer someday, just like Zac. “It’s 9:30, the mall closes in half an hour.” Hannah said, annoyed. “I’m meeting Jackson for a movie.” He replied, pulling on his shoes. “No, it’s too late. Mom and dad would never let you go.” Hannah said, heading for the living room with Zac. “Hannah, you’d better take me.” Mark warned. “No. It’s too late!” She said simply. “You have to take me.” Mark said, voice getting louder. “I don’t have to do anything!” Hannah laughed. “Plus, mom and dad would freak.” “I saved your life!” Mark roared. “You owe me!” “Mark!” Hannah yelled. Zac suddenly felt incredibly awkward. Her little brother had been the one to donate the bone marrow that had helped cure Hannah’s cancer. “No!” Mark yelled. “Without me you’d be dead!” “Hey!” Zac scolded. Mark ignored him. “So I suggest you take me to the mall.” He finished. Hannah sat on the couch, lip trembling. Zac watched a tear run down her cheek and his heart broke for her. How could her brother, her own flesh and blood, be such an ass? “Anyone home?” Hannah’s mom called as she and Hannah’s father walked through the door. “Mom, dad!” Mark ran to the door. “Will you take me to the mall?” “No, it’s too late.” Hannah’s dad replied. “Aw dang.” Mark said, head hung low. “Zachary! Hello!” Hannah’s mom said, spotting him in the living room. “Uh, hi.” He said, snapping out of his shock. “Hannah! What’s wrong?” Her mom rushed over when she saw the tears. Hannah shook her head and fled for the door. “Hannah!” Zac called out, jogging after her. He caught up to her about halfway down the street and she collapsed into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably. “He always does that!” She yelled in between sobs. “That was completely uncalled for.” Zac said. “He’s an ass. I can’t believe he would say that.” He spat angrily. “I hate this.” She whispered. “I fucking hate cancer!” She screamed. “Shh.” Zac soothed, he rubbed her back as she began sobbing again. “Hannah!” Her mother came running. “Hannah, what’s wrong?” She asked. “My little fucking brother is what’s wrong!” Hannah yelled. “Hannah!” Her mother scolded. “No!” Hannah cried. “No, he – he keeps” She choked on her words. “He tried to blackmail her by saying she owed him because he saved her life.” Zac said quietly. This set Hannah off again. Zac hugged her tightly as she sobbed. “He did WHAT?” Hannah’s father roared, overhearing Zac. He turned and ran back for the house. “Oh honey!” Her mom gently pulled Hannah away from Zac and hugged her. “How long has he been doing this?” “A-a few we-eeks now” Hannah sputtered between gasps for air. “Shh, calm down, it’s alright.” Zac said. He was afraid she would begin hyperventilating soon. “I was afraid of this.” Her mother sighed. She led Hannah back to the house. “What?” Zac asked, grabbing Hannah’s arm as she wavered unsteadily on her feet. “The doctors said he might go through this phase. I hoped he wouldn’t.” Her mom sighed. Hannah hiccoughed as her body tried to bring her breathing down to a normal rate. “Thanks a lot Hannah.” Mark spat as Zac helped Hannah in the door of the house. “Markus! I said go to your room.” Hannah’s dad ordered angrily. “Now!” Fresh tears sprang to Hannah’s eyes. “Why don’t you go get some sleep honey.” Hannah’s mom suggested. Hannah nodded. “We love you baby.” Hannah’s dad said, hugging her. “He had no right to say that, he’s been grounded indefinitely.” He added. “That’s just going to make it worse.” Hannah finally spoke. “Let us worry about it dear.” Hannah’s mom said quietly. “We’ll think of something else, you go get some rest.” Zac placed his hand on her arm and gently guided her to her room. “Sorry you had to see that.” Hannah sighed. “Why didn’t you tell me he’s been doing that?” Zac asked. Hannah shrugged. She grabbed her pajamas and headed for the bathroom to change. While she was gone, Zac pulled back the blankets on her bed for her and put on a CD. He knew she always had to have some sort of background noise before she could fall asleep. “I don’t deserve you.” Hannah smiled, watching him prepare the bed for her from the doorway. Zac spun around quickly in shock. He smiled, she looked much happier than she had been only moments before. Her short hair was in a loose ponytail and the old sparkle seemed to be returning to her eyes. “I don’t deserve you.” Zac corrected. He placed his arms around her waist and kissed her forehead. Hannah closed her eyes and smiled, leaning against him. “Come here.” Zac guided her to the bed and helped her get in. Hannah laughed as he pulled the blanket over her small body and tucked her in. He sat down on the edge of the bed and kissed her nose. “You gonna be alright?” He asked. Hannah nodded. “But I don’t know if I can stay around here if this keeps going.” She admitted. Zac thought for a minute. “Well, according to the doctors, it’s just a phase right?” Zac asked. Hannah nodded her head slowly, not knowing where he was going. “You should come on tour with us for a bit. You can get away from Mark while he’s going through this ‘phase’ and be with me.” Zac grinned broadly. Hannah sighed. “I don’t think it’s that easy.” She said. “I know.” Zac said, looking her in the eyes. “But, at least you wouldn’t have to be near him for a bit. It would be good for both of you.” Hannah frowned. “It would be nice.” She said quietly. “But I don’t think my parents would let me, plus I’ve got school.” “The tour ends before school starts.” Zac pointed out. “And, we’ll talk to your parents. It’s not like you have to come on the whole tour if you don’t want to. You could just come out whenever things get too stressful here.” Hannah thought about it. “That might work…” She said slowly. Zac grinned in triumph. “I’ll talk to the guys about it tomorrow, then we can work on the parents.” He said. Hannah nodded. “Alright, get some sleep.” Zac smiled. He bent down and kissed her lightly. “Stay with me.” She whispered as he walked toward the door. Zac paused and turned out the light. Hannah grinned as she felt added weight sink on to the bed. She couldn’t see him in the dark, but she knew Zac had decided to stay. As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she saw his outline lying next to her. She cuddled up close and fell asleep almost instantly. When he was sure she was asleep, Zac carefully disentangled himself from her and stood up. He was sure her parents were wondering why he hadn’t come back down the stairs yet, and he knew they would be none too happy if he stayed the night in their daughter’s bed. He looked at her sleeping form and smiled. Her hair was splayed across the pillow and she had one hand tucked under her chin. He brushed the hair out of her face and kissed the side of her head lightly. “I love you.” He whispered. His heart stopped and his eyes went wide as the words left his mouth. He didn’t know where that had come from. He wasn’t even sure he meant it. He stared at her nervously, hoping against all hope that she really was asleep and hadn’t heard him. She showed no signs of hearing his words. Zac sighed in relief and headed for the door. Don't hate her brother too much. He get's better eventually, I promise. :)

New Beginnings ch. 6
wow. I guess the last chapter wasn't as bad as I thought it was... hah. I dunno, I'm still not a big fan of it but whatever.
Anyway, here's chapter six. It's mostly filler for now. Things get exciting again soon though. :) Enjoy. “Hannah!” Zac’s mom said as she answered the door. She hugged the small girl tightly. “Look at you!” She continued. “You look so much healthier.” Hannah smiled politely. “How long has it been?” She asked. “Mom! Leave her alone!” Zac called, taking the stairs two at a time as he rushed down. Hannah laughed. “I’ve been cancer free for nearly a year now.” She smiled. “Oh that’s wonderful!” Zac’s mom grinned. “Lets go.” Zac said, leading Hannah to the stairs quickly before his mother could interrogate her further. “Zac, you know the rules.” His father warned as Zac made his way to his room with Hannah. “Dad, it’s Hannah.” Zac said, rolling his eyes and walking over to him so they could talk privately. “She’s been in my room hundreds of times.” He continued. His dad sighed. “Keep the door open.” He said. “Oh come on, nothing is going to happen! I share a room with my brother, who happens to be in there at the moment.” Zac protested. “Door open.” His father warned. Zac shook his head in annoyance but agreed. “Come on Hannah.” Zac said, leading her up the stairs once more. “Hey Hannah.” Josh said as the two entered. “Zac, I’ll see you later, I’m going to go meet Hayley for a movie.” “See ya.” Zac called after him. Hannah looked around the room curiously. It hadn’t changed much since the last time she had visited years ago. Then again, Zac was hardly ever home to really change anything in the room. She smiled as she saw an old photo of the two of them in a photo album on his desk. “Ha! Look at Taylor!” She laughed as she flipped through the old album and pointed to a photo. Zac smiled. “So, what do you want to do today?” Zac asked. Hannah set the album back down and thought for a moment. “Well, you said you’d teach me drums…” She smiled. Zac laughed. “Alright, lets go.” “Yes!” Hannah punched the air in victory. “No, hold on, that’s not quite right.” Zac laughed as Hannah banged on his drum kit in the basement. Once more, he took advantage of the chance to get close, and pulled a chair up behind her. He placed his hands over hers and helped her play a steady beat slowly. “Ok, let me try on my own!” She said, she was determined to play this simple beat without help from him. “Very good!” Zac cheered from his chair as she got through the beat he had been teaching her for the past fifteen minutes. She grinned and swiveled her stool to face him, placing her legs over his. She leaned forward and kissed him slowly. Zac gently placed a hand on her bottom and tried to pull her closer. “Hey! Hands off!” She broke their kiss with a giggle. Zac blushed. “Sorry, I was just trying to get you closer.” He mumbled. Hannah smiled and repositioned herself so she was sitting on his lap, facing him. “That’s better.” He smiled. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her eagerly. Not five minutes later, they heard the door to the basement open. Hannah jumped off Zac and spun her stool around so she was facing the drum kit again. Zac, thinking quickly, spun her again so she was facing the toy drum pads that belonged to Guitar Hero. “Good job, try it one more time.” He said as his mother reached the bottom of the stairs. “Hello!” She smiled happily. “I made cookies and thought you might want some fresh ones.” “Oh, thanks mom.” Zac said, blushing deeply. “Thank you Mrs. Farro.” Hannah added. “How’s it going?” His mom asked. “She’s getting pretty good.” Zac beamed. “She didn’t want to annoy everyone with the drum kit though, so we’ve switched to practicing on the Guitar Hero drums.” He added. “Oh, I wondered why it was so quiet down here.” Mrs. Farro smiled. “But really, don’t worry about the noise. Go ahead and use the real drums.” She added. Hannah nodded, blushing furiously. “Alright, well I’ll leave you to it.” Zac’s mom said and headed for the stairs. “Good cover!” Hannah said, impressed. Zac puffed his chest out a bit. “I know!” He grinned. Hannah rolled her eyes and turned to face the drum kit once more. “So, when are you two going to get together?” Zac’s dad asked as soon as Hannah left. Zac laughed and headed for his room, ignoring the question. “They already are dad.” Jon answered, earning a glare from Zac. “I know. I just wanted him to say it.” Zac’s dad laughed. “I nearly caught them kissing earlier.” Zac’s mom said with a smile. “Mom!” Zac cried. “What? When?” “Zac honey, do you really expect me to believe that Hannah was worried about the noise of the drums? You were both blushing like crazy, there’s no way you were practicing on that Guitar Band game.” “Guitar Hero.” Zac corrected. “Rock Band.” Jon corrected at the same time. “Zac, I think we need to talk.” Zac’s dad said. “No!” Zac said, eyes going wide. “No, no! We’ve already had that talk.” “That was before you had a girlfriend.” He said. Jonathan stifled a laugh. “You’d better sit in too Jon.” Their father added. “Dad!” Jon whined. “I’m just kidding.” Their father laughed. “Its fun to see you squirm.” Zac shook his head. “Jon, I need you to work at the restaurant tonight. Sam called out.” Mr. Farro said. “Do I have to?” Jon complained. “I’ll give you that raise you’ve been asking for.” He bribed. “Done!” Jon said excitedly. “Amateur.” Zac said as their dad left the room. “What?” Jon asked. “Should have asked for time and a half.” Zac said. “Time and a what?” Jon asked. “Time and a half. Say you make 8 bucks now, half of that is 4 so, with time and a half, you get 12 bucks an hour.” Zac explained. “Damn.” Jon said quietly. “Hey Dad!” He yelled, jogging out of the room. “You’re awful!” Zac’s mom laughed. “I try.” Zac smiled. “I want you to invite Hannah to dinner this Friday.” She said matter-of-factly. Zac groaned, this is exactly why he hadn’t told his family; he didn’t want everyone focusing on them. “Zac.” She said warningly. “Alright.” He sighed. “Alright, I’ll do it.” Chapter 7 will be up... sometime. I have the rest of the week off for Thanksgiving break, so it will probably get posted sooner rather than later... assuming I can focus long enough to finish writing/editing it. Hmm.

New Beginnings ch. 5
I'm really not very happy with this chapter... but here it is anyway.
There's a little bit of language in this one. Just a warning. hah Actually, that part is probably the best part in this chapter... :| “Where are we going?” Hannah asked as Zac dragged her across the Warped campus. “Over here.” He replied mysteriously. “Why?” Hannah demanded, panting slightly as they jogged. “There’s someone I want you to meet, but he’s leaving soon.” Zac replied. “Now shut up and run!” He teased. Hannah rolled her eyes, but sped up. “Yes! He’s still here.” Zac smiled. Hannah looked around, her blue eyes landing on a tall, lanky man with blonde hair facing away from them. “Andrew!” Zac yelled. Hannah gasped as she realized who the man was. “Zac!” She squealed. “No! I look like shit!” “You look fine!” He smiled. “Seriously.” “Hey Farro! Long time no see!” Andrew McMahon walked over. Hannah squeaked. Zac gave him a quick hug and turned to face Hannah, her eyes were huge. “Andrew, this is Hannah. Hannah, Andrew.” Zac did a quick introduction. “Oh is this the Hannah who has leukemia?” Andrew asked. “Had.” Zac corrected with a grin. “You told him?!” Hannah said quietly to Zac. “Uh, yeah.” Zac said, suddenly not sure his plane was a good idea. “Sorry.” “Nice to meet you.” Andrew held out his hand. Hannah took it and shook nervously. “So, cancer free?” He asked. Hannah nodded slowly. “Uh, yeah. Almost a year now.” She said finally. “Congratulations!” Andrew said with his lopsided smile. Hannah blushed. They made small talk for a while, and as Hannah got over her shock, they began sharing stories of their experiences. Zac looked on happily. His plan wasn’t a flop after all. He knew it would mean a lot to her to meet Andrew. All he wanted to do was make her happy, up till now, her life had been pretty crazy and unfair. She deserved happiness. “Hey, I have to go meet up with some friends.” Andrew said. “It’s our last day on Warped so we’re celebrating!” He laughed. “You two are welcome to come if you want.” “I think we’ll sit it out.” Zac smiled. Hannah nodded in agreement. “Thanks for the offer though.” “Alright. See you.” Andrew waived. He gave Hannah a quick hug before wandering away. “Oh my gosh you’re amazing!” Hannah squealed as soon as Andrew was out of earshot. She pulled him into a hug. Zac laughed. “I figured you’d like that.” He smiled. Hannah nodded. “I feel like such a fangirl right now.” She giggled. Zac shook his head. “Most regular fans don’t get to talk to Andrew freaking McMahon about his cancer experience.” Zac said. Hannah laughed. “Thank you.” She said sincerely. “You’re welcome.” Zac replied. “I knew it would mean a lot.” “Really, I can’t thank you enough.” She said. “You were always there for me.” “Not really.” He said. “I was pretty crappy at being there actually. I didn’t come to the hospital at first, and then I left for tour when you had your surgery and recovery treatment.” “Shh.” Hannah hushed. “You were always there for me when I needed you most. That’s all that matters.” She whispered, kissing him on the cheek lightly. He blushed deeply, but it was far too dark for her to notice. “Uh.” Zac grunted. His brain screamed at him to kiss her, to not let her get away this time, but he ignored it. “Hey good looking!” A guy called as a group walked by the two. “Fuck off!” Hannah replied. “Oh! You dirty little girl!” The guy replied. “Why don’t you – ah!” The guy fell to the ground. He raised his hands to his face in pain. “Holy shit!” Hannah yelped. Zac stood over the guy, fist still raised. “What the hell dude!” The guy said from the ground. A steady stream of blood flowed from his nose. “Don’t you ever talk to her again!” Zac spat. The guy stumbled to his feet and ran off. “Zac!” Hannah cried. “What the hell!” “He was an ass.” Zac replied. “So! You don’t just go punch him! That won’t solve anything.” Hannah said. “Fuck that hurt.” Zac said, ignoring her and waiving his hand around furiously in an attempt to dull the pain. Hannah rushed to his side and cradled his hand. “Lets go find some ice.” She sighed. “Hannah.” Zac said, stopping her as she led the way back to the bus. “I don’t let anyone talk about the people I care about like that. He deserved more than a bloody nose.” Hannah laughed. “Well… thanks for sticking up for me.” She said. “But I still don’t think you had to punch him.” Zac smiled as his eyes met with hers. There was that thrilling sparkle in her eyes that drew him in… He put his good hand behind her neck purposefully and gently pulled her close. “What are you doing?” Hannah asked quietly. He leaned in closer. A smile spread across her lips and she closed her eyes. “Ouch!” Hannah laughed as their noses collided. Zac backed away, rubbing his nose and laughing. “Well that didn’t go as planned…” He said. “Sorry.” Hannah smiled and wrapped her hands around his waist. She stood on her toes and kissed him slowly. Zac pulled her close and kissed back, heart bursting with happiness. “See you in a few weeks.” Zac whispered as he hugged Hannah. “Can’t wait.” She smiled back. “I’m gonna miss you.” Hayley pouted, she hurried forward and hugged Hannah. “You were only here two days, can’t you stay?” Hannah shook her head. “I’ll see you soon!” She laughed. She picked up the backpack that held her belongings and turned to get off the tour bus. “Oh, one more thing.” Hannah turned to face Zac. He grinned, walked toward her and kissed her hard on the mouth. “Oh my gosh!” Hayley squealed in excitement. “What?” Josh and Jeremy poked their heads out of the bunk area to see what was going on. “Is that all?” Jeremy asked as he watched the two. He quickly disappeared to the back lounge again with Josh close behind. “Since when?!” Hayley asked excitedly as Zac and Hannah broke for air. “About an hour ago.” Zac smiled, unable to take his eyes off Hannah. “Aww!” Hayley cooed. “Go away.” Zac said, earning a playful slap from Hannah. “I’ll see you later.” Hannah kissed him one last time before stepping off the bus and into the car that would take her back to Tennessee. Zac sighed as he watched her leave; he already missed her. He had absolutely no idea how he had lived without her for so long. It was one of life’s eternal mysteries. “Wow, you got it bad!” Hayley teased. “Shut up.” Zac said, collapsing onto the nearest couch. “Only two weeks and you can see her again.” Hayley pointed out. Zac grunted. “That’s two weeks too long.” He mumbled. *cringes* I might do another update tonight to make up for this chapter. :)

November 24, 2008MFEO take 2??
Ok, here's the deal. haha. I was listening to my iPod on the way to class this morning and a certain song came on and gave me a REALLY good idea for a Made for Each Other sequel. The problem is, it only gave me an idea for the last two chapters and I don't know if anyone wants a MFEO sequel.
I'm (obvously) doing the Zacfic now, and I had another Joshayley planned for afterward (assuming I can think of enough ideas for it.) so if I did do an MFEO sequel it would be a while before it was posted. I suppose I could start posting it after the Zacfic and leave the other Joshayley for later... I don't know. Anyway! I'm wondering how many people would like to see a MFEO sequel and if so, any ideas?? Like I said, I only have an idea for the last 2 chapters haha. Maybe I can post it as a two-shot sequel... hmm. I think I'd like to do more with it than a two-shot... ugh, I'm so indecisive. haha Wow, my brain has been this creative in a long time. haha. Back in September I was thinking I'd do MFEO, a few one shots and that would be it. But most of my one shot ideas have morphed into actual fics and now I have sooooooo many ideas in the works... haha, I suppose that's a good thing... Anyway, let me know what you think! :)

November 23, 2008New Beginnings ch. 4
Another update!! wow. hah. Still sort of short... sorry.
Ok so, there's one thing you need to know for this chapter (if you didn't already know it): Apparently those drum stools that drummers sit on to play are called ‘drum thrones’ I didn’t know that… I promise it’s relevant. :) Enjoy! The following morning, Zac woke early. Hannah had tickets to that date’s Warped show in Georgia before she was due to head home and Hayley had helped convince Hannah’s parents to let her stay the night on the tour bus instead of driving with them to the next show. Zac wanted to make sure he was awake before her so she wouldn’t be sitting around with nothing to do. He crept by her bunk and sighed in relief when he realized she was still fast asleep. “Morning.” Hayley whispered. Zac nodded a ‘hello’ and followed her in to the front lounge. “How was your day with Hannah?” Hayley asked. “Good.” Zac said with a shrug. Hayley smiled knowingly. “When are you gonna ask her out?” She asked. “What! I’m not. We’re just friends.” Zac sputtered. “Keep telling yourself that…” Hayley laughed. Zac spun around as he heard movement from the bunk area. “Just me.” Taylor said with a yawn as he emerged from his bunk. “Not your lover.” “Shut up Tay.” Zac said, rubbing his eyes. He hadn’t had much sleep. “You should probably wake her up, we’ve got to go find out our set time pretty soon.” Hayley smirked. Zac rolled his eyes and walked over to the guest bunk. He pulled back the curtain and smiled. She looked so peaceful and happy. She had one hand tucked under her face and her other arm was wrapped around something fuzzy. Zac’s grin widened as he recognized the tan object she held. “Hannah.” He whispered. She didn’t stir. “Han.” He tried again, nudging her lightly. Her eyes flew open and she sat up straight, whacking her head on the bunk above her in the process. “Ah!” She rubbed her head. “Shit, sorry!” Zac said, trying not to laugh. “Your an ass.” Hannah laughed when she saw his attempt at a straight face. “Well good morning to you too.” He said. She stuck her tongue out at him. “I see you still have Z. Wayne.” Zac smiled, pointing to the fuzzy tan teddy bear that was now sitting in her lap. She quickly picked the bear up and hid it from view. “Uh, yeah.” She replied, unable to look at him. “He goes by Zwane now. Easier to say…” Her voice trailed off as she spoke. Zac laughed. “I’m glad you didn’t get rid of him.” He said. “I’d never get rid of him!” Hannah laughed, grabbing the bear back and hugging it. “He’s my buddy.” Zac laughed. “Time to get up, we have to eat and find out when we play.” Zac informed. Hannah nodded and climbed out of her bunk. “Zac, you still have to give me drum lessons.” Hannah smiled as she spotted the new Guitar Hero game on the tour bus. Zac laughed. “Alright, set it up.” He said. He pulled out a drum throne and placed it in front of the toy drum pad for her to sit on. She turned on the game and took a seat. She browsed through the set list before choosing “Misery Business” with a laugh. Zac rolled his eyes as the game loaded and laughed along with her. “Ok, that purple line is the kick.” Zac explained, pointing to the foot pedal. Hannah’s eyes went wide as notes came flying down the screen. “Oh my gosh! How can you do this?” She asked, frantically hitting the pads with her drumsticks. “I am nowhere near coordinated enough.” Zac laughed. “Well, part of the problem is that you’re hitting the pads too late. But most of your problem is that you’re playing it on hard.” He explained. He easily could have paused the game and reset it to ‘easy’ but he decided to take advantage of the opportunity to be close to her and pulled a chair up behind her. He took a seat in the chair, placing one of his legs on either side of her. Hannah jumped slightly at the contact, but immediately relaxed. “Just focus on the kick, I’ll help with the rest.” He said trying his hardest to focus on the game instead of her inviting neckline. Hannah blushed furiously, she was sure Zac could feel the heat radiating from her face as he leaned his head over her shoulder and rested it next to hers. She jumped as he placed his hands over hers, working the drumsticks expertly as the notes came flying by. Her plan was simultaneously working perfectly and failing fantastically. She had played Guitar Hero countless times, and was actually able to play the drums fairly well on ‘easy’ mode. She had hoped Zac would help her with the game if she feigned ignorance, but she hadn’t expected him to get so close. She could barely focus. She realized he was rambling on about tips on how to play but she hadn’t heard a word. His scent was too intoxicating. When the song finally ended, Hannah threw her arms in the air in victory. She leaned back into Zac’s chest in a strange sort of hug and she swore she heard, or at least felt, him gasp. “You should teach me real drums.” Hannah smiled. “You always promised you would.” Zac cleared his throat. He couldn’t think straight, not with her being so close. “Uh, yeah. When we I get off Warped, sure.” He answered finally. He stood quickly and busied himself with turning the game off. “Sounds like a plan.” Hannah said quietly. It was suddenly obvious to her that Zac didn’t like her, why else would he want to get away so quickly? “Dang it! We’re gonna be late!” Zac cried, looking at the clock on the wall. “For what?” Hannah asked. “Come on!” Zac grabbed her hand and pulled her out the door. Hmm where could he possibly be taking her? heh heh hehhhhhh. :) Ok, no updates until at least Tuesday! haha.

New Beginnings ch. 3
This one is a bit short. Sorry. I might do a double update to make up for it. :P haha. We'll see.
Enjoy! “Zac!” Hayley called as he walked off stage. They were currently playing in Florida. “Yeah?” He asked, turning to face her. “I think Hannah was in the crowd.” She smiled. Zac’s eyes lit up. “Really?” He ran back to the stage to see. “Wow, I think he’s in love.” Hayley giggled, watching him scan the crowd. “I know I am!” Josh said, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her close. “Josh!” Hayley giggled as he smothered her with kisses. “Stop! Someone will see.” “We’ve known for a while now.” Taylor laughed as he and Jeremy walked around the corner. “Duh, but the general public doesn’t need to know!” Hayley laughed, pulling away from her boyfriend. “She’s here!” Zac called, running toward them. “Crush much?” Jeremy laughed as Zac bounced up and down excitedly. “What? No! I don’t like her like that.” Zac said quickly. Everyone laughed. “Do you guys mind if she hangs out with us for the day.” “Actually, yeah, I do.” Hayley said sarcastically. “I don’t want any other girls with us.” She added with a laugh. “What! Seriously?!” Zac cried. “Dude! Calm down, I was joking! Of course we don’t mind.” Hayley laughed. “Oh, right.” Zac blushed. “Uh, be right back.” He ran around the stage to find Hannah. “Can you say lovesick puppy?” Hayley giggled as she watched Zac disappear. ~*~ Zac and Hannah spent most of the day walking around the Warped campus, getting to know one another again. Neither one had changed much, they were just more mature versions of their younger selves. “Oh! Let’s go check them out!” Hannah pointed to one of the side stages. “Who are they?” Zac asked. “No idea, but they look cool.” Hannah took off for the stage. Zac laughed and followed, enjoying the view of Hannah’s backside as she walked. He had never remembered her hips being so mesmerizing… “How close do you want to be?” Hannah asked, turning around suddenly. Zac nearly ran in to her. He cleared his throat. “Uh, what?” He asked. “To the stage, how close do you want to be?” Hannah replied with a laugh. “Oh, doesn’t matter to me.” Zac said, blushing slightly. “The closer the better I guess.” He added. “Come on.” Hannah smiled. She grabbed his hand and pulled him in to the crowd. “They’re really good!” Zac yelled over the music a few moments later. Hannah nodded in agreement. “I wonder who they are!” She yelled back. Zac shrugged. The band had yet to announce their name. “Oh my god! It’s Zac Farro!” A girl screamed from somewhere to Zac’s left. There were a few shrieks and suddenly Zac was surrounded by a circle of girls. “That’s new.” He mumbled to himself. He turned to find Hannah, but she had been shoved away. The girls were now shouting questions at him and asking for autographs. “Ladies! Ladies!” Zac yelled. “I’m sorry, I can’t talk right now my uh… girlfriend and I are just trying to enjoy the music.” He found Hannah and pulled her close, praying she would play along. Hannah looked stunned for a moment as his arm snaked around her waist, before she turned to the girls. “Please don’t kill me for snatching him up!” She said with a smile, resting her head on Zac’s shoulder playfully. Zac body tingled with happiness at her gesture. “Aw! You two are so cute!” One girl said. “Er… thanks.” Zac said. “Come on…babe…let’s get out of here.” He added awkwardly. He tangled his fingers with Hannah’s and pulled her to the edge of the crowd. “That was hilarious!” Hannah laughed as they walked away. Zac laughed and nodded in agreement. He realized he was still holding her hand, and dropped it quickly, blushing. “Thanks for playing along.” Zac said. “No problem.” Hannah smiled. “Hope your real boyfriend wont mind.” He said with a frown. Hannah laughed. “Smooth!” She said with a smile. “What?” He asked. “You could’ve just asked if I had a boyfriend, you don’t have to be all sneaky about it.” She explained. Zac blushed. “And, the answer is no, I do not have a boyfriend.” She smirked. Zac laughed. “A-Alright then.” He said clumsily. “Is there any food around here?” Hannah asked as her stomach grumbled loudly. “Of course!” Zac smiled. Food was quite possibly the only thing he liked at least as much, if not more than, Hannah at this particular moment. He shook his head, trying to get her off his brain as he led her to the tour bus. He wasn’t supposed to like his friends. Couldn't leave the Joshayely out of it! hahah. XD

November 22, 2008Randomness
Ok, story time. lol.
I spent the night at my friend's place last night after going to see a movie (not Twilight) and I woke up this morning to my friend yelling "OH MY GOD!" right in my ear. Nice right? hah. I sat up straight, scared for my freaking life and she repeated herself ("Oh my God!" Just as loud as the first time.) The first thing out of my mouth was "Did it snow?" I have no idea why that came to mind but I said it anyway. She said "Just come look!" with this really worried look on her face and she dragged me out of bed to the window. This is what I found: ![]() hahah. I took the picture around 10:30 and it is now.... 11:41. since the pic was taken we've got an extra inch and a half or so on top of that was already there, and it's not showing any signs of slowing down. I love the first snow of the year. But this is weird. It never snows this much until at least mid-December. We get "light dustings" as early as the end of October, but they never stick for more than like, 12 hrs until December. Oh well, I like it anyway. haha. In January I'll be SO over the snow though. Walking through snow on the way to class is NOT a fun time...

November 21, 2008New Beginnings Ch. 2
Ok, so this chapter is all about getting to know Hannah and Zac. How they met, random experiences they shared, etc.
Enjoy. ~Flashback~ “Who’s that?” Taylor asked Zac as the two sat down to lunch. “I don’t know.” Zac said. “Be right back.” He made her way over to the girl. “Hi, I’m Zachary Wayne Farro.” He said, frightening the girl. She looked around, convinced he was talking to someone else. “Um, I’m Hannah.” She said quietly. “I’m new.” “I used to be new too.” Zac smiled, puffing his chest up a bit. He knew what it felt like to be new and just want a friend. He didn’t know why, but he wanted to make sure this new student felt more comfortable then he had when he was the new kid. “How old are you?” Zac asked, trying to start a conversation. “I’m eight.” She said. “Cool. I’m almost nine!” He bragged. “Come eat lunch with us.” He held out his hand. She timidly grabbed it and followed Zac to his lunch table where Taylor and a few other friends were sitting. ----- -Age 11- “Hannah!” Zac yelled as he saw her outside the school gates. Hannah giggled as Zac jumped up and down around her in his normal Zacish behavior. “Guess what!” Zac said, a bit too loudly. “What?” Hannah laughed. “You know the band my brother and I are in?” He said quickly, not waiting for a response. “We found a singer! And her neighbor plays guitar. We have a real band now!” “Don’t you still need a bass player?” Hannah asked. “Shh!” Zac hushed. “Don’t say that. Let me be happy.” He frowned. “Alright, who’s the singer?” Hannah asked. “That new girl, Hayley.” Zac smiled with excitement again. “She can sing really well.” “Cool.” Hannah smiled. ----- -Age 14- Zac sat on a swing in the park, waiting for Hannah. They were supposed to go to a movie, but Hannah hadn’t shown up. He took out his cell phone and dialed her number. “Hey, you coming?” He asked when she answered. “Not tonight Zac.” She sighed. She sounded stuffed up, like she had been crying. “I’ll call you later.” She said, hanging up quickly. Zac shook his head. “Stupid Adam.” Zac said as Josh walked into their bedroom. “Who?” Josh asked, climbing into bed. “Hannah’s boyfriend.” Zac explained. “We were supposed to go to the movies but she didn’t show. I called her and it sounded like she was crying but she hung up before I could ask what was wrong. I think he did something stupid again.” He rambled. Hannah’s boyfriend had a nasty habit of not caring how his actions could hurt people. He’d made Hannah cry on countless occasions, once by choosing his friends over her, once by dancing with another girl at a school event, there was even one time when he’d kissed another girl. But, Adam also had a gift. He was very loveable, and too good at smooth talking. Because of his ‘gift’ Hannah forgave him every time he did something stupid, and they continued dating. It annoyed Zac to no end. “She’ll be fine.” Josh sighed. Zac was too young to be worrying about these things. Ten minutes later, Zac got a text message. ‘Meet me at our place. ~H’ “Cover for me!” Zac said, hopping out of bed and climbing out the window with no explanation. “Hannah?” Zac whispered as he reached the swing set at the local park. A small looking girl sitting on a swing jumped. “Zac? Is that you?” She called. “Yeah, what’s up?” He said, sitting next to her. She shrugged. “So you drag me out of my house at 9:30 for nothing?” Zac raised an eyebrow, trying to get her to talk. “I just wanted to see you I guess.” She said. She didn’t look well at all. “Are you alright?” He asked. She shivered and shook her head. Zac immediately wrapped his coat around her to keep her warm. “I’m scared.” She said, tears sparkling in her eyes. “Why?” Zac asked. Hannah didn’t reply. “Did Adam do something?” “No.” She said quickly. “He doesn’t know yet.” She added in a whisper. “What’s going on?” Zac said, becoming worried. “I went to the doctor’s today.” She said, staring at the ground. “My mom made me go because I’ve been sick so much recently.” Zac got a horrible feeling in the pit of his stomach.” “I have cancer.” She whispered. Zac froze. “You…what?” He asked. “How…what?” “Leukemia.” She said, tears falling from her eyes. Zac pulled her into a tight hug. “Shh.” He soothed. “It’ll be ok.” He said, not believing himself. ----- -Age 15- “Hey.” Zac smiled as he picked up his phone. “Hey stranger.” Hannah laughed on the other line. “You should come visit me dude! I’m so lonely here.” Zac bit his lip. “Uh, band practice today. If I skip, Josh will freak.” He lied. “Maybe later though.” Hannah sighed. “You say that every time…” She said. “I gotta go.” Zac frowned as the call was ended. --- Zac was sitting at the kitchen table, eating his after school snack, or dinner-sized meal depending on how you looked at it, when he got a text from Hannah. ‘I got dumped.’ was all it said. Zac jumped up and yelled for Josh. “What?” Josh said, annoyed. “I need a ride.” Zac said frantically. “Hannah?” Zac said as he walked into the hospital room. “Zac?” Hannah said, surprised. “It is you!” Zac stopped in his tracks when he saw her. She was a pale bag of bones in a hospital gown. Her normally thick shiny hair was now very dull and thinning. Overall, she looked very ill and worn down. “Uh, sorry to hear about Adam.” He said, handing over a box of candies. Hannah laughed. “It’s alright. About time really.” She sighed. Zac said nothing. “Sit! Enjoy yourself. I’m not contagious.” She laughed. “I know.” Zac said quietly as he sat on the very edge of her bed. “Why are you so uncomfortable?” Hannah asked. “You never visit me.” “We talk all the time!” Zac protested. “That’s not the same.” Hannah smiled lightly. Zac sighed. “I don’t know.” He said. “I guess…visiting you makes it real… I mean, I know it’s real, but when we talk on the phone, its like…the old times I guess. Its like everything’s fine and everything’s gonna be ok.” He admitted. “But when I actually see you… it makes everything real. It scares me.” He whispered. “I don’t want to lose my friend.” He added, almost inaudibly. Hannah bit her lip. She got up and hugged him. “I’m not going anywhere.” She promised. “Sorry.” He said, feeling incredibly stupid. He hadn’t meant to say any of that, he thought it made him seem less masculine. “Don’t be.” Hannah smiled. “Just promise you’ll visit more.” “Oh! I got you something.” Zac smiled, wanting to get away from the topic as quickly as possible. He picked up a bag and pulled out a teddy bear. “So you’re never alone.” He said. Hannah laughed. “Aww! How cheesy!” She smiled, taking the bear from him. “Oh, he’s soft.” She sat the bear on the bed in front of her. “I shall call him Z. Wayne.” She giggled. Zac laughed. “Thank you Zac.” She said, hugging him. “You always make me feel better.” --- “Ugh, this sucks.” Hannah said as she pulled another clump of hair off her sweater. She had lost so much weight from the disease and the treatment that she needed several layers to keep warm. Zac was visiting her in the hospital one last time before Paramore left for their first ever Warped Tour. “This place is gonna be so boring without you.” Hannah sighed, resting her head on Zac’s shoulder. “I’ll call ya.” Zac laughed. He looked her in the eyes. She had such beautiful eyes… Subconsciously, he moved his head closer to hers. He let his eyes close as his lips crept toward hers. “Hello, how are you feeling?” A nurse interrupted. Zac went bright red and he hurried to the corner of the room as the nurse performed a quick checkup. “Need anything?” She asked before walking toward the door. “A hair trimmer.” Hannah said quickly. The nurse smiled and hurried out the door. “Uh.” Zac said as the two were left alone again. Hannah raised her eyebrows at him. Zac mumbled something unintelligible as the nurse returned to the room. She dropped the hair trimmer on the hospital bed, along with a towel before hurrying out the door once more. Hannah took the trimmer and plugged it in to the wall. “What are you doing?” Zac asked, relieved to have something else to talk about. “My hair is bugging me.” She said simply. “Help me out.” She handed the trimmer to him and wrapped the towel over her shoulders. “You love your hair…” Zac said. “It’s coming out either way.” She shrugged. “This way is less annoying. Now come on, shave me.” She giggled. Zac took a step forward. “Are you sure?” He asked. Hannah shut her eyes and took a deep breath. “Just do it.” She said quietly. Zac held the trimmer to her head and began to shave her hair off nervously. He saw a tear roll down her cheek as a large chunk of hair fell onto her lap. “See! I knew I shouldn’t have!” He said, pulling away quickly. “No! Please.” She begged. “I want it off. It just sucks…” She sighed, wiping her eyes. “I hate cancer…” “I’ll do it with you.” Zac said, making up his mind instantly. He raised the trimmer to his own hair. “Zac! No!” She stood quickly to stop him. “Please don’t.” “Why? I want to.” He said. “I don’t want you to.” She said. “You’d have a lumpy head.” She laughed. Zac shook his head and laughed as well. “I’m gonna miss you.” Zac said. Visiting hours were over ages ago and the nurse was finally making him leave. “I’m gonna miss you too.” Hannah said quietly. “Call me every day. And have fun!” She smiled. “Yeah.” Zac laughed. “Call me as soon as you wake up from surgery.” Zac said. While Zac was on tour, Hannah would be in surgery for a bone marrow transplant in an attempt to cure her leukemia. “Will do.” She said with a forced smile. “Bring Z. Wayne with you.” Zac smiled, referring to the stuffed bear. “Then you’ll know I’m with you.” Hannah laughed. “You’re so cheesy!” She punched him playfully. She grabbed the bear and hugged it against her chest. “He’s definitely coming though.” She whispered. Zac grinned. Hannah looked to him and stuck her tongue out randomly. “I cant believer you’re playing Warped Tour!” She grinned broadly, lightening the mood. “I know! It’s insane!” Zac grinned. “I wish you could be there.” “Me too.” Hannah smiled. “Maybe next year.” Zac nodded. She hugged him tight as the nurse reentered the room to kick Zac out. “I’ll call you whenever I can.” Zac promised. Hannah nodded. “Have fun. See you in a few weeks.” She smiled. She kissed him on the cheek, making him blush deeply. “Uh, bye then.” He said. “Bye.” Hannah smiled. ---- -Age 17- Over the next few years, Zac fell out of touch with Hannah. He was so busy with Paramore that he rarely had a chance to talk to her. He knew she had been released from the hospital but she had to go back frequently to be sure it hadn't returned. He also knew that she had become a huge Jack’s Mannequin fan because she could easily relate to what Andrew McMahon was going through. Whenever he could, Zac would send something Jack’s Mannequin related back home to Franklin for her. Whenever he did think of her, he realized he missed her like crazy. Josh now referred to her as ‘the one that got away’ which didn’t help matters. Zac constantly wondered if he really had let her get away. All those years ago, he didn’t think he liked her, not romantically anyway, but as he looked back on everything, he realized that she was perfect for him. And now it was too late. Wow that was a lot longer than I meant it to be... haha

New Beginnings ch. 1
Chapter one! yay. Sorry it's so short.
Enjoy! “How goes it?” Zac asked as he walked up to Paramore’s merch table. They had just finished their set at Warped in Tennessee and everyone in the band had wandered off, leaving Zac to fend for himself. “Crazy!” Aaron said, helping out customer after customer. “Oh my gosh! It’s Zac!” A fan screamed. “Uh, hi.” Zac laughed and signed a piece of paper happily. He helped out a the table for a few minutes until the crowd died down a bit. “Thanks man.” Aaron smiled. “No problem.” Zac said with a shrug. “Whoa, hang on a sec.” He ducked down in the small tent they were in to get a better view as a flash of brown hair caught his eye. “Hannah?” He asked. A girl waiting in line at the next booth over looked up. “Oh my gosh! It is you!” He grinned. He hopped over the table and jogged toward her. “Zac!” Hannah grinned. He hugged her quickly and pulled away to look at her. “Wow! Look at you.” He smiled. She was wearing skinny jeans and a Jack’s Mannequin top. She had light brown hair that fell to her chin and piercing blue eyes. “All cured.” Hannah said, spinning in a small circle. “Started gaining some weight back too.” She frowned. “At least you’re not a size zero anymore.” Zac laughed, she nodded. “You look great.” He smiled sincerely. “Thanks.” She said, blushing slightly. An awkward silence fell over them. “I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve talked to you.” Zac frowned. “I know!” She replied. “Both been busy I guess.” Zac nodded, he suddenly felt incredibly shy, which was a somewhat new feeling for him that he wasn’t quite sure how to deal with. “You should call me sometime.” Zac said finally. Hannah laughed. “I’m serious.” He said. “I miss talking to you.” “My number is still the same as it used to be, just so you know.” She narrowed her eyes. Zac stuck his tongue out at her. “Alright, I’ll call you then!” He said. Hannah smiled triumphantly. “I should get going, I don’t want to miss Jack’s.” She said, pointing to her shirt. “Alright.” Zac smiled. “Have a good time.” He waived as she walked away. ~*~ Later that evening, Zac sat in the front lounge, playing with an orange silicone wristband. His phone sat on the table next to him, but he couldn’t make himself pick it up. He hadn’t talked to Hannah in so long… “Hey Zac.” Josh said as he, Hayley and Taylor entered the bus. Zac nodded a greeting. “What’s that?” Hayley asked. “The ‘I Will Fight’ wristband I bought.” Zac said, showing it to her. The wristband had been sold by AbsolutePunk.net a few years ago when Andrew McMahon of Jack’s Mannequin had been diagnosed with cancer. “I saw Hannah today.” He said quietly. Josh immediately walked over and sat across from his brother while the others left them alone to talk. “How was she?” He asked. “She looked much better.” Zac said. “No more leukemia then?” Josh asked. “No more leukemia.” Zac smiled. “She beat it.” “That’s great!” Josh smiled. Zac nodded. He slipped the bracelet on his wrist. When his friend had been diagnosed with the disease, he had worn it every day; he wasn’t really sure why he had ever stopped. He jumped suddenly as his phone rang, signaling he had received a text message. ‘Same screen name? -Hannah’ was all it said. Zac grinned and hurried to find his laptop. I'll try to update this weekend. :) Let me know what you think.

November 20, 2008I Used to Know You... Ch. 10 (Final Chapter)
It's over! hah. Enjoy.
And THANK YOU to everyone who has commented/buzzed. :) You all make me happy. haha. “Where is he?” Hayley asked when she returned from her date with Colin. “Bunk.” Zac said, knowing she was talking about Josh. “He’s been there for hours.” Zac informed. He seemed to be the only one left awake. “He’s really pissed, but he wont say what happened.” Zac looked at Hayley hopefully. She shook her head, if Josh hadn’t said what had happened, she wasn’t about to. “He punched a wall, tore his hand up pretty badly.” Zac continued. “We tried taking him to the hospital but he won’t go.” Hayley groaned. She crept into the bunk area and called Josh’s name quietly. When there was no reply, she pulled back the curtain to his bunk. He was sleeping soundly. Hayley bit her lip, his eyes were slightly puffy, as if he had been crying. She gently brushed her fingers along his hand and winced when she felt the rough, but healing skin. She looked down and saw his knuckles were still covered in a bit of dried blood. Hayley felt tears sting at her eyes. She gently brushed a piece of hair out of his eyes and climbed into the bunk, positioning herself next to him. She leaned in and kissed his forehead gently. He didn’t immediately respond, but when he did wake, he jumped in surprise. “Hayley?” He asked, voice cracking from lack of use. She nodded. She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He pushed her away slightly. “What?” He said, shaking his head in disbelief. “What’s going on?” “I met with Colin and I told him I just wanted to be friends.” Hayley whispered. “We still went to dinner and a movie, but just as friends. I don’t like him, not like I like you.” She said, a tear rolling down her cheek. Josh reached out and brushed it away with his finger. He grinned and pulled her close, kissing her passionately. His heart burst, kissing Hayley was amazing, it was nothing like kissing Johanna. “I’m so sorry!” Hayley said as they broke apart. “Don’t apologize.” Josh whispered. “If anyone should apologize, it should be me.” Hayley didn’t reply, instead she rested her head on his chest. “I think I need to tell you the real reason Johanna left.” Josh said quietly. “She didn’t watch the tape?” Hayley looked up at Josh in surprise. “No.” He said. “Well yeah, she did, but that was like a week before she left.” “Josh!” Hayley said. “The real reason she left,” Josh continued over Hayley’s complaints, “is because we were making out and I said your name.” Hayley stared at him in disbelief. After a few seconds she burst out laughing. “Seriously?” She asked. Josh nodded, laughing as well. “That’s horrible!” Hayley said, unable to stop laughing. “I know.” Josh replied. "Did you really have to destroy the tape?" He asked suddenly. "Why? Did you want to keep it?" Hayley asked, confused. Josh didn't reply. "You pervert!" She grinned as she realized he had wanted to keep the tape. "That was nearly kiddie porn!" She added. A laugh escaped his lips and she slapped him gently. "Nah, I suppose it's for the best that it's gone." He admitted. He put his arm around her and kissed her again. “Yay!” Zac whispered from above. “You made up!” “Go away.” Josh ordered. Hayley laughed and pulled the curtain shut. “Don’t go doing anything nasty now.” Zac advised. “Zac, I said go away.” Josh said with a grin. He leaned forward and captured Hayley’s lips in another passionate kiss. Hayley sighed happily and settled into a more comfortable position next to him. “So, was that song about me?” Josh asked with a smile, referring to the song she played for the rest of the band a few days before. Hayley rolled her eyes. “Originally, yes. But not anymore.” She said. “I knew it.” He laughed. “Shut up.” She shoved him playfully. He wrapped both arms around her and pressed his forehead against hers. She grinned and moved her head so it was resting against his chest. “Mmm!” She smiled happily, pressing her body against his. “I fit.” “Yes you do.” Josh whispered. “You’re right where you belong.” And there’s another corny ending. :P Zacfic preview soon. :) Thanks again to everyone who had commented/buzzed/read.

November 19, 2008I Used to Know You... Ch 9
The drama ain’t over yet!
I think this is my favorite chapter out of all of it. Well, it's either this one or the next one... Enjoy! “Will you pass the cereal Hayley?” Josh asked. Hayley ignored him and headed for the back lounge. Josh sighed, Hayley had been ignoring him for two days now. Jeremy stood from the table and followed Hayley. “You have to talk to him eventually.” Jeremy said. “I know.” Hayley sighed. “I just can’t talk to him right now. I’m so angry.” “I honestly don’t think he meant to keep the tape.” Zac said, joining the conversation. “I think he got wrapped up in things and forgot about it.” Hayley raised an eyebrow. “I’ll talk to him, I promise.” Hayley said quietly. “But for now, let it be.” “So, I’ve been thinking.” Hayley said as she sat down to lunch a few days later. “Hmm?” Taylor asked. “You know those Twilight books I’ve been reading?” She asked. Everyone nodded. “We should write a song for the movie.” She smiled. Josh shrugged. “Have anything in mind?” He asked. She nodded, still refusing to actually speak to him, and picked up his guitar. She began playing the basics of what she had so far, she would need Josh to come up with better music for it, but at least she had a few chords to show everyone. “That’s different.” Josh said, recognizing part of the song. Hayley stopped singing. “Hmm?” She asked. “It used to be with a piano and…it was different.” He said. “How do you know that?” She asked slowly. “I heard you play it a while back.” Josh blushed. “Now it’s …a movie song.” “It’s supposed to be a movie song.” She said, slightly angry. “It’s for a movie.” “The first version was not for a movie.” Josh laughed. “Thanks for spying.” She spat, leaving the room. “Oh come on! You were so close to getting on her good side again!” Zac complained. “Sorry. I was just pointing out that the song is about vampires now. It used to have real meaning.” Josh said angrily. “I liked it.” Taylor said. “I did too.” Josh said. “I just liked the old version better.” ~*~ “Ok, see you then!” Hayley said into her phone. “Who are you meeting?” Josh asked. Hayley rolled her eyes, she was still slightly angry with him. “Colin.” She said quickly. “Nice to see you’re old friend is back.” She smiled before locking herself in the bathroom to get ready. Josh ran his tongue along the cool metal of his lip ring. He had definitely missed it while it was gone. “Who’s Colin?” He asked, turning to face Zac, Jeremy and Taylor. “Don’t you remember?” Jeremy asked. “That was the night he puked. He didn’t hang out outside with us.” Taylor yawned. “Oh yeah.” Jeremy said. “Who is Colin?” Josh asked again. “A fan, he’s pretty cool actually. He and Hayley have been talking non-stop for the past week or so.” Zac said. “Have you seriously not noticed?” “So she’s hanging out with a fan she doesn’t know…” Josh said slowly. “Going on a date with a fan she doesn’t know.” Jeremy corrected. “What the hell!” Josh said. “Hayley!” He said as she reappeared from the bathroom. “What?” She asked. “You can’t go meeting up with guys you don’t know.” Josh said. “Thanks dad, but I think I can do what I want.” Hayley said sarcastically. “Besides, I wont be alone, Graham is coming.” “Lucky me.” Graham said quietly. “And I do know him, thank you very much.” She added. “We’ve been talking for a while now.” “Hayley, don’t be stupid.” Josh said. “Excuse me?” She said, raising her eyebrows in disbelief. “You can’t date a fan!” He said, raising his voice slightly. “I can date whomever I please!” She argued. “You don’t know him!” Josh yelled. “Come on guys, back me up!” he said, turning to his band mates. “I'm gonna stay out of this one actually.” Zac said, making a speedy exit to the back lounge, Taylor and Jeremy on his heels. Josh groaned in frustration and turned back to face Hayley. He heard the door to the bus slam shut and quickly realized Hayley had left. “Hayley!” Josh took off after her. He saw her under a tree by a picnic table. “You can’t do this! It’s stupid.” He called after her. “Why?” Hayley said, turning quickly to face him. “Because.” Josh stammered. “You don’t know him!” “That’s why people go on dates Josh!” Hayley yelled back. “To get to know each other!” “Hayley! Be reasonable.” Josh said. “He doesn’t like you, he likes your fame.” “You’ve never met him! You don’t know what he’s like!” Hayley argued. “Hayley, he’s a guy, come on!” Josh replied. “You’re being completely irrational!” Hayley said. “You can’t see him.” Josh said calmly. “Why?” Hayley screamed. “Give me one good reason why not.” She glared at him expectantly, face red with anger. Josh leaned in and kissed her hard on the mouth. “That’s why!” Josh yelled. “Happy now?” he turned and walked away. Hayley raised a hand to her mouth in shock. She felt tears spill out her eyes. “Why?” She said quietly. “Why now?” Josh turned back to face her. “Why would you do that NOW?” She said loudly, anger boiling over. “I’ve spent so much fucking time getting over you and NOW you kiss me!” Josh didn’t say anything. “Why?” She screamed. “Why. Now?” She emphasized each word with a sharp jab to his chest. Josh winced in pain. “Hayley…” He said. “No.” She ran her fingers through her hair. “Ah I just…I don’t know.” She wiped her eyes. “I can’t do this right now.” She said suddenly. “I need to go.” “Hayley please…” Josh said quietly. “No.” Hayley shook her head. “Please go away.” She said, tears running down her cheeks. Josh didn’t move. “I need to be alone right now.” Hayley said, almost pleadingly. Josh looked utterly heartbroken. She shook her head, turned and ran. One more left. I'll probably post it tomorrow. The last part of this chapter inspired the whole fic by the way. :P

Comfort in Sound by Feeder (Just the title, not the actual album) Actual album and not title....hmm maybe Continuum by John Mayer or anything Death Cab or AWKIF - Paramore. Who's your favourite band? Bahaha thats a silly question. Paramore. I have 130 songs in my music library by Paramore... is that bad? (Lots of live versions of songs, haha) Favourite male singer? :/ this one might take a while (10 minutes later) That dude in Audioslave has a pretty good voice. (Chris Cornell??) I dunno, no one is really sticking out for me at the moment. hah. I'm sure I have a better one, just can't think right now Favourite female singer? Not even a question, Hayley Williams all the way. Oh wait... Debbie Harry is cool too... (woohoo for Blondie!) But Hayley's voice... aefirgoeuajw she wins. Favourite songwriter? Ooh... hmm Hayley/Josh and Andrew McMahon probably... Favourite drummer? Zac obv. Favourite guitarist? JOSH/TayTay/Jermz lol Favourite pianist? ANDREW FREAKING MCMAHON! Good god he's amazing! someone PLEASE explain to me how he does this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VruDY17s0lQ (about 15 seconds in) He's moving around like crazy and it still sounds amazing. What's your favourite genre of music? Rock/Alternative/anything that makes me dance. Do you play a musical instrument? Yep If so, what? I have an ipod sooooo 2,664 songs are 'in my CD player' Current playlist: titled 'Shtuff' and has anything from The Clash to Dropkick Murphys (and paramore...duh) What are your thoughts on pirating music? I don't really see anything wrong with downloading something you have... like if you have 'Pressure' by Paramore but you download a live version of the song or something. I don't see anything wrong with that because you did pay for the 'real' version. Or if it isn't something the band has available for purchase but has been recorded at a concert or something (thank you keepvid.com/vidtomp3.com! [thank you riot224 for intorducing me to vidtomp3.com lol]) Do you use a "legal" music downloading program (ex. RealTime Rhapsody)? Yep, iTunes. I buy hard copies of the really good stuff though. What is your favourite musical (stage)? uh... Beauty and the Beast cuz it's the only one I've seen... lol What is your favourite musical (movie)? My Fair Lady? I don;t know I haven't really seen many. (definitely NOT high school musical though. sehgruiehurqahwlfd) Do you tap your foot in time to music? Yep, people who tap off beat annoy me (but only if they think they're on beat and they think they look cool) Actually, I forgot I was driving the other day and I tapped my foot to the beat of the music while I was pressing the brake and my brake light lit up/turned off to the beat of the music... must have looked like a crazy person... hahahhahahahah I just laughed really hard... What song is the background music on your website/blog? Whatever you have playing on your own computer :P Are you a music spaz or just rhythmically inclined? Music spaz? well I'm more than rhythmically inclined, so I suppose that makes me a spaz haha. :) Yeah, apparently I can't answer a question without at least a little bit of explanation... haha. Hope you had fun reading <3 Emma

I Used to Know You... Ch 8
Chapter 8 only 2 more to go.
Bit of language in this one. Sorry so short. “Oh Josh!” Johanna said, climbing onto his lap so she was facing him. The two were in the back lounge with the door shut. Johanna’s two weeks on tour were finally up and she was…saying goodbye…to her boyfriend. Josh captured her lips in an intense kiss. She scratched his back lightly with her nails and gently bit his bottom lip causing him to moan. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him, planting kisses on her collarbone. Johanna grinned and dug her hips into his. “Oh Hayl – what the hell?” Josh said, wide eyed. Johanna froze. “What did you just say?” She asked, shutting her eyes in an attempt to calm herself down. “I – I don’t know…” Josh said, not believing whose name he had nearly said. “I knew it!” She screamed. “I knew you liked her!” She slapped him across the face. “You bastard!” “Ah!” Josh rubbed his cheek. Her nail had dug into him as she slapped him and he could feel a trickle of blood running down his face. “Jo! Wait!” He called after her as she stormed out of the room. “No! I’m sick of your excuses.” She yelled. “Goodbye Josh, we’re though.” She grabbed her bags and ran off the bus, tears streaming down her face. “Whoa! What’s going on?” Hayley hurried over to Johanna as she stepped off the bus. “Don’t fucking touch me!” Johanna screamed angrily. Hayley backed away, surprised and a bit scared. She watched as Johanna flagged down a taxi and left. “What the hell did you do Josh?” Hayley demanded when Josh emerged from the bus. “Oh my gosh!” She said when she saw the blood on his face. She quickly guided him back onto the bus. “Ouch!” Josh winced as Hayley pressed a wet paper towel to his face. She dabbed at his cut and cleaned it up. “Care to explain?” Jeremy asked. He Zac and Taylor had all been on the bus during Johanna’s outburst. “Uh…” Josh said. He didn’t particularly want to share the fact that he’d almost said Hayley’s name instead of Johanna’s. “She slapped me.” He said finally. “Obviously.” Zac rolled his eyes. “But why?” “She found the tape.” Josh lied quickly. “What tape?” Taylor asked. Josh glanced at Hayley, she looked absolutely furious. “What the hell Josh!” Hayley yelled. “You told me you destroyed it!” “Oh, that tape.” Zac whispered. “I guess I forgot…” Josh looked at the ground. He felt like a small child being scolded. “You FORGOT?!” Hayley screamed. “Well where the hell is it?” “I don’t know.” Josh admitted, still looking at the ground. Hayley looked like she might explode. “I’ll go look!” He said quickly, running for his bunk. “Great! Just fucking perfect!” Hayley fumed. “She probably took the thing with her!” “Hey, it’ll be ok.” Jeremy said, trying to calm her down. Hayley glared at him, making him back away a bit. “Here it is.” Josh said returning with the tape a few stressful minutes later. Hayley snatched it out of his hand, dropped it on the floor and smashed it with the heel of her foot. Once it was completely destroyed, she shoved past Josh, toward the bunks. “Hayley…” Josh said. “Don’t talk to me.” Hayley said in a dangerously quiet voice. She climbed into her bunk and ripped the curtains shut. Hayley didn’t think she had ever been so mad in her life. But at least she was officially over Joshua Farro. Uh oh! :P Update... Thursday?? Possibly sooner, we'll see

November 17, 2008I Used to Know You... ch. 7
Ok, early update cuz I'm bored. :)
If you're lucky, I'll still post another one tomorrow some time. (actually, I'll just let you know now, there will be another one posted tomorrow... lol) “Hey.” Josh yawned. He hadn’t been able to sleep and wandered to the front of the bus to find Hayley writing in her poetry book. “What are you doing up?” Hayley whispered. She looked at the clock. It was 4:30 in the morning. “Couldn’t sleep.” Josh answered, sitting next to her heavily. “You?” “Same.” She replied. “Working on anything good?” He asked, nodding to her journal. She quickly shut it and held it against her chest. “Not really. Just random stuff.” She said. “Oh.” Josh let his head fall backward against the wall of the bus. He was exhausted but every time he shut his eyes, he dreamt of Hayley. It was insanely frustrating. One night, Hayley would be falling off a cliff or running away from him, the next she’d simply be talking to him, like they did ages ago, before the most recent tour and before Johanna. It was maddening because, although it may have been blaringly obvious to some, he could not figure out what the dreams meant. “Josh?” Hayley waived her hand in front of his face. “Hmm?” He snapped his head up and faced her. “I asked if you wanted some tea.” She giggled, holding her mug out. “Oh. No thanks.” Josh said with a yawn. He couldn’t take his eyes off her. Hayley bit her lip. She couldn’t quite read Josh’s facial expression. His eyes were sparkling, almost as if he was very happy to be near her, but he was frowning. Hayley mentally shook herself. No, he was not thinking of her, she was just wishing. Josh inched closer to her, not knowing what had come over him, and opened his mouth to speak. Here it was. Hayley grinned. Josh was going to admit he liked her. “Uh…movie?” He said quickly. She shook her head in disappointment and grew angry with herself. Of course he didn’t like her, what was she thinking. “Nah, I should get to bed.” She sighed. “Right.” Josh whispered. His face was still dangerously close to hers. He began moving his head closer again. “Where’s your lip ring?” Hayley asked, noticing the distinct lack of metal on his perfect lips. Josh jumped away. “Uh, I took it out.” He said, raising a finger to the small hole in his lip where the silver metal used to be. “Why?” Hayley asked, almost dreading the answer. “Johanna says I look better without it.” Josh said. Hayley closed her eyes. That was what she was afraid of. “Josh, that lip ring was you. It’s who you were!” She said. “I’m getting a little old for a lip ring I think.” Josh shrugged. Hayley shook her head in disappointment. “What?” He asked. “You’re letting her change you.” Hayley whispered. “The old Josh would never ignore his friends and the old Josh would never have given up the lip ring.” Before Josh had a chance to reply, or get angry, Hayley was gone. A few days later, Josh wandered around the hallways of the latest venue, enjoying some time to himself and thinking about what Hayley had said. He had barely spoken two words to her since that night and, as much as he hated to admit it, he was starting to see what she was talking about. He heard faint piano music and subconsciously headed toward the noise. He smiled as he heard a sweet voice accompany the music and instantly recognized it as Hayley’s. He found the room she was playing in and snuck in behind her. He sat down and closed his eyes, enjoying the beautiful music. It was a very slow song, with a brilliant and complicated piano part. It obviously wasn’t finished, as Hayley hummed parts that did not yet have words. “How did we get here? I used to know you so well.” She sang. She then hummed until she reached the next verse. “The truth is hiding in your eyes, and it’s hanging on your tongue. Just boiling in my blood.” She sang, followed by more humming. Josh instantly thought of the night he’d talked with her on the bus. The night he, for some unknown reason, had nearly kissed her. “I’m screaming I love you so.” She sang. “How did we get here? I used to know you so well.” Josh jumped up and hurried out of the room before she noticed him. The more he thought about it, the more everything made sense. Hayley had suddenly become awkward around him. And when he really though about it, he remembered Bekah poking and shoving Hayley toward him the day they left for the tour. Hayley had looked so nervous and excited until Johanna had come over. He frowned as he remembered Hayley’s face falling when he introduced Johanna as his girlfriend. “Shit.” He muttered. Now he had to help Hayley get over him. He didn’t want to deal with this. After the show that night, Josh felt awful. All he wanted to do was get on the bus and lay down. Hayley, Zac, Jeremy and Taylor of course had other plans. They were all outside chatting with fans. “Josh!” Hayley said when she saw him exit the venue. “Not now.” He said, rubbing his stomach and closing his eyes. “I want you to meet Colin real quick.” Hayley motioned for him to come over. Josh sighed and took a few deep breaths to calm his stomach. “Hey.” He said quietly. “Look, I’m really not feeling to well.” Josh said. “Josh, this is Colin, he’s really cool.” Hayley said pointing to a fan that looked to be about Josh’s age. Josh nodded a greeting before running to the nearest trash can with his hand over his mouth. “Whoa!” Taylor said as Josh sped past him. “Aww.” Hayley frowned, she felt bad for Josh, she knew how much he hated being ill. After a few seconds, Taylor jogged after him. “Dude, you ok?” Taylor asked as Josh wiped the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. “Yeah, I feel a lot better now actually.” Josh said shakily. “Head banging and burritos don’t mix.” He added with a small smile. “I’m gonna go brush my teeth and lay down.” Taylor nodded and headed back to the crowd. “Is he ok?” A fan asked. “Yeah, bad burritos.” Taylor smiled. “Aw, poor Josh.” Hayley bit her lip. She wanted to go after him to make sure he was ok but she forced herself to stay. She needed to keep away from him if she was ever going to move on. “So Hayley…” Colin said, flashing a grin. I swear this was written before I knew there was an acoustic version of Decode. haha. Fun fact for those who didn’t know: Taylor was the one who recorded the piano part in the acoustic version of Decode :) Only 3 chapters left!

November 16, 2008I Used to Know You... Ch. 6
More awkward Joshayley moments… :) So much fun.
“It’s Thursday!” Hayley said. “You know what that means.” She looked at Josh. They had just finished eating dinner and were walking back to the bus. “What?” Johanna asked curiously, appearing beside Josh. Hayley frowned, Johanna seemed to be attached to his hip. She’d been there almost a week now and she was finally beginning to get on Hayley’s nerves. “Movie night.” Hayley grinned again. “Josh and I always watch movies on Thursdays.” She was happy to finally have some alone time with Josh. Now that Johanna was here, she never got to talk to him. “Uh, not tonight Hayls.” Josh said. Hayley’s grin faded. “Why?” She asked. “I thought I’d take Johanna out somewhere or something.” Josh grinned at his girlfriend. “Oh! Date night!” Johanna giggled. “That can be what Thursdays are for from now on!” “Whatever.” Hayley spat. She stormed off to the bus angrily. She hopped in her bunk, ignoring stares from Jeremy, Zac and Taylor, put her headphones on and blasted her iPod. “Hayley?” Josh said, pulling back the curtain to her bunk. She flipped over so her back was facing him. He saw her iPod sitting on the bunk and pressed pause. Hayley sighed and turned to face him. She held out her hand for the mp3 player, but Josh didn’t return it. “Come on.” He said, grabbing her hand and hauling her out of her bunk. “Be back in a sec babe.” Josh said to Johanna as he dragged Hayley off the bus. “What?” Hayley demanded when they stepped outside into the cool night air. “What is your problem?” Josh asked. Hayley raised her eyebrows. “What’s my problem?” She laughed. “Nothing.” Josh sighed. “Come on Hayley. What’s going on?” He pressed. “Thursday nights have always been movie nights Josh!” She cried in frustration. “One skip isn’t going to make a difference.” Josh said. “We can watch two next week to make up for it.” “That’s not the point!” Hayley said. Josh waited expectantly. “I never get to see you anymore.” Hayley sighed. “And we hardly talk at all.” “We’re talking now.” Josh pointed out. She laughed sarcastically. “Not exactly.” She said. “Look, I have a girlfriend now.” Josh said. “I want to spend time with her.” “You two spend every waking moment together!” Hayley nearly screamed. “You never do that. You always need time away from people.” “Well, I really like her. Things can change.” Josh said. “Or, she wants to be near you 24/7 and you just put up with it!” Hayley said angrily. “Gosh! Grow some balls!” She added. Josh’s eyes narrowed. Hayley closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “Sorry. I didn’t mean it to come out like that.” She said. Josh didn’t speak, he looked angry. “Look, all I'm asking for is for you to spend some time with the rest of us.” She said quietly. “You haven’t even played foosball with Zac since she got here.” Josh loved foosball, and he loved beating Zac at foosball even more. Josh sighed and nodded. “Yeah, ok.” He said. Hayley turned and headed back for her bunk. She grabbed her laptop and logged on to talk to Bekah. ~*~*~*~ Once they reached the next venue, Josh headed to the nearest fast-food restaurant to find some lunch. After getting his food, he walked back to the bus, eating his order of fries along the way. “So, did you tell him?” Josh stopped walking when he heard Sarah’s muffled voice on speakerphone. “Nah, I found out he has a girlfriend.” Hayley replied. She was around the corner of the building Josh was walking past. “Oh, I’m sorry hun!” Sarah said. “Its ok, life goes on.” Hayley said. Josh could practically hear the forced smile. He turned the corner, pretending he hadn’t heard anything. “Oh, hey Josh!” Hayley said, blushing slightly. “He’s there?!” Sarah asked. Hayley quickly took the phone off speakerphone with a laugh. “Hey.” He said slowly. Now he was curious to find out who they had been talking about and why Hayley didn’t want him to hear. “See you in a bit.” Hayley said to him. She held the phone to her ear and walked away, laughing to Sarah. “Mm I love your muscles!” Johanna said, pulling Josh on top of her. He kissed her hard on the mouth and dug his hips into hers. She bit and sucked at his neck leaving a few small marks along the way. “Whoa!” Hayley backed out of the room as she and the rest of the band discovered the two on the couch. Josh immediately jumped off Johanna. “Oh come on you two!” Zac complained. “That’s ok in the privacy of your own bedroom.” “Or basement.” Taylor added quietly and laughed. Josh blushed. “But,” Zac continued, “not in the stinkin’ dressing room.” “Sorry.” Josh muttered, looking at the floor. “Bad Josh.” Jeremy joked. “Where’d Hayley go?” Taylor said, looking around. “Dunno.” Zac said, sitting on the couch in the small dressing room. “I’m gonna go grab my show clothes.” Josh excused himself from the room and headed for the bus. He opened the door that led to the bunks and came face to face with Hayley. She stood in her bra, halfway through pulling her jeans on. “Josh!” She shrieked, grabbing her shirt to cover up. “Shit! Sorry!” He covered his eyes and backed out of the room, hitting the door painfully on his way out. Hayley quickly finished changing and took a deep breath before opening the door. Josh was sitting on the couch in the front lounge staring at the tiled floor. “Uh, hi.” Hayley said quietly. “I’m so sorry!” He said instantly. “I had no idea you were in there.” “It’s ok.” Hayley laughed. “It’s not like I was naked.” Josh laughed. “Well…” He started. “Pervert.” Hayley laughed, throwing a pillow at him. “Come on, we got a show to play.” “Uh, yeah. I’ll be out in a sec.” Josh smiled. Hayley nodded and left him alone. “What the hell.” Josh muttered to himself. “I can not be turned on by my best friend.” He shook his head. He was a guy, she was a girl, and it was only natural to feel lust toward girls in general. “Lust, that’s all it was.” He told himself repeatedly. He wasn’t entirely convinced that lust is what he had felt, but he forced his brain to re-label the feeling as lust, for fear he would discover how he really felt about his best friend. It couldn’t possibly be love he felt… no, no, it was lust. He was sure of it. After the show, Josh and Jeremy jumped around the dressing room, expelling all their extra energy. “Josh, we need to talk.” Johanna said, entering the room. “Yeah sure.” Josh smiled. He followed her into the hallway. “I was trying to record the show with your camera.” She began. “What? That thing cost me fifteen hundred bucks!” Josh said angrily. “You let Hayley and Taylor use it.” Johanna spat. Josh bit his tongue, holding back his urge to argue. “Whatever.” Josh sighed, still furious she’d used it without his permission. “I found something interesting on a tape.” She said quietly. “What?” Josh asked. “You and her.” Johanna spat. “What are you talking – oh.” Josh said, realizing what tape she was talking about. He hadn’t had a chance to destroy the tape of he and Hayley in their time off so he’d stowed it in his bunk. Johanna must have found it and assumed it was blank. “Look, Jo, that was years ago. I don’t like her like that anymore.” Josh assured. Johanna raised an eyebrow. “You sure liked her back then! You never kiss me that way.” Johanna said, crossing her arms. “And if you don’t like her, why do you still have a tape of it?” “Are you serious right now? That was ages ago! I love you now.” Josh said. Johanna and Josh both froze. “You…love me?” She asked with a smile. “Uh…Yeah.” He said quietly. “I love you Johanna.” He said. “Oh Josh! I love you too!” She smiled and flung her arms around him. Sorry so short. Update Tuesday.

November 14, 2008I Used to Know You... ch. 5
Eh. Just sorta threw this part together and I can't bring myself to proof-read, sorry for any grammar/spelling mistakes.
As much as she hated to admit it, Hayley was actually sort of getting along with Johanna. She had only arrived the previous night but Hayley found it surprisingly nice to have another girl on tour to talk to. It definitely sucked to see Johanna and Josh together, but Hayley was slowly starting to get over it and feel like her old self again. The guys on the other hand, weren’t big fans. Johanna was nice, but she always had to be right, she had a slight attention problem and she seemed to be slightly bi-polar at times. “I love New York!” Johanna said as she stepped off the bus. “Too bad we’re in Jersey then.” Zac said, trying not to laugh. “I know that!” Johanna snapped. “I was just saying that I like New York.” Hayley raised an eyebrow. “So, shopping?” She asked. “Totally!” Johanna grinned, forgetting to be angry with Zac. She kissed Josh quickly and followed Hayley down the street. “Zac can be so annoying!” Johanna complained as they walked down the road. “I like him.” Hayley said. “Oh my god! Really?” Johanna said excitedly. “As a friend, yeah.” Hayley said slowly. “Oh, right, sorry.” Johanna smiled. “How awesome would that be though! We could be like…sisters or something!” “Right.” Hayley laughed. “That would be nasty.” She said. “The Zac thing I mean.” “Yeah.” Johanna agreed. “Oh! You should totally get that dress!” Johanna pointed to a pretty green dress in a shop window. “I'm not really a dress person.” Hayley said. Johanna ignored her and dragged her into the shop. In the end, Hayley bought the dress just to shut Johanna up. It was fairly inexpensive and she figured she would never actually have to wear it. “Did you have fun?” Josh asked when the girls returned. “Mmhmm!” Johanna nodded, smothering Josh in kisses. “Aw come on! Not in front of everyone!” Zac whined. “Hayley got the cutest dress ever!” Johanna said suddenly. “Oh! Fashion show!” She dragged Hayley into the small bathroom on the bus, ignoring her complaints. “Jo, come on, I’m not doing this!” Hayley said, leaving the bathroom. “Please! You look so pretty!” Johanna pouted. “Yeah, come on Hayley!” Taylor smirked. She scowled at him. “Don’t we have sound check soon?” Hayley asked. “No show tonight.” Jeremy said. Hayley glared at him “Sorry.” He laughed. “Alright, no more excuses, come on.” Johanna dragged Hayley back into the bathroom and helped her change into the dress. Once she was changed, Johanna exited the bathroom and faced the boys. “Ok, allow me to introduce the beautiful Hayley Williams!” Johanna announced, waiving her arms wildly. “Hayley?” She looked around. “I’m not doing this!” Hayley called from the bathroom. “Oh come on!” Johanna begged. “Come on out Hayls.” Jeremy said. “The sooner you get it over with, the sooner you can change.” “Hayley! Hayley! Hayley!” Taylor and Zac chanted. “Ok, but no laughing!” Hayley warned. “You look gorgeous! They won’t laugh.” Johanna smiled. The door opened and Hayley timidly stepped out. The dress was a bit more revealing than anything she had previously owned, but it showed off her body beautifully. “Wow.” Zac said with a small laugh. “No laughing!” Hayley scolded. “Lookin’ good Hayley!” Taylor grinned. Hayley rolled her eyes. “He’s right. You don’t look half bad.” Jeremy said. “Shut up.” Hayley laughed. She looked at Josh. His eyes were somewhat wider than normal and his mouth was hanging open slightly, in apparent shock. “What do you think babe?” Johanna asked. Josh cleared his throat. “Uh, yeah. Not bad.” He smiled genuinely. Hayley felt herself blush. “Ok enough. I can’t believe I let you talk me into this!” Hayley hurried back into the bathroom and changed quickly. ~*~*~ Josh sighed looked around. Paramore had returned back to Franklin a week ago and he was at some stupid dance. He would rather have been anywhere else, but Johanna wanted to go. And if Johanna wanted something, she got it. A few moments after arriving at the dance, Johanna had left his side to dance with a few friends. He wallowed in self-pity for a few moments before he spotted Hayley sitting along a wall alone. “This is stupid.” Hayley sighed as he approached. “Yep.” Josh agreed, sitting next to her. He loosened his tie. “I hate dances.” She rested her head on his shoulder. “And stuffy clothes.” She pulled at her dress. It was the pretty one she’d bought with Johanna in New Jersey. “Hey! Everyone has to dance!” Zac walked over, noticing the two were sitting down. He grabbed each one of them by the arm and pulled them up. “You’re not dancing.” Josh pointed out. “Yes he is!” Hannah, one of Zac’s friends, put her arm around Zac’s waist and dragged him back to the dance floor as a slow song began playing. “Dance!” Zac yelled over his shoulder. Josh looked at Hayley and shrugged. “Do you want to?” Josh asked. Hayley bit her lip and nodded slowly. Josh placed his hands on her waist lightly and she placed her arms around his neck. After a few seconds, both began to relax and Hayley rested her head on his shoulder. Josh closed his eyes, enjoying the moment. “Hayley?” Josh whispered. “Hmm?” She looked up at him. He slowly bent down and captured her lips in a sweet kiss. He didn't know what had come over him and he didn't care, it felt too right to care. “Josh?” Hayley said, backing away. “Hayley no!” Josh reached for her. “Please!” He begged as she fled. “Josh!” She called over her shoulder. “Come back!” he said. “Joshieeeeeeee.” Josh opened his eyes and jumped when he saw Johanna’s face inches from his own. “I’ve been trying to wake you up for a few minutes now.” She smiled. “Oh.” He said, slightly confused. He was laying in his bunk on the tour bus, nowhere near Franklin. He raised his fingers to his lips, his dream had felt so real. “Were you dreaming?” She asked. He nodded, blushing slightly. “About me?” She smiled. “Uh, yeah.” He replied, clearing his throat. He couldn't bring himself to look her in the eyes, but she didn't seem to notice. “Aww!” She kissed his forehead. “Well, I guess you have sound check in a half hour, so I’m here to wake you up.” “Seriously? I slept in that late?” Josh jumped out of his bunk. He grabbed some clothes and headed to the front of the bus. “Hey sleepy head.” Hayley smiled when she spotted Josh. His face went bright red and he quickly locked himself in the bathroom to change. “What was that?” Jeremy laughed. “No clue.” Hayley shrugged. Kinda boring/short. Sorry. Might get another chapter up this weekend, we'll see...

November 13, 2008I Used To Know You... ch. 4
Enjoy. Kinda boring for now though. Next chapter is slightly more interesting.
“Go!” Bekah gently shoved Hayley toward Josh. The band was leaving for yet another tour and Bekah had somehow convinced Hayley to talk to Josh about what she was feeling. Hayley groaned. “Do I have to?” She asked. “Yes. Go!” Bekah gently poked Hayley’s back, making Josh raise an eyebrow. “Hey.” Josh said as Hayley approached. “Bekah beating you up again?” He asked. Hayley laughed and nodded nervously. “You ready for this?” She said with a smile, gesturing to the bus and luggage. “Yeah, it’s only been a month but I kinda miss touring.” He replied. “Me too.” Hayley agreed. “Did you get a chance to burn the you-know-what?” “Huh?” Josh asked. “Oh the tape! Don’t worry about it.” “Ok.” Hayley smiled. “Anything new in the last month? I can’t believe I didn’t get to see you. It seems like everyone else did.” Josh said. Hayley looked away, she had sort have been avoiding him. “I guess we’ve both been busy.” She said. “Nothing new though, same old Hayley.” She shrugged. “You?” “Nah.” Josh said. “Well, yeah actually…kind of.” “Oh, what?” Hayley asked. “Hey, come here a sec.” Josh said to someone behind Hayley. She turned to see a girl walking over. “Hey Josh.” She said, standing next to him. He wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her on the cheek. “Hayley, this is Johanna, my girlfriend.” Josh smiled. Hayley felt her heart sink. “Uh hi.” She said quietly, shaking Johanna’s hand politely. Hayley looked her over. She was pretty and dressed well. She could not immediately find anything to hate about Johanna besides the fact that she was dating Josh. “I’m gonna miss you baby.” Johanna said, pouting at Josh. “I’m gonna miss you too.” Josh pulled her close. “But I promise you can come out to visit.” He leaned in and kissed her. Hayley turned quickly and hurried back over to Bekah so she wouldn’t have to watch. “That ass!” Bekah fumed when Hayley returned. “It’s ok.” Hayley sighed. “Better off this way anyway.” She forced a smile. Bekah hugged her tightly. “Sorry hun.” Bekah whispered. Hayley shrugged. “No big deal…” She sighed and turned to leave. “Don’t give up hope yet.” Bekah advised as Hayley stepped onto the tour bus. A week later, Hayley sat in the front lounge trying to get online. Josh sat next to her on his Nintendo DS playing one of his games. Every once and a while, he would get overly excited and start pounding buttons like mad, jamming his elbow into Hayley’s arm in the process. Every time this happened, she giggled and elbowed him back. “Hey! I’m trying to play my game!” Josh complained as Hayley once again elbowed him. “Don’t elbow me, and I wont elbow you back.” She said simply. Josh stuck his tongue out at her and elbowed her lightly. “Oh that’s it Farro!” Hayley laughed. She set her laptop on the table and poked him hard in the side. “Ah!” He laughed. “That hurt!” “Good!” Hayley laughed. Josh went to poke her again but was interrupted by his phone ringing. “Oh, be right back, that’s Johanna.” He stood and answered his phone. Hayley frowned. She was quickly realizing that Josh would always ditch her when it came to Johanna. The other night, they planned to go out to dinner but Johanna called, wanting to talk to Josh. So, without a second thought, Josh immediately headed for the back lounge to talk with her, leaving Hayley to eat alone. Thankfully Johanna wasn’t actually on tour with them or Hayley would never get to see him. “Hey Hayley.” Zac said, appearing from his bunk. “Sleep well?” Hayley asked. Zac nodded and headed into the bathroom. “Half hour till sound check!” Will, the assistant tour manager, announced. “Ok.” Hayley said. “I think Jerm and T are out riding bikes.” “Alright, I’ll go find them.” Will said, disappearing off the bus. Hayley stood to find Josh. He was in the back lounge facing away from her, still on the phone. She smiled as she got near enough to smell his cologne, before mentally slapping herself. She was supposed to be getting over Josh! Not smelling him. She reached out and tapped his shoulder lightly. He spun around quickly, surprised. “Sound check soon.” Hayley whispered. Josh nodded in understanding. Johanna seemed to be doing all the talking, Josh couldn’t get a word in edge wise. Hayley laughed to herself and headed back to the front of the bus where she found Zac eating a bowl of cereal. “Hey would you guys mind if Johanna came out for a few days?” Josh asked, returning to the front. “Sure.” Zac said through a mouthful of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. “Cool, she’ll be here in two days.” Josh grinned. Hayley raised an eyebrow. She didn’t even get a say. “So what would you have done if Zac had said no?” Hayley asked. Josh shrugged. “Probably would have snuck her on or something.” He replied. “Nice.” Hayley said under her breath. She shook her head and hurried off the bus. “Johanna comes tomorrow!” Josh said happily as he entered the front lounge for breakfast. “Sweet.” Jeremy said. Josh sat down heavily next to Hayley and poured some cereal. “You ok Hayley?” Josh asked as Hayley inched away from him. “You’ve been really quiet recently.” “I’m fine.” Hayley said. Josh stared at her, unconvinced. Hayley shrugged. “Seriously, I’m perfectly fine.” She said, standing up and heading for her bunk. “She’s not fine.” Jeremy said once she was out of earshot. Zac and Taylor nodded in agreement. “Anyone know what’s bugging her?” Josh asked. He got no answer. I just rewrote the last few chapters... I'm kinda liking it from ch. 6 on. :)

I Used to Know You... ch. 3
Meh… It’s kinda short.
“Spill!” Sarah said excitedly the next time she and Hayley were alone. Hayley groaned and recounted what was on the tape. “Oh my gosh!” Sarah laughed as Hayley finished. “Where did he put the tape anyway?” “I don’t know.” Hayley admitted. “He says it’s somewhere safe.” “It had better be safe! What if it gets out?” Sarah asked quickly. “It won’t.” Hayley assured. “Josh wont tell anyone where he put it and he’s gonna burn it the first chance he gets.” “He’d better do it quick hun!” Sarah advised. Hayley nodded in agreement. “You look completely miserable.” Sarah said, placing her hand on Hayley’s shoulder. Hayley sighed. “I think I like him.” She said quietly. “What?!” Sarah nearly yelled. “Quiet!” Hayley hushed as Jeremy looked over. “Sorry.” Sarah whispered. “But seriously?” Hayley nodded, covering her face with her hands. “This is crazy! I can’t like him!” She groaned. Sarah grinned broadly. “No! This is great! You two were so cute together!” She assured. Hayley raised an eyebrow. “Oh come on! You know you were.” Sarah laughed. “I don’t know, maybe it was just seeing the tape and remembering how we used to be.” Hayley sighed, trying to convince herself that was true. “I don’t know.” Sarah said skeptically. “Hey, can I steal Sarah yet?” Jeremy walked over, wrapping is arm around his girlfriend. “Sure.” Hayley said, eager to end their conversation and stop thinking about Josh. “Talk to him!” Sarah mouthed as Jeremy dragged her away. “Man, I need a girlfriend.” Josh sighed. “We all do.” Zac said. “If as in ‘all’ you mean you two, then yeah you do.” Taylor laughed. “What?” Zac said. “Who are you dating?” “I told you!” Taylor said. “Mel.” “Oh right, sorry dude.” Zac laid back against the couch on their bus. “Got your eye on anyone Josh?” Taylor asked. “Nope.” Josh said. “Most girls I like don’t like me back.” “Oh come on! What’s not to like?” Zac asked. “You’re in a band and you play guitar like nobody’s business.” “Thanks… I think…” Josh laughed. “But yeah, I guess that stuff doesn’t matter. At least not to the girls I like…” He said. “Which girls?” Taylor prodded. “Hayley-like girls!” Zac joked. Taylor laughed. Josh laughed and felt a peculiar blush appear high on his cheeks though he wasn’t sure why. “No, seriously what girls?” Taylor asked. “Hey dudes, Jeremy Sarah and I are going out for dinner, you in?” Hayley asked as she walked onto the bus. Josh sighed in relief and stood up. “I’m starved!” He said, walking toward the exit. That night, Josh’s dreams were filled with a certain redheaded girl. He woke with a start as dream Hayley fell off a cliff. He bumped his head against the bunk above him, making a horrible cracking noise. “Ah!” He rubbed his head, trying to dull the pain. He tried to remember why he woke up. Why was he dreaming about Hayley? He never dreamed about his band mates. He shrugged it off and quickly fell back asleep. ~*~*~*~ When the band returned from Warped, they all went their separate ways for a few weeks. Hayley had managed to push most thoughts of Josh from her mind and was happy to find that now when she did think about him, she felt friendly feelings, not romantic ones. She didn’t like him. Thank goodness. She walked to the nearest Starbucks to meet with a few friends and spotted a rather handsome man facing away from her at the register, ordering a drink. She found Bekah at a table in the corner and made her way over. “Hey Hayley!” Bekah greeted. Hayley gave her best friend a hug. “The others should be here soon.” Bekah informed as the two hopped in line, only a few people behind the man with the cute butt. Hayley tried not to stare while simultaneously trying to get Bekah’s attention to point out the guy. It was no use, Bekah was going on about what Hayley had missed while she was on tour. Hayley sighed at her friend’s ignorance and cut her story short. “Bekah, did you see…” Hayley whispered, aiming to point out the guy. Her heart skipped a beat as cute-butt-man turned around. …it was Josh. “Shit.” She muttered. Bekah looked confused. “Hayley! Hey.” Josh smiled. Hayley felt a wave of anger wash over her as Josh neared them. “Hey Bekah.” Josh smiled. “Hi Josh.” Hayley said, a bit of anger coming through in her voice. Josh raised an eyebrow at Bekah, who shrugged back. “What are you to ordering? I’ll pay.” Josh said with a smile. “I have my own money, thanks.” Hayley snapped. “What’s wrong with you?” Josh asked, offended. “Nothing, sorry.” Hayley sighed. She placed her order, followed by Bekah, and allowed Josh to pay. “Thanks.” She said quietly, taking her drink from Josh. “Are you sure you’re ok?” Josh said, pulling her aside. “I'm fine. Just a…bad day.” Hayley sighed. Josh frowned, but accepted her response. “Ok, well I have to go. I’ll see you next week, we’ll talk more then.” He hugged her. He waived to Bekah as he left the shop. “Ok, what is going on with you?” Bekah said as Hayley returned to the table. “I think I’m in trouble…” Hayley sighed, taking her seat. I'll probably do another post sometime today because I kind of want this fic to get over with. Although, I'll admit, it's kinda started to grow on me... a little teeny bit... sorta

November 11, 2008I Used To Know You... Ch. 2
I'm in a good mood today, so here's chapter 2. lol
Not too sure about this one… It’s probably not particularly necessary but oh well. Recap: “Zac recorded us…back when we used to, uh, date.” Josh said quietly. “For the last time! I did not!” Zac yelled. “Recorded us doing what?” Hayley asked suspiciously. “Kissing.” Josh said almost inaudibly. “Oh dude!” Jeremy laughed. Hayley went bright red. “I didn’t do it!” Zac said to Hayley. “I swear! That’s just wrong. Why would I do that?” “Because you’re a fucking pervert!” Josh started yelling again. “Everybody quiet!” Hayley yelled. “Josh, what happened? Where is this recording?” “It’s on one of the tapes. I was trying to find a blank one for you to use and I found it.” He replied, looking at the floor. “Why do you assume Zac did it?” Sarah asked. “Who else would?” Josh looked up. “That’s disgusting! I would never do that!” Zac yelled. “It was probably you!” With that, Josh lunged forward and tackled Zac. “Hey!” Hayley shouted, attempting to pull Josh off his brother and not get punched in the crossfire. Jeremy cut in and hauled Josh off. “That’s enough.” Jeremy scolded. Zac was curled in a ball on the floor laughing while Josh’s face was red with anger. “Dude! What’s the big deal?” Zac said. Pulling himself up off the floor. “It’s just a kiss.” He continued. “Hey!” Taylor stuck an arm out to keep Josh from pummeling Zac again. “Zac, stop.” Hayley ordered. “Look, when have I ever touched a video camera?” Zac asked. “If you watch it from the beginning, I bet you’ll see it wasn’t me.” Josh grumbled at this. “Let me see it.” Hayley said. “Hayley…” Josh started. “Josh, if I watch it, the arguments will stop.” Hayley said, face still red in embarrassment. “Oh I have to see this!” Jeremy laughed. “No, you really don’t” Josh corrected. Taylor made a chance dive for Josh’s bunk, grabbing the tape. He ran to the front of the bus with it. “Wrong tape pervert!” Josh yelled after him. “Aw.” Taylor walked back, head hung low. “I don’t really want to see it anyway.” He tossed the tape back onto the bed. “You probably helped him record it.” Josh muttered. “I didn’t do it!” Zac roared. “Ok, look.” Josh walked to his bunk, inserted the tape into the camera and attached it to his computer. “Wait, no.” He changed his mind as the video began loading. “Don’t look.” He carried his laptop and the camera to the back lounge, closing the door behind him. “Hey!” Hayley cried running after him. “What?” Josh stuck his head back out. “I don’t want you watching that!” She said. He rolled his eyes. “It’s not like I wasn’t there.” He said. “Ugh. Well you ain’t watchin’ it alone! You’ll say Zac did it no matter what actually happened.” She sighed and elbowed her way in, closing the door behind her. They each took a seat on the couch and Josh held the laptop on his lap and waited for the tape to finish loading to the computer When the tape finished loading, Josh pressed play. [This part might get a little confusing. The -----s separate present day from what’s on the tape] ----- “I can’t make this thing record!” Zac complained from behind the camera. “Oh there it goes, never mind.” The picture steadied as the camera was placed on some sort of flat surface. It faced a wall in the Farro basement where all sorts of musical equipment was set up. A very young looking Zac took a seat behind his drums while Jeremy, Josh and Jason stepped into the picture with their guitars. “You coming Hayley?” Jason called. “Yep!” Hayley bounced into the picture holding a microphone. ----- “Oh my gosh!” Hayley laughed. “We were so young! Listen to Zac’s voice! It’s keeps cracking.” She laughed at the computer screen. “Oh the joys of puberty!” Josh laughed. “Man, you must be what? 15? 16 maybe?” Josh noticed. Hayley nodded. “Wow, it’s been so long since I talked to Jason, I wonder how he’s doing.” Josh smiled as Jason hopped up and down playing his guitar. “Oh lord, we sound awful!” Hayley laughed, listening to the music come from the small speakers on the laptop. Josh pressed fast forward for a few seconds before allowing it to play again. ----- “No! No. NO!” 17-year-old Josh yelled. “Zac, pay attention, you keep speeding up and slowing down.” “Dude, I don’t think any of us are focused right now.” Jason said. “This is stupid.” Jeremy said. “I want a milkshake.” He added thoughtfully. Hayley laughed. “Me too!” Zac said excitedly. Josh groaned. “I say we call it a day.” Jason said. “We just started!” Josh complained. “How about we meet again tomorrow and on Thursday.” Hayley compromised. “To make up for today.” “Whatever.” Josh gave in. “Yes!” Zac cheered. He ran to the video camera and picked it up. “This camera sucks!” He said after fumbling with it. “I keep hitting the button but it won’t stop recording.” The picture went blue and the sound cut out. “Finally!” Zac’s voice returned as the picture came back on. “Dude, we need to get a camera that works.” The video stabilized as Zac placed the camera on a table facing the couch in the basement. “Did you get it to turn off?” Josh’s voice came from somewhere behind the couch. “Yep, milkshake time!” Zac ran up the stairs, followed by Jason and Jeremy. “I’ll help you clean up.” Hayley said. On occasion, Josh or Hayley would appear on the screen, but most of the time, the couch blocked them. ----- This is gonna get awkward.” Josh muttered, eyes glued to the computer. Hayley nodded in agreement. She adjusted the angle of the screen so she had a better view. ----- “You lovebirds coming?” Jeremy called from upstairs. “Nah, I’m gonna stay here.” Josh called back from the basement. “Me too, I’m gonna help clean up.” Hayley said. “Alright. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!” Jeremy called in a singsong voice. “Shut up.” Josh called back, obviously rolling his eyes. Hayley suddenly appeared in the picture as she sat down on the couch. “I’m so tired!” She said with a yawn. “Me too.” Josh agreed, sitting next to her. She rested her head on his shoulder. He smiled and put his arm around her looking a bit nervous. Hayley grinned and pulled her head up to look at him. She leaned forward and kissed him quickly on the lips. Josh smiled and kissed back. Hayley raised a hand and placed it on the back of his neck, kissing him passionately. “Mmm.” Josh smiled. “I love kissing you.” “And I love kissing you!” Hayley giggled. He leaned in for another kiss but Hayley backed away. Josh looked confused. “Did I do something?” He asked worriedly. “Nope, your just gonna have to work for it.” Hayley laughed. Josh grinned and leaned in again. Once more, Hayley pulled back. He tried pulling her toward him but she wriggled away, giggling. After a few more fruitless attempts, Josh decided he’d had enough with her little game and lunged on top of her. Hayley gasped in surprise as she fell backward onto the couch and his lips connected with hers. “Well there’s one way to do it.” She whispered. “Sorry.” Josh said embarrassed. He was laying on top of her, pinning her to the couch. He moved to get up but Hayley pulled him close, kissing slowly. Josh kissed back eagerly, combing his fingers through her hair. ----- Hayley covered her mouth and laughed as she watched her younger-self make out with Josh. Josh laughed along with her, face steadily becoming redder from embarrassment. ----- While still kissing him, 16-year-old Hayley pulled her knee upward so her leg was bent, in between Josh’s legs. Josh moaned quietly. She smiled and kissed his neck gently, leaving a small mark. He slowly began grinding his hips into hers, making her eyes flutter shut. She ran her hands along his sides and back causing him to speed up slightly. Josh raised his hand to cup her face and kissed her hard on the mouth. His tongue easily slid into her mouth, making her grin. After a few moments of heavy making out Josh stopped moving. “Hang on. Hang on.” He said breathlessly. He didn’t move an inch while he tried to get himself under control. Hayley giggled and buried her face in the crook of his neck. “Not helping!” Josh said quickly as he felt her light breath against his neck. “Sorry.” She pulled away. She studied his face. His eyes were shut and he was breathing heavily. “You good?” She asked as he let his head collapse on her shoulder. “I think so.” He nodded. He kissed her jaw lightly before moving to reach her lips again. Hayley grinned and kissed him slowly. “What the hell!” Josh suddenly jumped off of her. Hayley doubled over in laughter and pulled her vibrating cell phone out of her pocket. “That scared me!” Josh laughed. Hayley nodded and flipped the phone open. “Hello?” She said, trying not to laugh. “But we aren’t done with practice!” She lied, talking into the receiver. “Mom, please, just 20 more minutes.” She begged. “Alright, fine.” She sighed, ending the call and shoving the phone back into her pocket. “I have to go.” She informed. “I figured.” Josh sighed. He helped her up from the couch and led her to the stairs. The camera continued to film the couch as Hayley and Josh left the basement. ----- Josh pressed fast forward to see if there was anything left on the tape, like Zac coming to retrieve the camera, but found nothing. It had recorded the couch until the tape ran out of space. Once it was done playing, the two sat in silence. Josh cleared his throat, moving away from Hayley slightly. She quickly shuffled away from him as well. “That was…really awkward.” Josh said finally. Hayley nodded in agreement. “At least we know Zac didn’t do it.” She said. “Sort of.” He replied. Neither looked at the other, they were both more than a little embarrassed by the tape. “Anyway…” Hayley said after a few moments of silence. Josh turned his camera on and ejected the tape. “What do we do with this?” Josh said, holding the tape up. “Destroy it?” Hayley laughed. Josh nodded in agreement. “I mean how?” He asked. “Burn it!” Hayley replied. “Dude! We should have a bonfire when we get back home! And we could just toss it in when no one’s looking.” She said. Josh laughed. “Delete the copy that’s on your computer too.” Hayley said quickly as he prepared to shut it down. He dragged the file to the little trashcan icon on the desktop. “There, done.” He said. “Good.” Hayley smiled. She didn’t want any of the other guys finding it. “Alright lets get out of here.” He stood and opened the door, depositing the tape safely into his pocket. “Finally! I thought you two were making a sequel or something.” Taylor said as the two entered the front lounge. Both blushed. “Don’t be stupid T.” Josh said. “It’s been over for a while.” Hayley looked at the ground. “So what’s the verdict?” Jeremy asked. “Zac did it.” Josh said. “Accidentally!” Hayley added quickly as Zac opened his mouth to protest. Josh laughed. “We were recording one of our practices and apparently Zac, being as brilliant as he is, couldn’t figure out how to turn the camera off.” Josh explained. “So can we please forget this happened?’ Hayley sighed, sitting on the couch. “Nope.” Zac smiled. “We’re gonna torture you for the rest of your life.” Hayley kicked him hard in the leg. “Or we’re gonna forget about it.” Zac said, holding his leg in pain. And that’s as ‘sexy’ as this story gets. haha. get it out of the way early…

I Used to Know You... Ch. 1
I’m really not very happy with this story… I guess its good enough in my eyes, or else I wouldn’t be posting it, but its kind of fast paced and… meh. But it gives me time to think of ideas for new fics so yay. haha.
I don't like the title, so that will probably change if I can think of a better one. Anyone have any suggestions? One more thing, I should mention that this was written before Jeremy cut his hair. I love his new haircut, but I decided to keep his old haircut in this fic mainly because I like the phrase ‘sweet-a hair.’ (like ‘sweet ass’ but not?) haha good reasoning yes? You’ll see what I mean in this chapter… “Oh, what CD are we listening to?” Sarah asked as she and Hayley entered the bus. Josh had his iPod plugged into the stereo system on the bus and everyone was listening. “Warped ‘05” Zac informed. “That’s the one with the guy with the nice butt on the album cover!” Hayley grinned happily. “Say what?” Zac said. “Look.” Hayley grabbed the iPod and showed Sarah the album artwork on the screen. “See, nice butt.” She smiled. Sarah laughed and nodded in agreement. “Let me see.” Zac took the iPod from Hayley. He and Taylor took turns looking at the album cover. “Looks like Josh’s butt.” Taylor concluded with a laugh. “What?” Hayley grabbed the iPod to have a second look. “Hmm.” She said, handing the iPod back to Josh. “You think Josh has a cute butt!” Zac teased. “Uh, no.” Hayley laughed. “You said the guy on the cover of the CD has a cute butt and then you agreed that it looked like Josh’s.” Taylor pointed out. “I never said they looked alike!” She defended. “I don’t spend time looking at Josh’s ass.” “You know you want my body!” Josh said jokingly, running his hands down his sides. Hayley rolled her eyes and fought a curious blush that threatened to appear high on her cheeks. “Whatever.” She sighed. “Can I borrow your video camera?” She asked Josh. “Sarah and I are gonna meet up with Jerm at Maylene’s set and walk around the Warped campus to get some footage.” Josh always brought his video camera on tour to document, and this time around, Hayley had decided she wanted to help. “Sure, hold on a sec.” Josh wandered off to find the camera and a blank tape. After a few moments, Hayley heard him mutter something angrily and throw a tape onto his bunk mattress. “Here.” Josh said, shoving the camera into Hayley’s arms when he returned. “Ouch! What’s up?” Hayley asked. Josh looked extremely pissed off. “Sorry. Nothing, have fun.” Josh forced a smile. Hayley raised an eyebrow. “Zac, may I have a word?” He dragged his brother off the bus without waiting for a reply. Hayley looked at Taylor. “Don’t look at me! I don’t have any idea what he did.” Taylor shrugged. “Ok.” Hayley said. She grabbed Sarah’s hand and led her off the bus. When they exited, Hayley looked around for the Farros. “Over there.” Sarah pointed to a tree twenty yards away. Hayley could faintly hear Josh yell something about a tape and spying. Zac was yelling back, but she couldn’t hear what he was saying. “Brothers.” She shook her head. “You ready to go?” Sarah nodded. “Sweet.” Hayley turned on the camera. “This is the beautiful Sarah.” She narrated in a haughty voice, focusing the camera on Sarah. “We are about to find her the perfect mate.” Sarah laughed and put her hand in front of the camera. “So,” Hayley continued, “we know Sarah likes stylish men with sweet-A hair. Anything else we should know?” “Well, he’d have to know how to dance.” Sarah said, playing along. “And he’d have to know something about cars.” “Ah, so you find cars sexy?” Hayley giggled. Sarah laughed. “Yes, not as much as bass players though.” She said. “Stylish bass players with long hair who like cars are hot.” “Let’s set you up then!” Hayley took the camera off Sarah’s face and focused on various passers by. “Oh there’s one!” Hayley zoomed in on a rather large, sweaty security guard who was eating his lunch. He had greasy black hair that fell to his waist and a trucker hat on. “Hmm, not too bad. His name has to start with J though. No J is a deal breaker.” Sarah said. “Excuse me sir!” Hayley called out. The guard looked up. “Hayley!” Sarah’s eyes went wide. “What’s your name dude?” Hayley asked, ignoring Sarah. The guard looked around to be sure she was talking to him. “Uh, Charley.” He finally replied. “Oh, sorry. We were looking for a J.” Hayley frowned. “Have a good lunch though!” Charley looked thoroughly confused but continued his lunch. “I can not believe you just did that!” Sarah laughed as the girls continued their trek to main stage. Hayley held the camera toward the stage and zoomed all the way in. “I think we found you a man Sarah.” She focused the camera on the side of the stage where Jeremy was rocking out to Maylene and the Sons of Disaster’s set. “Oh! He’s pretty!” Sarah said with a laugh. “Let’s make it happen!” Hayley said as they reached the back of the stage. She pulled Sarah up the stairs, flashing her all-access pass to security, and walked over to Jeremy. “Hey dude!” She yelled over the music. She aimed the camera at Jeremy. “Hey.” Jeremy shouted back. “What’s your name?” Hayley asked. Jeremy didn’t miss a beat and played along, no questions asked. “Oh, I’m Jimmy-Bob, king of this here warped tour.” He said. “Sweet. I’d like you to meet my friend Sarah. She’s looking for a stylish bass player with sweet-ass hair, who likes cars and whose name begins with a J.” Hayley said. She focused the camera on Sarah who, at this point, was doubled over with laughter. “Well, lucky me! I fit that description! Jeremy said. He walked over to her purposefully, put his arm around her waist and kissed her. “Hi, I’m Jimmy-Bob.” He said when they broke for air. “Hey! I don’t kiss on the first date!” Sarah playfully slapped him. Hayley stopped recording and laughed. “That’s gonna be great!” She said. “She freaked out a security guard.” Sarah laughed. “I bet we get kicked out soon.” “That’s Hayley for ya.” Jeremy laughed. He pulled Sarah close to him and kissed the side of her head. “You two are freaking adorable!” Hayley grinned. “Hey. Do anything fun?” Taylor asked when Hayley, Sarah and Jeremy returned. “I played matchmaker and found Sarah her perfect man.” Hayley said. Taylor raised an eyebrow. “Luckily it was me.” Jeremy informed. “It’s gonna be a pretty awesome video once it’s edited.” Hayley laughed. “Where’s Zac and – ” “I swear I didn’t do it!” Zac came running from the back of the bus, simultaneously interrupting and answering Hayley’s question. “Didn’t do what?” She asked. “Zac!” Josh emerged from the back lounge, looking absolutely furious. “I didn’t!” Zac yelled. “They’ve been like this all afternoon.” Taylor groaned as the brothers began fighting again. “What happened?” Sarah yelled over the accusations and profanities flying from the Farro’s mouths. “Something about a recording of you two.” Taylor gestured toward Hayley and Josh. “Taylor! Shut the hell up!”” Josh yelled, momentarily forgetting he was supposed to be yelling at Zac. “What recording?” Hayley asked Josh. He sighed. “Nothing.” He said, turning back to Zac. “Josh.” Hayley put her hands on her hips, waiting for an explanation. “Zac recorded us…back when we used to, uh, date.” Josh said quietly. “For the last time! I did not!” Zac yelled. “Recorded us doing what?” Hayley asked suspiciously. “Kissing.” Josh said almost inaudibly. meh. I guess this chapter isn't too bad, others are much worse... And the official ruling isssssssssss....... ZAC FIC NEXT!! haha. Now I have to sit and think of what's gonna happen in it... Another Joshayley will follow the Zac one for those who want Joshayley. Holy crap, I have a lot of fics in the works... haha

Fic #1.5 hahaha
New fic up tomorrow. Josh/Hayley obv. No name yet. I probably should have thought of one before I posted this. Oh well. haha.
Just a warning, its pretty dang crappy and only 10 (or so) chapters long. I only really like the last two chapters... haha. I'm only posting it as a filler until I can get my next 'real one' going. For the next fic, would you guys prefer another Josh/Hayley or a Zac fic? I have one of each going and I don't know which one to post first. I think the Zac one would be relatively short and I have no idea about the Joshayley. I don't know where that's going yet. Well, I don't really know where either one is going yet... but I have more for the Zac one currently. haha Maybe I'll try both at once?? Eh that would get confusing... hmm we'll see I guess. Seriously though, please tell me your opinions on which one I should do!! haha P.S. why the crap is buzznet being so freaking slow/annoying? ugh. It's driving me insaneeeeee!!!

November 9, 2008Summer Skin: I Knew Your Heart I Couldn't Win
Just finished… did this instead of my essay for the longest time. haha. One shot for now… maybe a fic later? I don’t know, probably not.
Too freaking tired to go through and edit. Sorry for any grammar issues. I really like some parts. Other parts make me cringe. I'm super nervous about the reaction... haha. Sorry if it's not what you want... I like the beginning a lot, but it kinda goes downhill from there. :/ Anyway, ENJOY! Summer Skin
I Knew Your Heart I Couldn't Win (one shot) “To burn with desire and keep quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves.” Josh read the quote and scowled. Hayley had taken to writing a new ‘motivational quote’ on the small whiteboard in the front lounge of their tour bus daily. The boys mostly ignored the quotes, but every once and a while, one would strike a chord with them. Today’s quote shook Josh right to his inner core. How could she know exactly how he was feeling but be utterly oblivious to it at the same time? ~*~ He couldn’t keep his eyes off Her…Hayley, the beautiful goddess that was just out of his reach. She bounded around the stage with such energy and confidence, she clearly felt right at home in front of the thousands of fans. It was where she belonged, what she was meant to do. He watched her hips move as she danced along to the music and nearly melted when she sang her high notes flawlessly. In his mind, she had the voice of an angel. An angel he could never have. ~*~ “Josh?” Hayley asked after the show. “Hmm?” He replied. His mind was still in Hayley-land. “Are you alright?” She asked, reaching out and touching his arm. He felt a jolt run through his body and his eyes snapped shut. Her touch always put him on a high and he was sickeningly addicted. “Uh, fine.” He shook his head. “Just tired.” “Tired? We just played a show and you’re tired?” She said, unconvinced. Josh nodded. They piled on to the bus and Josh headed straight for his bunk. ~*~ That night, Josh couldn’t sleep. He tossed and turned, but it was no use. He finally sighed and pulled himself out of his bunk. He quietly walked to the front lounge, not bothering to find proper clothes, and turned on the satellite to see what was on television. Half an hour later, She poked her head out of the door that blocked the front lounge off from the bunks. “Josh? Why are you up?” Hayley said quietly. Josh jumped in fright, but smiled at the sound of her voice. “Can’t sleep.” He said casually. “Did I wake you?” She shook her head and sat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. He smiled and put an arm around her, heart soaring, before turning his attention back to Family Guy. Something gleaming caught Josh’s eye as the light from the television screen bounced off the walls. He turned his head slightly to see what it was. The whiteboard glowed back at him, showing him that stupid quote. He tried ignoring it, but his mind kept screaming ‘tell her!’ He weighed his options. On one hand, he had kept his secret so long he felt part of him was being eaten away. He was quiet around her now, more reserved for fear he’d let himself be discovered. His feelings for her had become so strong, he felt like he was dying inside unless he was around her. Her scent, the way she smiled, the way she laughed… He thought about how it would be if she liked him back, he could finally be happy. He was by no means depressed, but if he could be with her, he was sure he’d truly be happy. But he also thought about what would happen if she shot him down, which was the likely option. He would feel horrid. He would never be able to look at her again without feeling mortified, or getting angry. He would lose her friendship, her trust…he would lose her. He groaned as his mind looped through hundreds of scenarios over and over again. “You alright?” Hayley asked, snapping Josh out of his daze. “I think I need to tell you something.” He said quietly, almost not believing the words coming from his mouth. “What?” Hayley sat up straight and looked at him. Josh bit his lip, he couldn’t say it, it was too dangerous. “Josh, you can tell me.” Hayley said, grabbing his hand encouragingly. “I love you.” He said quietly, regretting the words instantly. “Aw, I love you too buddy!” Hayley grinned. “No, you don’t understand.” He said desperately. “I lo-” “I understand.” Hayley cut him off. “I – I’m sorry.” She looked away. Josh felt his heart shatter. “Shit.” He muttered. “Look,” Hayley said, grasping his hands again, “you’ve been on tour with me for…how many years now? You haven’t had any time to hang around any other girls for a decent amount of time. You just think you love me because you know me so well.” “No.” Josh shook his head firmly. “I really do. I have since I was 13. I may not have known the feeling at the time, but its true.” “Josh…” Hayley said quietly, rubbing her forehead. “Hayley, this has been driving me mad for years now. It’s been killing me to keep this to myself, so let me talk before you shoot me down.” He said. She said nothing, allowing him to continue. He took a deep breath and began talking. “When I first met you, I was completely taken aback. You know how long it took for me to actually talk to you, this was why.” He said, gaining confidence with every word he spoke. “Every day you do something new to amaze me. You always put a smile on my face. That quote you put up today, ‘to burn with desire and do nothing about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves’, I don’t think you realize just how true that is.” He said, looking into her eyes. She said nothing. “This secret has been eating away at me for years now. It sucks!” He grew angry as her face still showed no emotion. “Every single insignificant thing you do makes me happy. And it kills me that I can’t be with you, that I can’t be the one to protect you and make you smile.” Hayley sat in shock. How could she not have realized? “Josh…” She finally spoke. “I-I’m so sorry.” Josh sighed. “Don’t apologize.” He said harshly. “Well what am I supposed to say?” Hayley whispered angrily. “That I love you too so let’s get together? It’s not that easy Josh!” What little hope he had left burned bright. If ‘it wasn’t that easy’ that meant it was complicated, that meant that maybe she liked him back but she was scared to act on the feeling. She looked him in the eyes and moved her head closer. Josh leaned forward quickly and kissed her. She closed her eyes and relaxed into the kiss. His tongue slipped between her lips as he placed his hand on the back of her neck. Josh beamed; he was as high as a kite. Until Hayley shoved him away roughly… “No!” She said quickly, backing away and shaking her head. “I’m so sorry.” She turned and ran for her bunk. Just like that, Josh came crashing back down to earth, hard. He sat, stunned, for what seemed like hours. Hayley’s quote was wrong, to put your heart out there to get stomped all over was the greatest punishment anyone could bring on themselves… …sorry, had to have ONE fic that didn't turn out well... If it does end up being a full on fic, I swear it will have a happy ending. :)

November 8, 2008I got bored...
So I got bored today and I was in the writing mood and I sorta finished a oneshot I've had partially written for weeks now...
Basically, about 3 weeks into the school year, this (creepy as hell) dude sat at the desk in front of me and his shirt had this quote on the back and I was like aisdfhfhgiruwahbj that would make a good fic. So yeah... Here's a preview :D ~*~ “To burn with desire and keep quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves.” How could she know exactly how he was feeling but be utterly oblivious to it at the same time? “Are you alright?” She asked, reaching out and touching his arm. He felt a jolt run through his body and his eyes snapped shut. Her touch always put him on a high and he was sickeningly addicted. ~*~ OoOoOo! Should be up soonish. It still needs… something… don’t know what. :/ Can you guess who it's about?? haha probably pretty easy to figure out... :P It may turn into a fic eventually... I don't know. I don't really have any ideas for it yet so we'll see. I am working really hard on a new fic though. Not sure which one to post first. There will probably be some sort of poll up soon so look out for that. :)

Made For Each Other: Epilogue
It gets kinda corny at the end...
I can't believe it's actually done. I bet I read through this whole fic next week and find 934730285702382 things I want to change... oh well. haha. Thanks for the name suggestions. :) ![]() Five Years Later “You’re never going to come out, are you?” Josh said to Hayley’s stomach. She was nine months and one week pregnant with their third child. They had two boys, Jakob who was nearly five and Tyler who was two and a half. They had recently bought and moved in to a four-bedroom home not far from Hayley’s mother’s house. Hayley knew she would love the baby inside of her whether it was a girl or a boy but she secretly hoped, at least for Josh’s sake, it was a girl. He was convinced it was and she could tell he was getting excited. He loved his boys and would do anything for them, but he was ready for a girl. Hayley gasped as Josh rubbed her stomach gently. “What?” He said quickly. Hayley smiled. “You did it.” She laughed. Josh looked confused. “The baby’s coming.” She explained. “The baby’s coming!” Josh repeated excitedly. He took off to their room and grabbed an already packed bag of their things. The boys were already at Josh’s parents house, so Josh quickly guided Hayley to the car and sped off toward the hospital. “Oh my gosh! I forgot how much these hurt!” Hayley complained as she suffered yet another contraction. “Fuck!” She cried. She felt like she was being torn apart. Josh held on to her hand tightly and kissed her forehead. “You’re doing great!” He assured. “Thank you so much for doing this, for giving us another little life to care for.” He smiled. Tears instantly burned at Hayley’s eyes. “Shut up! You know I’m overly emotional.” She laughed. Josh smiled and wiped a tear off her cheek with his thumb. He kissed her slowly and she rested her head on his shoulder. “You’re so beautiful right now, you know that?” He smiled. “I am not. I’m sweaty and gross.” Hayley wrinkled her nose. “You’re beautiful.” Josh repeated. Hayley rolled her eyes. “I want it out.” She complained. They had been at the hospital for seven hours now, waiting. “Me too. I wanna meet my baby girl!” Josh grinned widely. Hayley bit her lip. “Don’t say that.” She said quietly. “What if it’s a boy?” “It’s not.” Josh flashed a cocky smirk. “And if it is, I’ll love him anyway. There’s always next time.” Hayley laughed. “As much as I love our kids, I think I’m done for a while.” She said, rubbing her belly. Josh laughed and nodded in agreement. “Alright, let’s see how we’re doing.” Hayley’s doctor entered the room. Hayley hopped up on the bed and allowed the doctor to examine her. “Hmm.” The doctor frowned. “What?” Josh said instantly. “Nothing too serious, we’re just going to have to – er…force…the baby out.” She replied. Hayley groaned as pain tore through her body again. “Sooner rather than later.” The doctor added quickly. She called for a nurse. “Will you prep Mrs. Farro for a cesarean?” The doctor asked. “No!” Hayley’s eyes went wide in alarm. “No c-section!” “We’re doing a regular birth.” Josh said calmly. “I’m sorry, the baby has the umbilical cord wrapped around its neck. It’s the only way.” The doctor explained calmly. “What?” Hayley panicked. All the blood in Josh’s face drained and his heart stopped. “There is nothing to worry about, you and your baby will be fine.” The doctor assured. “So long as we can do the c-section.” Josh looked at Hayley who nodded. Josh took her hand and kissed her forehead. “I’m not leaving her.” He said. “You don’t have to.” The doctor smiled. “Alright, lets get you to the O.R. so you can meet your baby!” An hour after her surgery, Hayley fell fast asleep. She woke a few hours later to the sweet sound of Josh humming. She opened her eyes and turned to watch him. He had their new baby in his arms and was rocking it back and forth. “Hey baby girl.” He whispered, raising the infant to his face. “You gave mommy and I quite a scare.” He said, laying her on his legs carefully. “You’ll get to meet your brothers tomorrow. They’re the loud ones, like uncle Zac.” Josh continued talking to the baby. “Now, you’re going to like music, whether you want to or not. It’s in your blood.” Hayley grinned and wondered if their baby would inherit her singing ability. “I’m gonna set some ground rules while I have your attention.” Josh said. “Always listen to your mother and I; we know what’s best, I promise. And if you do sneak out of the house someday, make sure we don’t catch you.” Hayley smiled at this remembering the countless times she had snuck out to visit Josh. “Oh, and one more thing.” Josh said, still oblivious to the fact Hayley was awake. “No sex until I’m dead. I mean it!” Hayley laughed, startling Josh. “You don’t want grandkids?” She asked. “That’s what the boys are for.” Josh said with a smile. Hayley narrowed her eyes, smiling. Josh laughed and walked over to her bed. “Ok, you can reproduce.” He said to his daughter. “But that’s the only time you can have sex.” Hayley laughed again. “We need to give her a name.” She yawned. She scooted over, making room for Josh and their new baby. It was already obvious she had Hayley’s pretty eyes and Josh’s dark hair. “It’ll come to us.” Josh replied, sitting on the bed. “How are you feeling?” “Sore.” Hayley said with a cough. The baby started crying. Hayley took her from Josh and began singing softly, instantly quieting the baby. Josh gently took her from Hayley and laid her in her hospital bassinette. He snuggled up to his wife and within minutes, the two were asleep. “Daddy!” Jakob and Tyler ran for Josh. “My boys!” Josh knelt down and hugged them. “Where’s the baby?” Jakob asked, looking around. “She’s with mommy in the hospital room.” Josh explained. “How’s she feeling?” Audra asked. She and Zac had brought the boys over to see their new sister. “Pretty sore.” Josh said, standing and hugging her and his brother. “Her mom came by earlier with tea though, so that made her pretty happy.” “Daddy!” Tyler said excitedly, pulling at Josh’s leg. “I see baby!” Josh smiled and scooped Tyler into his arms. “Alright, lets go see mommy and the baby.” He said, leading the way to Hayley’s room. “You decent?” He called from the doorway. “Yep, just finished feeding her.” Hayley called back. Josh brought the boys, Zac and Audra in to the room. “Mommy!” Jakob ran for the bed. “Careful Jake!” Hayley smiled as he tried climbing on the bed. Josh lifted him up and sat him on the bed. “Careful, mommy has a boo-boo on her tummy.” Josh warned. “Is that my brother?” Jake asked, pointing to the baby in Hayley’s arms. “Nope, this is your sister, Mackenzie.” She smiled. “Baby.” Tyler reached for Hayley from Josh’s arms. He set Tyler on the bed and watched as he crawled up to see the baby. “Isn’t she gorgeous?” Audra whispered. “I have a niece!” Zac rubbed her back and smiled. “Do you want to hold her?” Hayley asked, handing Mackenzie over to Audra. “My turn!” Jakob said as soon as he realized he could hold his sister. “Hold on, let auntie and uncle have a turn.” Josh laughed. “When are you gonna teach me gee-tar?” Jakob demanded. He had been eager to learn the guitar from the moment he saw Josh play. “When you’re big enough to hold one.” Josh smiled at his son. Hayley took Mackenzie from Audra and kissed the baby’s forehead lightly. “Mr. Farro?” A nurse walked in to the room. “There’s a call for you.” Josh stood and headed for the door. “Hey Jake, don’t you have something you wanted to tell your mommy?” Zac whispered to the almost five year old. “Mommy!” he said instantly. “Yes Jakey?” Hayley smiled. “Uncle Zac says I can babysit!” He said proudly. Hayley looked confused. Zac and Audra didn’t have any kids. She looked at Zac, he had a huge grin on his face. Her jaw dropped. “You’re pregnant?” She asked excitedly, turning to Audra. Audra nodded. “Oh my gosh!” Hayley grinned. “JOSH!” She yelled for her husband. “Congratulations!” She smiled as Josh skidded in to the room looking worried. “Jake, tell daddy what you told me.” Hayley grinned. “Uncle Zac said I can babysit!” Jake repeated with a grin. “Babysit what?” Josh asked, clearly confused. “Oh my gosh!” He said quickly, grinning and looking at his brother. “I’m gonna be a daddy!” Zac said, smiling like a mad man. Audra sat next to Hayley on the hospital bed, holding Mackenzie. Josh’s parents had taken the boys to their house and there was finally some peace and quiet to focus solely on the new baby. "Zac." Audra whispered. Zac hurried over, putting his arm around her. He was doing everything he could to make sure she was comfortable and happy. "What?" He asked. "We're gonna have one of these in 8 months." She grinned. Zac smiled and kissed her. They had been trying for a baby for years, and now it was finally happening. "Can I see her?" Zac asked Audra. She gently passed Mackenzie over. "Hey Mac." Zac whispered. "Remember me? Uncle Zacy? Auntie Audra over there is busy making a little cousin for you to play with." He cooed. "Yeah." Audra joined in, leaning over Zac's shoulder. "You two will be best friends." She laughed. Mackenzie started fussing a bit but Audra calmed her by taking her from Zac and rocking her gently. "You two are gonna be great parents." Hayley smiled. Audra smiled and Zac cringed. "Seriously!" Josh agreed. "Yeah, Zac. You're great with our boys, Jeremy’s kids and Nate's kids. You have nothing to worry about." Hayley assured. "You'll be a great dad." Zac smiled. "I can't wait." He said, putting his arm protectively around Audra's waist and resting his hand on her stomach. "Ok, I wanna see my baby girl!" Josh said, stepping forward to take Mackenzie. "Aw, Josh is in love." Audra smiled. "I am." Josh smiled, looking at his daughter. Hayley’s heart burst as she watched her husband and her daughter, she felt so lucky to be married to her best friend and have three adorable, healthy, happy children. He walked over to Hayley and kissed her slowly. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you too, always and forever." (can you say CORNY?!? haha sorry, I suck at endings...) :( It’s over! Kinda sad...ngl. I'll do a new fic eventually... just have to write one. I have like 3 fics and 2 oneshots started but I'm having serious ADD issues and I'm going through phases where I just don't want to write. lol.

November 5, 2008Happy Halloween from Paramore... :P
I got bored at school today and I found these. Thought I'd share:
![]() Chayley at Jeremy's All Hallow's Eve party ![]() Jeremy/Sarah at Jeremy's party. They are SO FREAKING CUTE! Apparently Josh/Zac/Taylor didn't go to the party, all I could find were icon sized pics of their costumes: ![]() Taylor was Mexican grapes? (with a mustache) haha I think this one is my favorite. definitely the most creative. Zac was a Christmas tree (also with a mustache haha) Josh was Edward Scissorhands? That's what it looks like anyway. Very realistic looking if you ask me. hehe I want to see full sized pics. haha. Not gonna tag these cuz it sounds like people have been getting accounts deleted (other places, like LJ) for having the pics of Josh Zac and Tay because they're personal pics... I don't think my account would be deleted, but I dont wanna risk it... haha On a side note, the acoustic version of Decode is AMAZING! I had it on repeat all night last night. lol It's on the Borders version of the Twilight soundtrack, my grandmother got it for me for by birthday yesterday. haha. Basically, the acoustic version is almost identical to what I was imagining when I wrote a certain chapter (like a week after the original version if Decode came out) for a future fic... i'm excited now... hah

Last chapter!! Wow… (epilogue on the way)
This chapter and the epilogue are very… wrap-it-up-ish. Haha. Sorry if they’re boring. ![]() “Happy birthday Jeremy!” Everyone said together as Jeremy blew out the candles on his cake. “You’re officially old now.” Zac said, slapping his friend on the back. “Hey! I ain’t 30 yet!” Jeremy complained. “Two years babe.” Sarah reminded. Hayley and Josh had been married for nearly three years now. The first year was tough, just like any marriage. There was a lot of pressure on them, mostly from media but a bit from fans. Once they hit the one-year mark things got easier as people started to realize that this was for real, they weren’t going to split up. Zac and Audra had been married for a year and a half and were happier than ever, while Taylor married his long time girlfriend a few months before. Sarah began cutting the cake while Jeremy stood behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and rested his hands on her stomach, kissing her neck lovingly. “Thanks for the party babe.” He said. Sarah smiled. “Hey!” Jeremy said suddenly. He turned Sarah around so she was facing him and bent over so he was at eye level with her stomach. “Do not kick your mother!” Jeremy pointed at Sarah’s belly scolding jokingly. “That kind of behavior will not be tolerated when you get out of there.” Sarah laughed and hugged Jeremy when he stood back up. “Oh! Let me feel!” Hayley hurried over and pressed a hand to Sarah’s stomach. Sure enough, she felt little feet kicking from inside. “Aww!” She cooed. “You need to come out now so I can meet you.” Hayley said to Sarah’s stomach. “One more month!” Sarah said happily. She was looking forward to meeting the little boy or girl inside of her. “Four weeks ‘til I have to grow up!” Jeremy laughed. A week later, Hayley sat in the recording studio in her apartment. Josh had been working on a new song and she was anxious to begin with lyrics. It was two thirty in the morning, but she didn’t care. She pressed play and listened to the song once more, scribbling out words furiously on a lined piece of paper from time to time. As soon as the song was over, she heard Josh’s phone ring from the living room. She hopped up quickly to answer it before the noise woke Josh. “Hello?” She said into the receiver. “Josh!” a voice came from the other line. “This is Hayley.” She replied. “Josh! I – Josh?” the voice said again. “What’s going on Jeremy?” Hayley said, recognizing the panicked voice. “Hayley, I need Josh.” Jeremy said. “He’s sleeping, what’s wrong?” Hayley asked. “Baby. Don’t know what to do.” He said frantically. “Where’s Josh?” “What?” Hayley panicked. “What happened?” “Baby’s coming.” Jeremy said quickly. “What do I do?” “Get her to the hospital!” Hayley nearly screamed into the phone. “Already there.” Jeremy said, calming down a bit. “Then go sit with her!” Hayley laughed. “We’ll be down as soon as we can.” “Right, yeah ok.” Jeremy said. “See you.” He hung up the phone. Hayley grinned and opened the door to the bedroom. “Josh.” She whispered. She smiled as she looked at him. He was sleeping soundly with one hand tucked under his head. She climbed onto the bed and kissed his forehead. “Josh.” She repeated, louder. “Jeremy needs you.” Josh groaned in his sleep and pulled her close. “Wake up sleepy head.” Hayley said with a laugh. “No.” Josh groaned. “Come to sleep.” “Sarah’s having the baby, we have to go.” Hayley said, sitting up. “What?” Josh woke up instantly. “Seriously?” He rubbed his tired eyes with the palms of his hands. “Jeremy’s completely freaking out.” Hayley laughed. “He just called, we have to go.” Josh quickly jumped out of bed and pulled on some clothes. Seven hours later, Hayley knocked on Sarah’s hospital door cautiously. “Come in.” Sarah said. Hayley rushed in, followed by Josh, Zac and Taylor. “Aww!” Hayley cooed as she saw a bundle of blankets in Jeremy’s arms. Jeremy passed the baby to Hayley. “Meet Madeline Leigh Davis” He said quietly. “Oh my gosh!” Hayley smiled. “Look at you!” She was a beautiful healthy baby girl. “She’s so tiny!” Zac marveled. “Isn’t it crazy?” Jeremy smiled. Josh nodded his head. He watched Hayley play with Madeline and smiled. She would make a good mother some day. Hayley passed the baby to Josh he smiled down at the now sleeping girl and kissed her forehead gently. “Hey cutie! I’m uncle Joshie.” He said. “And this is uncle T and uncle Zac.” He said. “Feel free to beat them up.” Zac laughed and moved forward to take Madeline from his brother. “How are you feeling?” Hayley asked Sarah. She looked completely exhausted. “Happy.” Sarah smiled as she watched Zac hold her baby. “Uh oh, she’s waking up.” Jeremy noticed. Soon enough, the room was filled with cries. “Maddie!” Zac said. “What do you think you’re doing?” He gently rocked her back and forth. She calmed down a little but didn’t stop crying. “I like that nickname.” Sarah said with a yawn. “I think she wants mommy.” Zac said, handing the baby over to Sarah. Madeline calmed down when she was returned to Sarah. She stopped crying completely when Jeremy gently brushed his finger along her tiny face. “Aww!” Hayley whispered. “Family photo!” She said, pulling out her camera. Jeremy sat on the bed, next to Sarah and Sarah held Maddie so she was facing the camera. When Hayley had finished, Josh stepped forward. “Well I think we should head out, it looks like Sarah is struggling to stay awake.” He said. Hayley laughed as Sarah yawned yet again. “Take care of them Jeremy.” Taylor smiled. “Oh I will.” Jeremy laughed. Hayley ran over to see the baby one last time before being dragged out of the room by Josh. When they reached home, Hayley headed straight for the shower. She hated the smell of hospitals and wanted to wash it off as soon as she could. She heard Josh enter the bathroom and smiled as he pulled back the curtain to join her. “What time is it?” She yawned. She had slept a bit in the hospital but she was still exhausted. “10 a.m.” Josh informed, reaching for his body wash. “You know, two people taking a shower at once who are actually taking showers and not doing other things doesn’t really work.” She smiled. Josh laughed. “I'm just washing up, then I’ll be out of your way.” He kissed her gently. He rinsed the soap from his body and stepped aside, allowing Hayley access to the water. She raised her hand to his neck and kissed him slowly. Josh smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing back passionately. He turned off the tap and helped Hayley out of the shower. She dried off quickly before pouncing on her husband and kissing his neck, right where she knew he liked to be kissed. Josh grinned and carried Hayley into the bedroom, laying her on the bed. He climbed on top of her, pressing his chest to hers and lowered his lips to her ear. “Lets make a baby.” He whispered. Hayley froze. “Seriously?” She pushed Josh off of her gently with a huge grin on her face. Josh laughed and nodded. “I saw how you looked when you saw Maddie.” Josh said. “And I think we’re both ready.” “You really want to? You’re not just saying it for me.” Hayley asked. “I want to start a family with you.” Josh said sincerely. Hayley leapt on top of him and kissed him hard. “Lets make a baby!” She grinned :D Ok, I already have a name in mind for the Joshaley parababy (haha parababy…) BUT I’m not completely set on them. So I’m definitely open to suggestions if you have a name or two :P aww I don't want this to be over... :( I'll have a new fic up soon though!

November 1, 2008Made For Each Other Ch. 25
I’m scared of this chapter… please don’t kill me. :P
I'm gonna dedicate this one to parawhorextoxthexmax cuz she was so supportive of me writing this. haha. Holy F!! I'm scared... ![]() When the reception was finally over, Hayley and Josh hopped into a limo and drove to their apartment. They sat in silence as the streetlamps whizzed by, simply looking at each other. Neither could believe they were finally married. And in a short two days, they would leave for Italy on their honeymoon. They couldn’t wait. When they reached the apartment, Josh unlocked the door and pushed it open. “Wait.” He said as Hayley began to walk in. She stopped and turned to face him, confusion written over her pretty face. Josh smiled cheerily and put an arm around her back. He then bent over slightly to place his other arm behind her knees and gently lifted her into the air. “Josh!” Hayley laughed as he carried her into the apartment. He kicked the door shut behind them and smoothly set her down in the living room. Hayley looked around, there were boxes everywhere. Zac was still in the process of moving out while she was in the process of moving in. “Dang, I forgot about the mess.” She frowned. “Don’t worry about it. We’ll clean tomorrow.” Josh said, removing his tux jacket. “Oh, look!” He smiled, pointing to the kitchen. Over the small breakfast island was a giant sign that read ‘Welcome Home Mr. and Mrs. Farro!’ Hayley broke out into a grin. “Welcome home.” Josh whispered, kissing her lightly. Hayley sighed and rested her head on his shoulder. “Ugh, I can’t stand this thing anymore.” Hayley complained. “Will you unzip me?” She asked, turning around so Josh could reach the back of her dress. He slowly pulled the zip down, smiling as inch by inch, the smooth skin of her back was revealed. “Ah! I can breathe again!” She laughed as the dress pulled away from her sides. Josh smiled and shrugged off his vest. He leaned in and kissed her while simultaneously untucking his shirt. “I feel like I haven’t seen you all day.” He whispered, wrapping his arms around her. Hayley nodded in agreement and kissed him teasingly. She slowly began unbuttoning his crisp white shirt. Josh bit his lip and broke out into goose bumps as her fingers ran along his newly exposed skin. When she had finished unbuttoning, she slipped her hands underneath the fabric of the shirt and pushed it off his shoulders, letting it fall to the ground. Josh raised his hand to her face and leaned in to kiss her. Hayley shut her eyes and kissed back, trying to show how much she loved him through the kiss. “You look so good right now…” Hayley whispered as she backed away a bit. She grinned as she looked him over, he was wearing nothing but a thick silver wedding band on his finger and his dress pants. “Help me get out of this thing.” She said, pulling her dress over her head. Josh grabbed hold of the dress and held it as she scrambled to find her way out of the skirt. “Wow.” Josh said breathlessly. He seemed to be in shock as he looked at his wife. Hayley laughed. “Present from Bekkah.” She giggled, twirling around in her sexy green bra and boyshort style underwear. “Thank you Bekkah!” Josh grinned, practically drooling. “Hold on a sec!” Hayley said, dodging Josh as he took a step toward her. She picked her dress up off the floor and carefully hung it from a hanger. She turned to face her husband and kissed him passionately. He lifted her into the air with ease, still keeping his lips on hers. She wrapped her legs around his waist and allowed him to carry her into the bedroom. [eep! I can’t write this stuff!] They crashed onto the bed and Hayley struggled to remove his pants. He pulled them off and threw them to the floor, moaning her name as she bit his neck lustfully. “We’re married!” Hayley giggled suddenly. Josh smiled. “Yes we are.” He said, kissing her again sweetly. They began kissing passionately and Josh started fumbling with the clasp of her bra. Hayley laughed a bit as he finally succeeded and threw it to the side. She snuck her fingers under the waistband of his underwear and pushed it off his hips. “Hayley!” Josh whimpered as she pulled his hips into hers. “Do you have a condom?” Hayley asked as Josh ground his hips into hers. He nodded and pulled a jumbo pack of them from his bedside table drawer. Hayley laughed. “Zac?” She asked. Josh nodded. Zac had given him the box at his bachelor party. He opened the box and pulled one out, placing it on the nightstand until it was needed. He then resumed kissing Hayley passionately, running her fingers along her torso. She scratched at his back, pulling him closer and reached for the condom. “Are you sure you want to do this?” Josh asked. “Of course.” Hayley smiled. “We don’t have to.” Josh said seriously. “I want you to be ready.” “I’ve been ready for months now.” Hayley assured. Josh grinned and kissed her slowly before gently entering her. Hayley gasped as they started to move together. She had never felt more in love. Josh kissed her hard on the mouth, licking her lower lip gently. Her lips parted, allowing him to dart his tongue into her mouth. She threw her head back as he planted small kissed along her neck and pulled at his hips, silently begging him to speed up. Josh groaned and before long, he collapsed against her, panting hard. [sorry if I burned your eyes out!!] ~*~ Josh woke the next morning to find Hayley cuddled up next to him, sleeping peacefully. He grinned and kissed her forehead gently, not wanting to wake her. She shifted in her sleep and wrapped her arm around his bare waist, pulling him close. “Morning.” She whispered into his chest, eyes still shut. “Morning Mrs. Farro.” Josh replied with a smiled. He felt her grin into his chest. She looked up at him, resting her chin on his shoulder. He bent forward slightly, capturing her lips in a loving kiss. “How do you feel?” He asked. “Happy.” Hayley smiled. “And tired.” She added. Josh laughed. “Go back to sleep.” He instructed. She nodded and rolled onto her back. He kissed her forehead again and pulled himself out of bed, heading to the bathroom for a shower. As he returned to the bedroom with a towel around his waist, he smiled at Hayley. She looked beautiful. Her red hair stood out against the cream colored pillows and her flawless skin seemed to radiate beauty. He had never felt so lucky. He sighed happily and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. As soon as the bacon was done cooking, he heard Hayley shuffle into the living room. “It smells good in here.” Hayley said with a yawn. She stood in the doorway to the kitchen holding the bed sheets around her petite body. “Mmm! Chocolate chip pancakes! My favorite.” She smiled as she spotted them in a pile on the table. “Come sit, breakfast is almost ready.” Josh smiled and kissed her. Hayley grinned and took a seat. “That was excellent.” Hayley said as she put her dishes in the sink. “Thank you.” She kissed Josh’s nose with a giggle. “Anytime.” Josh replied. “I don’t know how I was able to eat with you sitting across from me, half naked.” Hayley giggled as she headed into the living room looking behind her with a smile. Josh laughed and kissed her slowly. As the kisses became more intense, the room was suddenly filled with rap music. “Ugh, your phone is ringing.” Hayley frowned. “I don’t care.” Josh whispered, kissing Hayley’s collarbone. “Josh…” She said. “You should see who it is.” She finished reluctantly. Josh sighed and looked at his phone. ‘Zac’ was written across the screen, he would be wanting to know how the night went no doubt. Josh shook his head and turned back to Hayley. “It can wait.” He said. He dragged her onto the couch, pulling the bed sheet off her on the way down. Yeah, I’m worried about the reaction I’m gonna get for this… to quote parawhorextoxthexmax: “sweet bejeezus I’m scaaaaared!” haha. I’ll take it down if it offends anyone. Holy crap! Only one chapter and an epilogue left! I’ll try to have it all up by the end of the week. And I’ll be doing another fic soon. Just don’t know which one… I have a few ideas. I think I’ll have a poll soon for which fic I should do next, so be on the lookout for that. :)
