Chapter 12! It's a long one... haha
Enjoy! ![]() “Yeah, that’d be cool.” Josh replied. “We could meet at Starbucks?” “Heck yeah!” Hayley laughed. “See you then.” “Can’t wait.” Josh smiled in to the receiver. “Oh my gosh, this is useless.” Josh sighed as he and Hayley left the fifth potential apartment. “I still say that second one was good!” Hayley said. Josh wrinkled his nose. “It was way too far away from everything though.” He said, sitting down on a city bench. “I just want to give up for now.” “One more.” Hayley urged. “Nooooo.” Josh whined. “I’ve seen enough.” “Just one!” Hayley begged. “We’ve already made the appointment.” She grabbed his hand and pulled. Josh groaned in complaint. “I’ll buy you ice cream.” She bribed. “Alright, fine.” Josh caved. He stood and followed Hayley to the car. “Where’s this one?” He asked. “A few blocks over from mine actually.” She replied, opening the passenger’s side door and getting in. “Apparently it’s partially furnished.” Josh raised an eyebrow. “Ooh! Partially furnished! Yippee!” Hayley rolled her eyes. He started the car and backed out of the space. “This is the living room.” Mr. Montgomery, the landlord, announced. There were two comfortable looking couches and a chair surrounding a small fireplace on one side of the room and a large window, offering a nice view of a park on one wall. “Nice!” Hayley ran to the window. “I love the view.” “The master bedroom is through here.” Mr. Montgomery guided Josh through a door off the living room. “It’s pretty big.” Josh smiled, impressed. There was a small hallway toward the side of the room that had doors to a decent sized closet on one side and a door to the master bathroom at the end. “Yes, plenty of room for you two.” Mr. Montgomery smiled. Josh coughed. “Us two?” He asked. “Yes, you and your girlfriend.” He replied. Josh laughed. “Uh, no she’s just my friend.” He blushed a bit. “She’s helping me find a place.” “Oh, my apologies.” The landlord frowned. “Could’ve sworn…” He muttered under his breath. “Dude! This is awesome!” Hayley said as she entered the bedroom. “You could buy a really comfy bed and put it right here.” She held her hands out in front of her facing one wall. Josh smiled and headed out of the room. Upon exiting, he saw a small kitchen to his right, with barstools lined up against a counter. He walked toward a door beside the kitchen and entered a medium sized room. “This is the study.” The landlord followed him in. Josh turned to Hayley and saw her eyes widen. “Josh!” She whispered excitedly. “What?” Josh asked. Hayley walked into the middle of the room. “Ok, picture this.” She began. “Huge desk along the entire length of this wall and halfway down this one. Your crazy new Mac desktop that does anything you could ever want under the desk here with two big monitors on the top of the desk. All your recording equipment on this side of the desk. Zac’s drum pad over here.” She pointed to a corner of the room. “And, if its ok with you,” She glanced at the landlord, “you screw a few of those things that hold guitars on the walls at the guitar-shops on this wall and put your guitars on them.” Josh grinned. “And!” She continued. “On this wall,” she headed to the wall with the door, “ You put a small couch. And two desk chairs at the desk.” “My own little recording studio!” Josh smiled, following her explanation perfectly, the landlord however, was completely lost. “Not the best recordings in the world, but good enough to have fun with or to do demos.” Hayley grinned. “You’re brilliant you know that?” Josh put his arm over her shoulder. “I try.” Hayley smiled. “Come on, let’s see the rest of it.” She bounded out of the room. There were only three rooms left, a dining room, a bathroom and, at the end of a small hallway, another, smaller bedroom. “Hmm…” Hayley thought. “Is Ajax still looking for a place?” She asked. Josh shook his head. “He found a place ages ago.” Josh said. Hayley thought for a few seconds. She grinned, getting an idea. “You know, Zac isn’t gonna be very happy that you’re moving out and he’s not.” Hayley said. “My thoughts exactly.” Josh smiled. “No drums though.” “If you can bring your guitars and he can’t bring his drums, he’ll go ape shit.” Hayley pointed out. Josh turned to Mr. Montgomery. “How soundproof is this place exactly?” He asked. The landlord smiled. “I think I have a solution. Follow me.” He headed for the door. “This apartment comes with storage space down here.” The landlord explained when they reached the basement. He unlocked a door and revealed a concrete-walled room. Josh smiled, it defiantly wasn’t big enough for a full on band practice but it was great for he and Zac to jam out. Josh immediately pulled out his cell phone. “Dad? Hey.” He said. “I think I found a place.” He waited as his dad replied. “Yeah, get mom head over.” He smiled. “Ok see ya.” “Aren’t you glad I dragged you to see just one more apartment.” Hayley said triumphantly. Josh shook his head and smiled. ~*~*~*~ Zac headed for the door to gather more boxes to move in to Josh’s new place. He was a bit bitter about Josh leaving, he hadn’t ever lived without his brother and, though he’d never admit it, he was going to miss Josh. “Dude! You can’t take that stuff!” Zac yelled as Josh walked by with a box of things. “Why not?” Josh shrugged. “Uh… how about because it’s MINE?” Zac huffed. Josh didn’t reply, he just headed into the apartment. “Josh! What the hell?” Zac ran after him. “Where are you going?” He followed Josh down a small hallway he hadn’t noticed before. Josh kicked open a door at the end of the hallway and placed the box on the floor. “What is this?” Zac said looking around the room. Josh grinned. “Your room, duh.” Josh said, leaving the room. “WHAT?” Zac yelled after his shock passed. Josh laughed. “Dude!” Zac tackled Josh in a hug. “Get off!” Josh laughed, shoving him away. “Come on, we got stuff to buy.” “Huh?” Zac said. “Like what?” “Like beds.” Josh informed. He tossed Zac a set of keys to the apartment. “Let’s go!” Hayley and Sarah snuck out of Zac’s new bedroom as Zac, Josh and Jeremy argued over directions for the bed frame. “Boys.” Sarah sighed, heading for the couch in the living room, clearing a place to sit. The place was a mess from the move. “Yep.” Hayley agreed and helped clear off the couch. “Oh look!” Hayley pointed to a large item wrapped in brown paper. “Hang ‘em up?” Sarah smiled. “Heck yeah!” Hayley grabbed one large package while Sarah grabbed a second identical one. After grabbing a few nails and a hammer, the girls locked themselves in the soon-to-be recording studio. “Here?” Hayley stood on a chair and held a nail to the wall. “Looks good to me!” Sarah said. Hayley immediately began banging away while Sarah unwrapped one of the parcels. They carefully hung the item on the wall and stood back to admire their work. “What the crap are you two doing?” Josh’s voice came from the living room. He tried opening the door to no avail. “Unlock the door!” He demanded. “Hurry!” Sarah giggled. Hayley began hammering a second nail into the wall. “Hayley!” Josh complained. No answer. “Sarah! Open the door.” Jeremy tried. “Just a sec babe!” Sarah called out. She ripped the wrapping off the second package and hung it from the nail. “If you break our apartment, you’re in SO much trouble.” Zac muttered. Once the girls had everything centered, they opened the door. “Tada!” Hayley threw her hands into the air. Josh looked around the room and smiled as he spotted his gold and platinum Riot! records hanging from the wall. “Wow!” Josh grinned. “I didn’t think you’d mind.” Hayley said. “No, it’s perfect.” Josh smiled. “Thanks.” He hugged the girls. “We hung yours up cuz they were the first ones we saw.” Hayley said. “Fine by me.” Zac said. “I want mine in my room.” Josh laughed. “I want mine right where they are.” “Well, while no one is arguing, Jeremy and I have a housewarming gift for you guys.” Sarah ran into the living room. “Me too!” Hayley jogged after Sarah. “Cool, I got you guys a housewarming gift.” Jeremy said as he sat on the floor. Josh chuckled and sat down as well. “Here, open.” Sarah shoved a bag into Zac’s hands before sitting next to Jeremy. Zac pulled out various picture frames filled with photos she and Jeremy had taken over the past few years of all their friends and the Farro family. “Awesome!” Zac said. “Look Josh, we have wall stuff.” Josh laughed and looked through the pictures. “Can’t have naked walls.” Sarah laughed. “These are great! Thanks.” Josh smiled. “You’re welcome!” Sarah smiled back. “Now me.” Hayley shoved a long rectangular box into Josh’s lap. He pulled off the cover and pulled out a black sign. He could faintly see letters on the face of the sign but struggled to read what it said. Hayley unraveled a power cord attached to one corner of the sign and plugged it into the wall. The word ‘Recording’ lit up in bright red letters. “Whoa!” Josh’s eyes went wide. “Cool!” “I thought you could hang it over the door to the studio.” Hayley smiled. “Where did you find this!” Zac said in awe. “Sign shop downtown.” She said proudly. “Thanks!” Josh said, giving her a quick hug. “Hey before I go, I have one last thing for you.” Hayley took Josh aside. Jeremy and Sarah had long since left and Zac was busy on the phone with his girlfriend. “You’ve dong enough.” Josh assured. “It’s not much.” Hayley smiled. “Actually its kind of a repeat of Sarah’s gift.” She laughed. She pulled out a small photo frame with a picture Ryan Russell had taken of the band. “For your room or something.” Hayley explained. “Cool.” Josh fingered the frame. It looked handmade, and knowing Hayley, it probably was. “I printed a few photos off, I didn’t know what you’d want to put in.” She handed over a small stack of pictures. “Thanks.” Josh set them aside and hugged her. Hayley sighed and rested her head on Josh’s shoulder. Seconds later, she felt an overwhelming urge to kiss him. Her head moved up of its own accord and she shivered as her cheek brushed against his. “Uh, I should get going.” She pulled back quickly. Josh looked confused for a moment. “Alright…” He said slowly. “See you later then.” “Yeah, bye.” She hurried out. What had just happened? She didn’t like Josh! Did she? Hope you liked it. Chapter 13 should be up Thursday. It's definitely going to be interesting :X hehehe.

yay, hotel has internet. and HOLY CRAP! I knew traffic in Massachusetts was supposed to be bad but OMFG! It just took us 47 minutes to make a 4 minute drive.... wow... sorry for the rant haha.
Enjoy the new chapterrrr ![]() “Yes! A shower!” Hayley smiled as she stepped off the bus.
“They’re here.” Graham said, noticing the two men from the diner. “What?” Josh looked around. “They must have followed us from the restaurant.” Graham said. He, Jeremy and Josh surrounded Hayley and Jeremy took out his phone. “Yeah hi.” Jeremy said into the receiver. “We have a possible situation, there are two guys who have been following us for a while.” Hayley began to panic. “Oh my gosh!” She said. “Yes, well kind of, they inadvertently made a threat.” Jeremy spoke into the phone again. By now Zac and Taylor were paying attention to what was going on. Zac pushed Audra next to Hayley and he and Taylor completed the circle that was now surrounding Hayley. “Hey, just looking for an autograph.” One of the men said as the two approached. Hayley backed away until she ran into Zac who was standing behind her. “I suggest you leave before the police get here.” Taylor said. One man turned and ran. The other held his hands in the air. “All I want is an autograph from the pretty girl.” He said with a twisted smile, gesturing toward Hayley. He took a step forward. Josh jumped in front of Hayley and raised a fist in the air. His fist flew forward and hit the man square in the jaw. At the same time, Jeremy stepped forward and punched the man as well. “Don’t you dare touch her!” Jeremy yelled. The man doubled over in pain. “Come on.” Graham put his arm around Hayley’s waist and guided her inside quickly while Jeremy continued talking to the police. The man from the diner who had run at the mention of the police, pulled up and the second man limped to the car. Jeremy read off the license plate to the operator as the car peeled out of the lot. Once everyone was inside safely, Hayley began shaking. She’d overheard Jeremy tell the police that the men had planned on possibly kidnapping her and raping her and was very scared. “Shh!” Josh soothed as he hugged her. “You’re safe, nothing’s going to happen.” She gently pushed away from Josh and hugged Jeremy tightly. “I'm sorry.” She said. “You were trying to protect me and I – I’m sorry!” She repeated. “It’s alright, you’re ok.” Jeremy hugged back and rubbed her back gently. She let go and apologized to Graham as well. “Let’s get you upstairs.” Josh said, taking a room key from their manager. Once the room arrangements were made, Hayley took a quick shower. She came out of the bathroom to find Zac, Audra and Taylor watching MTV. “Hey, I’m gonna go find Josh.” Hayley announced. She and Audra were sharing a room while Jeremy and Taylor shared one and Josh and Zac shared another. “I’ll walk you down.” Zac jumped up. “I have the key anyway.” Hayley smiled in relief. She didn’t want to have to walk through the corridors alone. Once they reached the door, Zac swiped the key card in the lock and opened the door. Josh was nowhere to be found, but they could hear the shower running from the bathroom. “Tell Josh I’ll be back later tonight.” Zac hugged Hayley. “I’m glad you’re ok.” He added. Hayley forced a smile and watched Zac leave. Hayley sat on Josh’s bed with her head on her knees and turned on the TV. She heard the shower stop as she flipped through the channels. Finally, she settled on watching the last part of ‘The Notebook’ on ABC. “Shit!” Josh said as he turned the corner. Hayley giggled. “You scared me!” He put a hand to his chest, feeling his heart beat hard. “Sorry.” She smiled and bushed. Josh had only a towel around his waist. He quickly grabbed some clothes and headed back to the bathroom to change. When he reappeared, he sat next to Hayley, looking at her sympathetically. She looked completely run down. He scooted closer to her and put his arm around her. She rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. “I always cry at this part.” Hayley noted as the movie came to a close. Sure enough, within minutes, tears began rolling down her cheek. Josh pulled her closer. Soon, she was sobbing uncontrollably. “Whoa.” Josh looked at her. “What’s up?” The movie had never made her cry that hard. Hayley shrugged, unable to say anything. “Come here.” Josh pulled her into a hug and let her sob into his chest. “I’m s-s-sorry.” She stuttered. “I don’t know what’s wrong.” “Shh. it’s ok.” Josh rubbed her back. “You’ve had a scary night.” “I miss everyone.” She managed between gulps of air. “Sarah’s coming to visit next week, and then we’ll be home.” He said, trying to comfort her. “Why can’t I stop crying?” Hayley said in frustration. Josh pulled back and grabbed her a tissue. She looked so weak and tiny sitting in the middle of the bed. He switched off the TV and gently helped her lay down. She pulled him down with her so they were lying next to each other. Again, Josh pulled her close and let her cry into his chest. She finally managed to get control of herself and slowly drifted to sleep as Josh’s fingers made small soothing circular patterns on her back. Josh began to untangle himself from Hayley carefully so as not to wake her. “Don’t leave me!” Hayley said panicked, snatching his shirt. Josh smiled. “I’m just going to the bathroom. I’ll be right back.” He assured. She nodded. “Sorry…” She said. “Hey, you have nothing to be sorry about. And you have nothing to be scared of. The police have probably found those assholes by now and you have five guys to protect you. Hayley smiled and nodded. Josh headed to the bathroom and texted Zac. Jsyk haylz is having a bad nite. Gonna sleep here. Within seconds he got a reply. She ok? Be back soonish. She’ll be fine just scared. See u soon. After sending the last message, Josh headed back to bed, turning the light off on the way. The next morning, Hayley woke to find herself snuggled against a warm body. She smiled and tried to remember where she was. When everything came flooding back, she jumped, realizing Josh was the one she was pressed up against. She pulled away slightly, face going red. Josh pulled her back toward him in his sleep and wrapped one arm around her waist. He gently kissed her forehead and mumbled something she couldn’t understand. She giggled and carefully extracted herself from his arms, ignoring the butterflies in her stomach. “Ugh” She groaned when she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the bathroom mirror. She looked horrible. Her hair was all over the place and she had several new zits popping up along her forehead. She smoothed out her hair and headed to her hotel room to find some face wash. Zac was in the middle of his shower when Audra entered his room. “Zac? Is that you in there?” She called. “Yeah, I’ll be out in a few.” He yelled back. Seconds later, there was a knock on the shower wall. “Ah!” Zac cried in surprise. Audra’s laughter filled the room. “Sorry!” She said from the other side of the curtain. Zac stuck his head out of the shower, making sure the curtain covered the rest of him. “Well hello!” Zac laughed. Audra stepped forward and kissed him quickly but passionately. “Good morning.” She smiled. “Mmm.” Zac said, still recovering from the kiss. “Good morning is right!” He reached an arm out and pulled her closer before kissing her again. “You’re gettin' me all wet!” She giggled, pulling back. “And the curtain isn’t covering everything up.” She laughed as his hip was revealed. Zac quickly adjusted the curtain. He took a hand and put it gently under her chin. He pulled her close and kissed her gently. “Wow.” Zac breathed as the two broke for air. Audra giggled and kissed him again, he smiled and wrapped a wet arm around her. “Zac?” Josh called as he entered their hotel room. He didn’t get a reply but he heard the shower running. “You gotta hurry if you want breakfast.” Josh continued, walking toward the bathroom door. “Uh almost done!” Zac called out, slightly panicked. “I’ll be out in a sec.” But it was too late. Josh already opened the door. “We’re gonna leave in a half – Audra?” Josh said as he spotted her sitting on the counter by the sink. “Hi.” She said quietly. Josh raised an eyebrow. “What are you doing?” He asked suspiciously. “We were talking.” Audra said. Josh just stared. She didn’t lie, they had just been talking about when check out time was, she just didn’t say what had been done before that. “I’m gonna go find Hayley…” She hopped off the counter and fled the room. Josh sat on his bed, waiting for Zac to come out of the bedroom. “Zac…” He said as his brother emerged. “All we did was talk. It’s no big deal.” Zac explained. Josh laughed. “Zac, her shirt was wet.” Josh pointed out. “I leaned out of the shower to kiss her.” Zac defended. “I must have dripped on her.” “Whatever you two do is none of my business. I’m happy for you guys, really.” Josh began. “But it’s really kind of inappropriate to do that when you’re sharing a room with someone else.” “We didn’t do anything!” Zac raised his voice a bit. “Besides, you had Hayley in your bed all night last night.” “She was scared!” Josh said, getting angry now. “I know.” Zac said. “But there was a lot of cuddling going on.” “I was comforting her!” Josh began to raise his voice. “Hah!” Zac laughed. “SHE WAS SCARED!” Josh roared. “Whatever.” Zac stormed out of the room. Hayley sighed. Everyone was very annoyed with Josh and Zac’s behavior. The two constantly glared at each other and spat sentences at each other if they were forced to speak. And to top it off, everyone was caught in the middle, both brothers had ranted to band and crew members endlessly about each other. “You two are being unbelievably immature.” Hayley said simply. Both boys began defending themselves at once. “Shut up!” Hayley yelled over the babble. “I don’t want to hear it.” She turned to Josh. “Josh, you’re overreacting.” Hayley informed. Josh began to protest. “You are, be quiet.” Hayley silenced him before turning to Zac. “Zac, stop lying, I think we all know that you and Audra did not ‘just talk’” She said. “Which is perfectly fine!” She added while raising her voice over Zac’s cries. “Now shut up and move on!” She stormed to the back of the bus. “Now look what you did!” Josh started. “What I did?” Zac said in disbelief. “I SAID SHUT UP!” Hayley roared. Both boys immediately stopped arguing. “Sorry Josh.” Audra muttered quietly. “You don’t need to apologize.” Josh said with a reassuring smile. “I’m not mad at you, I’m mad at my lying idiot brother.” He glared at Zac. Zac began fighting back. “Josh!” Jeremy scolded. “Do we need to separate you two?” Josh stood, went to his bunk and ripped the curtains shut. Uh oh! haha..... that was lame...sorry. hah. For some reason, I felt like there needed to be one more 'dramatic' thing though... Update Tuesday!

September 25, 2008Made For Each Other Ch. 10
Wow, chapter 10 already... and I don't think I'm even halfway through yet... haha I still have a lot of ideas for this story.
This one's long :) Enjoy! ![]() They were a week in to Warped and already Hayley was dying from the heat. She was positive it had never been this hot on any previous Warped dates they had played. And to make it worse, Josh’s way of dealing with the heat was taking his shirt off. Whenever the air conditioning on the bus wasn’t running or he and the guys played around outside he would take his shirt off. Hayley was seriously beginning to doubt she’d actually survive the summer. One night after everyone had gone to sleep, Hayley decided it was time to watch Wayne’s World. She made her way to the back lounge with her laptop and the movie, trying not to trip as the bus made it’s way down a bumpy road. Five minutes in to the film, she saw a figure get out of one of the bunks. She quickly turned the volume down on her laptop, hoping she hadn’t woken whoever was headed to the bathroom. “Hayley?” Josh’s voice called as he reappeared from the bathroom a few moments later. He headed toward her and, surprise, he was only wearing a pair of boxers. Hayley inwardly groaned. “What are you doing?” He plopped down next to her. “Movie.” She replied, pausing it. “Did I wake you?” She asked. “Nope.” Josh stretched. “Ugh, do you always have to be topless? It’s nasty.” Hayley joked. Hey, anything to get him back in to a shirt it was worth a shot. “And hide these babies?” Josh flexed his muscles. Well that plan backfired marvelously. Hayley blushed, but luckily it was hidden by the darkness of night. “What are we watching?” Josh asked, leaning back into the seat. “I’m watching Wayne’s World.” Hayley answered, reinforcing the ‘I’m’. “Sweet.” Josh tapped the space bar on her computer to make it play again. Hayley rolled her eyes and moved the laptop so they could both see. She laid down across the seat and rested her chin in her hand with her elbow on Josh’s knee. “Comfy yet?” Josh said, rising an eyebrow. Hayley nodded with a smile. After a few moments the bus hit a large bump and Hayley’s laptop went flying, Josh caught it as Hayley was jolted into the air by the bump. She landed hard on her elbow, which landed on Josh’s inner leg. “Fuck!” Josh cried out in pain. “Oh my gosh!” Hayley quickly sat up. “I’m so sorry!” “It’s ok.” He said through gritted teeth. His eyes were shut tight and he had a hand pressed against his leg in an attempt to stop the pain. “Fuck!” he repeated. “I’ll get ice.” Hayley hurried to the freezer. She returned and pressed something against Josh’s thigh. “Ah! That’s cold!” Josh complained. “Deal with it.” Hayley laughed. “Hayls… is that a hot pocket?” Josh cocked his head to the side and looked at the object being pressed to his leg. Hayley laughed and nodded. “It’s all we had!” She defended. Josh shook his head. At lest it was numbing the pain. He just wished she would move her hand down a bit more. As if hearing his pleas for her hand to move down, and ignoring them, the bus hit another bump causing Hayley’s hand and the makeshift ice pack jump up Josh’s leg a few inches. Josh cleared his throat as Hayley’s hand shot away. “Stupid bus.” She muttered. “So. Uh movie?” Josh said. “Right.” Hayley grabbed her laptop and resumed the movie. “Shh!” Jeremy hushed Taylor. “Look!” he pointed to the back lounge. Hayley’s head rested on a pillow in Josh’s lap. Josh’s arm lay gently across her waist and both were fast asleep. “What’s that?” Taylor pointed to something on the floor at Josh’s feet. “Is that a hot pocket?” Jeremy laughed and picked it up. “It is. What the hell.” He threw it to Taylor. Josh stirred in his sleep. “What time is it?” Josh muttered sleepily. “Nearly noon.” Jeremy replied. “What the-” Josh started when he realized Hayley was asleep in his lap. “Ah! Stiff neck.” He twisted his head from side to side to reduce the tension. Hayley snuggled deeper into Josh. “Hayley.” Josh whispered. She groaned in her sleep. “Fivemoreminutes.” She complained. “Time to get up.” Josh yawned. “Hmm?” Hayley raised her head. “Oh!” She blushed when she realized where she was. “We fell asleep during the movie.” Josh said. “Obviously.” Hayley said as she stretched. “Sleep well?” Taylor asked. “No.” Hayley said as she rubbed her sore neck. Taylor laughed and followed Jeremy to the front of the bus. “Ah look at this!” Josh laughed. He pulled one leg of his boxers up an inch to reveal a nasty looking bruise where Hayley’s elbow had dug into him. “Oh shit! I’m so sorry.” Hayley said, touching it gently. Josh winced. “Sorry.” She apologized again. “It’s not your fault the bus hit a bump.” Josh smiled and stood. “I’ll be fine.” He walked toward his bunk to find some clothes. “Zac, one person per bunk, you know the rules.” Josh said as he spotted Audra snuggled up close to Zac in Zac’s bunk. Audra had joined the group the previous day to visit for a week. “She didn’t spend the night in here and we haven’t even kissed or anything.” Zac said. “Rules are rules.” Josh replied. “Sorry.” “No problem, Zac neglected to tell me that rule.” Audra smiled while simultaneously glaring at Zac. She climbed out of the bunk and headed off to find Hayley. ~*~*~*~ “Dude, that slimy guy keeps looking at us.” Zac whispered to Jeremy, nodding to two men sitting a few tables away at the diner they were eating at. “I know, creepy.” He whispered back. Every once and a while, one of the two men would raise their voice as they fought with each other. “Be right back.” Jeremy excused himself from the table and headed for the restrooms. As he washed his hands and adjusted his hair, he heard two men heading to the restroom. “I’d fuck her!” a voice said. Jeremy froze, he recognized the voice, it was one of the greasy guys from the next table over. He darted into a bathroom stall so he wouldn’t be seen. “I say we get her when she leaves.” The other man said as the two opened the door to the restroom. “Red-heads are always more fun.” One said. “Yeah, they’re fiery ones ain’t they!” The other laughed. Jeremy’s eyes widened, they had to be talking about Hayley. “I'm serious, lets snatch her.” The first man said. “We can’t do that! She’s got a body guard.” “Sure we can! He’s only one person, and they other guys will be too busy fooling around to stop us until it’s too late.” He snarled. Jeremy’s hands balled into fists. If he wasn’t in a public place, and it wasn’t two to one, he would beat them to a pulp. As soon as the men left, Jeremy hurried back to the table. “We ready to go?” Josh asked. “I’m just gonna run to the bathroom.” Hayley stood up. Jeremy jumped up behind her and followed her to the restrooms. “What are you doing?” Hayley asked. “Uh… I think I left my phone in the men’s room.” He lied. Hayley raised an eyebrow before entering the ladies room. Jeremy looked over his shoulder. Sure enough, one of the two slime balls was walking toward the bathrooms coolly. “Hey dude!” Jeremy smiled as the man got closer. The man gave him a nasty look. “Man, I can’t believe how warm it was today!” Jeremy tried to deter the man as best he could. The man still did not reply. The second Hayley reemerged from the bathroom, Jeremy grabbed her arm and led her back to the table before the man could try anything. “Ouch! Jeremy you’re hurting me!” Hayley rubbed her arm. “What was that all about?” “Nothing.” He muttered taking his seat. “Stay close to her.” Jeremy whispered into Graham’s ear. Graham was suddenly very alert. He looked at Jeremy who nodded to the table where the men were sitting. “Let’s go.” Taylor jumped up from his seat and headed for the door. The two men at the next table did the same. Once outside, Taylor, Zac, and Josh began racing for the bus while Audra chased after them. Jeremy rolled his eyes, they were behaving just as the men had predicted in the bathroom. Graham stayed close to Hayley’s left while Jeremy protected her from the right. “Hi.” Hayley looked around Jeremy at the two men who were following. “Can I get an autograph?” One asked, flashing a toothy grin. “Sure.” Hayley smiled and stopped walking. “No time.” Jeremy said quickly. “Yep, were already late sorry.” Graham jumped in. He and Jeremy each put an arm around Hayley’s waist protectively and hurried her to the bus. “What the hell!?” Hayley cried as she was not so gently shoved onto the bus. Graham quickly shut the door behind them and locked it. “They were creepy Hayley.” Jeremy said. “So? Now they think we’re assholes!” Hayley complained. “Doesn’t matter.” Jeremy said as the bus began to move. “What’s going on?” Josh appeared from the back of the bus. “A fan wanted an autograph but Jeremy and Graham were being dicks and wouldn’t let me stop.” Hayley huffed. Josh looked at Jeremy. “I’m sure they had a reason.” Josh assured. “Whatever.” Hayley stormed off to her bunk. “What happened?” Graham asked as soon as Hayley was gone. “I heard them in the bathroom, they wanted to kidnap her and rape her.” Jeremy informed. “Shit!” Josh put a hand to his mouth. “I dunno if they actually would’ve gone through with it, one of them didn’t really seem like he wanted to try it.” Jeremy continued. “Better to be safe than sorry.” Graham sighed. “She’ll get over it.” When the bus arrived at the hotel they would be staying at everyone piled off the bus with bags full of what they would need for the night. “Yes! A shower!” Hayley smiled as she stepped off the bus. “They’re here.” Graham said, noticing the two men from the diner. :O Drama! (or at least my pathetic attempt at it...) hahaha I'm not sure when I'll be able to update again, hopefully this weekend, but I'll be out of state and I don't know if I'll have internet access. :/

September 23, 2008Made For Each Other Ch. 9
New chapter yay.
![]() Made For Each Other Chapter 9: “Hayley?” Zac said, squinting to see through the shelves at the local grocery store. Hayley froze. “Hayley! It is you!” Zac hurried around the corner and down the aisle where a small, worn out looking Hayley stood. She smiled and hugged him. “Hey Farro.” She said wearily. “You’re home early.” Zac pointed out. Hayley nodded and looked away. “Why?” He asked. “Missed my family.” She said, still not looking at Zac. He hesitated, not believing her but decided not to push her on the subject. “Well it was good to see you, I have to get going though.” Hayley smiled and headed for the checkout. “Oh guess what!” Zac said. “Hm?” Audra replied. She was laying on Zac’s bed, reading a magazine. “I nearly forgot! I saw Hayley at the grocery store today.” He smiled. “She’s already back?” Audra sat up. “I thought it be at least one more day.” “What do you mean?” Zac asked. “She didn’t tell you?” Audra looked confused. “Tell me what?” He asked. “She called me yesterday, she and Chad broke up. I thought she told you guys.” Audra frowned. “Seriously?” Zac said in disbelief. Audra nodded. “I guess it was mutual, she said they both felt like they were just friends or something.” Audra informed. “She didn’t look all that great in the market.” Zac bit his lip. “I mean, she wasn’t like crying or anything but she looked pretty worn down.” “Hmm.” Audra said. She pulled out her phone and dialed Hayley’s number. An hour later, Hayley was over and the three of them were playing Candy Land. “Oh my gosh! I haven’t played this in so long!” Hayley laughed. “I forgot how much fun it was.” Audra said. “Bathroom break! Be right back.” Hayley announced as she jogged out of the room. She knew the Farro house like the back of her hand. When she reached the bathroom, the door was shut and the sound of the shower running came from inside. Hayley sighed and headed for the downstairs bathroom. ~*~ “Nasty, put a shirt on.” Zac wrinkled his nose as Josh entered their room drying his hair with his towel. He was wearing only his pajama pants. “Hey Audra.” Josh said, ignoring Zac. “Zac, would you two mind going downstairs or something I want to go to bed.” “It’s my room too.” Zac argued. “Yeah but I wanna go to bed and I’m older so out.” Josh demanded. “Come on Zac lets go.” Audra pulled Zac up. “No, we were here first and we have a game set up.” Zac refused to leave. Josh rolled his eyes. “You two seriously need to get an apartment.” Hayley said as she re-entered the room. “Hayley?” Josh said confused. “Hey.” Hayley smiled. She bit her lip, damn Josh looked good with no shirt on. “What are you doing here?” He hugged her. Hayley almost died when the scent of his body wash reached her nose. She pulled away quickly and cleared her throat. “Came back early, missed my family.” She said quickly. Zac raised his eyebrows at Hayley but she shook her head at him. Zac shrugged. “I think its time for me to go.” Audra said with a yawn. It was nearly midnight. “Me too.” Hayley agreed, she needed to get out of topless Josh land. Audra said goodbye to Zac and dragged Hayley outside. “Oh my gosh! You like him!” Audra attacked as soon as they left the house. “What? No!” Hayley said quickly. “Liar!” Audra accused. “I don’t so drop it ok?” Hayley opened the door to her car and backed out of the driveway. Audra shrugged and got into her car. “Hayley and Chad broke up.” Zac informed once the girls had left. “What?” Josh asked. “That’s why she’s home early. She says they were better as friends than dating.” Zac said, changing into his pajamas. “Hmm.” Josh frowned before climbing into bed. Yay No more Chayley haha. Thanks again to everyone who commented on my last post, it made me feel better. :) I'll try to update within the next few days if I can.

Ok new chapter. Kinda short, sorry. More of a filler chapter really...
![]() “We get to go home in two days!” Zac sang. Everyone grinned and nodded in agreement. They all loved touring but they missed their families and friends. “Come on, time for sound check.” Their manager announced. “Hey Zac.” Hayley stopped the drummer before he exited the bus. “Yo.” He replied. “Haven’t you been wondering why none of us actually got you a birthday gift?” She smiled. “I wasn’t gonna say anything.” Zac replied. “You guys don’t need to get me anything.” “Well we did, it’s on its way.” She smiled. Zac cocked his head to the side. “Come on, we don’t wanna be late.” Jeremy smiled as he ushered a curious Zac off the bus. As the band began to play Stop This Song, the last song they were going to play in sound check, Hayley began to worry about Zac’s ‘present’. It was supposed to be here by now. “No you wont get to me, cuz I wont sing!” Hayley finished her part for the song and danced along as the guys finished the ending. Suddenly Zac stopped playing his drums and flew past Hayley in a blur. He jumped off the stage and ran to the middle of the venue before tackling someone in a hug. Hayley grinned and laughed along with everyone else in the room. “What are you doing here!?” Zac backed away from Audra. “Happy Birthday!” Everyone shouted. Audra spun around in a little circle. “You guys?” He looked around. “Everyone pitched in to get her a plane ticket over here.” Josh explained. “Even Isabelle.” He added, referring to their little sister. “Oh my gosh!” Zac pulled Audra into another tight hug excitedly. “I missed you so much.” She said into his chest. “I missed you more.” He replied. “Kiss her already!” Josh complained. Zac didn’t need to be told twice. He bent down and kissed her hard on the mouth. “Eww!” Taylor joked. Zac gave him the finger while still kissing Audra. “This is where I leave you.” Hayley said as they got off their plane in Chicago. She had made plans to visit Chad for a while before heading home. “See you in two weeks.” Jeremy hugged her. She hugged everyone else before stopping at Josh. “I don’t get a goodbye hug?” She asked, slightly hurt as he turned to leave the terminal. Josh sighed before turning around. “Of course you do.” He forced a smile and hugged her quickly. He had started having a hard time keeping ‘I like Hayley’ thoughts out of his head recently and the fact that she was leaving to go see her boyfriend made him remember that yes, Hayley did have a boyfriend, and no, she would never like him like that. “See you soon.” She kissed him on the cheek. Both of them blushed slightly and Josh raised an eyebrow. “Uh, bye.” She took off for her connecting terminal to California. “Sorry dude.” Jeremy patted Josh on the back. “For what.” Josh pulled himself together. “You know what. I see it in your eyes.” Jeremy said. “You like her.” “No.” Josh laughed. Zac, Taylor, Jeremy and Audra all glared at him. “And even if I did, it would be bad for the band.” Josh muttered. Jeremy laughed. “Dude, first of all, if you two got together, I’m pretty confidant you’d end up married. And second, as much as I hate to say it, Paramore wont last forever.” Jeremy admitted. Everyone looked at the ground at the last comment. “Hey! I'm not saying it will end for us anytime soon.” Jeremy said. “But there’s no way we’ll be doing this in our 30s and 40s. I mean come on, we’re all gonna get married and have kids someday.” “We should do a reunion tour when were 80.” Zac laughed. “Just imagine a 80 year old Hayley dancing around on stage.” Everyone burst out laughing. “Once a whore you’re nothing more!” Taylor sang and huddled over, imitating an elderly person. Everyone laughed harder, attracting attention from surrounding passers by. Ok, get ready for some serious Joshayleyness now. :) The next chapters will get longer...I think... haha

Made For Each Other Ch. 7
-Edited on 1/23/09-
I'm deleting chapter 7. It was just weird. And it really didn't offer anything to the story. And it was just weird. haha. If you hadn't read this chapter before now, I promise you aren't missing anything, it was just a random, awkward Joshayley moment. Don't know why I posted it in the first place.

Woop, I managed 2 in one day! haha. Enjoy!
![]() Made For Each Other Chapter 6: “Happy birthday Zac!” Jeremy said, pulling out a few bottles of beer from behind his back. “Dude! I’m not 21!” Zac’s eyes went wide. He looked around to make sure no one saw the alcohol. Jeremy laughed. “We’re in Europe, drinking age is 18.” Jeremy reminded. “What the crap are you doing?!” Josh asked in shock as he entered the bus. Jeremy quickly explained. “No alcohol.” Josh said simply. “Oh come on, we’re on the bus so there’s no way the media will catch wind of it, we’re of age, we aren’t doing anything wrong.” Jeremy opened a bottle for himself. “Whatever, none for me thanks.” Josh said and walked to the back of the bus. “Beer Hayley?” Jeremy offered when she stepped on the bus. “Nasty.” She wrinkled her nose. She’d been curious as to what it tasted like a year or so ago and her father had allowed her to have one small sip. She immediately decided she didn’t like it. “Right, we got vodka too.” Jeremy laughed. “We?” Zac asked. Jeremy nodded but did not reveal who ‘we’ was. “Here, try a sip of mine, you don’t have to have one of your own if you don’t want.” Jeremy handed over his bottle. Zac took a sip and nearly gagged. “It takes some getting used to.” Jeremy laughed. “Guess I better get used to it.” Zac laughed and grabbed a bottle. “Alright! Here we go!” someone called from the front of the bus as it began to move. In the end, everyone on the bus, including Josh, had one shot of vodka and a few people had grabbed a bottle of beer. Everyone (except the driver for obvious reasons) was starting to feel a bit buzzed but by no means wasted. “We’re out.” Taylor announced as he downed the last of his bottle. “As soon as Josh drinks his last shot anyway.” “Sweet.” Hayley said with a yawn. She watched Josh down his second vodka shot and screw his face up in disgust. Hayley made her way to the back lounge to sit down. It was too noisy in the front lounge and she was tired. A few moments later Jeremy joined her. “Hey.” He said sitting next to her. “Yo.” Hayley giggled. “Just want to give you a heads up, Josh is going around huggin everyone and kissing a few people on the cheek.” Jeremy laughed. “Seriously?” Hayley said in disbelief. The one who was dead set against drinking ended up being the one who drank the most, or at least the one who was the most drunk. “Hayley!” Josh said excitedly as he entered the room. “I found you!” “Here we go.” She laughed to Jeremy. She turned to Josh. “Yep you did.” “We’re friends.” Josh said. “Yes we are.” Hayley laughed. “Ok, I want to make that clear.” Josh said. Hayley nodded. “Just friends.” Josh said. “Just friends.” She repeated. “Ok.” Josh nodded his head. “So this is just friendly.” He informed. “Alright.” Hayley waited for her kiss on the cheek, but it didn’t come. Instead he moved in and kissed her lightly on the lips. “Whoa!” Hayley pulled back laughing. “Wasn’t expecting that.” Jeremy fell on the floor laughing. “Just friends! Just friends!” Josh jumped up and clarified, swinging his arms wildly. “It’s ok dude. I know.” Hayley laughed and hugged him. “Ok.” Josh said before leaving the lounge. Everyone slept in until they reached the next venue. As soon as they got off the bus, Jeremy jogged to catch up with Josh. “So, you kissed Hayley.” Jeremy said, grinning. “Shut up! I wasn’t thinking.” Josh groaned. He remembered everything all too clearly. “It’s ok dude, you made it very clear it was a ‘just friends’ thing.” Hayley said as she caught up with the guys. Josh’s face went bright red. “Hey! Don’t worry about it, seriously!” She smiled. Josh nodded. “Sorry.” He muttered lamely. The three entered their dressing area and were greeted by Taylor’s laughter. Hayley looked around to see what was so funny and burst out laughing when she saw Zac dry humping a pole in the middle of the room. “Oh lord.” Josh sighed, but he soon joined in on the laughter. He admired the fact that his brother could always make people laugh. Yeah, I definitely thought this chapter was gonna be longer... oh well. I'll try to update again Thursday. :)

Made For Each Other Ch. 5Yay new chapter. Thanks for the comments guys! Sorry this one is so short. The next one will be longer (I think). ![]() Made For Each Other Chapter 5: “Europe here we come!” Jeremy yawned. Taylor grunted in response. It was five in the morning and the members of Paramore were at the airport, ready to start their tour. “Where’s Amy?” Hayley asked. “I thought she’d want to say goodbye to Josh.” “Off-again.” Zac informed. “Wow that must be the tenth time you two have split.” Taylor said. “And the last.” Josh and Hayley said together. Josh said that line after every Amy brake-up. “Your flight is boarding.” Hayley’s mother pointed to the display at the terminal. “I’ll miss you.” Hayley said, beginning her goodbyes. “Ready guys?” Josh asked once everyone had said goodbye. The others nodded and gathered up their carry-ons. “Zac wait up a sec.” Zac turned and smiled. “Miss me already?” he said. Audra rolled her eyes. After talking to Hayley, she realized she was being stupid about the break-up. Thankfully, Zac had been forgiving. And now she was beginning to feel like her old self again. “Not a bit!” She stuck out her tongue. Zac gasped in fake hurt. “What do you want then?” He demanded. Audra pulled him to the side. “This is for your birthday since I wont see you…” Audra handed over a small package. “You didn’t have to.” Zac began. “Just open it, you have to get on the plane.” Audra insisted. Zac opened the box and pulled out a thick silver ring. “It’s a purity ring.” Audra explained. Zac kissed her lightly on the lips earning a wolf-whistle from his younger brother. Zac almost flipped him off but remembered his parents were there. “Thank you.” Zac said truthfully. He slipped the ring on his finger. “I’m gonna miss you.” Audra said, eyes welling up. “Hey! You’re not allowed to cry!” Zac complained. Audra laughed and wiped her eyes. “I’m gonna miss you more!” Zac smiled and hugged her. “I love you.” He whispered in her ear. He pulled back and smiled, Audra’s eyes had gone huge. He leaned in and kissed her one last time before turning to board the plane. Audra stood in disbelief as she watched Zac leave. He loved her? “What happened?” Hayley eyed Zac suspiciously when he took his seat on the plane. He had a goofy grin on his face that he couldn’t seem to get rid of. “I told her I love her.” Zac’s grin got broader if it was possible. Hayley let out a squeal and hugged him. “What did she do?” Hayley asked. “I think she was in shock.” Zac replied. “I hope it wasn’t too soon…” he began doubting his decision. “If that’s how you feel, its not too soon.” Hayley said seriously. Zac’s phone buzzed in his pocket. “Oops.” Zac pulled the phone out and went to switch it off before realizing it was Audra calling. “Hello?” He answered the phone. “I love you too!” Audra said quickly. Zac grinned. “Sir, no phones on the plane.” A stewardess warned politely. Zac nodded in understanding. “Just thought you should know.” Audra said quietly in to the phone. “That makes me so happy.” Zac smiled. “I was beginning to think it was too early to say it and I scared you or something.” The stewardess glared at Zac. “You’re going to have to turn that off now.” She said harshly. “Sir.” She added. “Dang it, the stewardess is yellin at me, I gotta go.” Zac sighed. “Love you, miss you.” Audra said. “Love you too. Can’t wait to see you again.” Zac smiled and ended the call. “Happy now?” Zac waived the now turned off phone in the stewardess’s face. She huffed in reply and hurried away. Meanwhile…. “Josh! They’re in love!” Hayley giggled as she sat down next to Josh. “Who did what now?” Josh said, pulling his headphones out of his ears. “Zac and Audra. He said he loved her before he boarded the plane and she just called him to say it back!” Hayley whispered excitedly. “Oh, great.” Josh said before replacing the headphones. Hayley rolled her eyes, boys didn’t understand. A few hours into the flight, Hayley fell asleep, resting her head on Josh’s shoulder lightly. He smiled and gently placed his arm around her before falling asleep as well. “Jeremy!” Taylor whispered urgently, pointing at the two sleeping across the aisle from him. “Yeah!” Jeremy grinned. He took out his camera and quickly snapped a photo. “Blackmail!” He grinned, shoving his camera back into his carry-on. That breakup was short-lived... hahaha. I'll try to update once more today, if I don't I'll definitely have something up by the end of the week.

September 14, 2008Made For Each Other ch. 4
Chapter 4! yay. I'll update again Tuesday (hopefully). Things should start picking up next chapter.
Enjoy. Made For Each Other Chapter 4: ![]() ~Two weeks later~ After their second to last practice before heading out for a European tour, Hayley returned to her apartment to find a party in full swing. She soon discovered it was a going-away-we’ll-miss-you-guys party and immediately called the guys and had them come over. By three in the morning, most people had left, wishing the band members well. Hayley looked around the room and smiled as she saw Jeremy fast asleep on one couch, Sarah nestled comfortably beside him. Taylor was asleep on the other couch while Josh and Zac were sitting on the floor next to each other looking dangerously close to falling over asleep. Audra was on the phone with her grandmother, apparently her grandmother had no idea what time it was and had decided to call her. “I love you too Gram.” Audra yawned into the phone. “I’ll see you soon!” She smiled and snapped the phone shut. “Be right back.” Hayley yawned. She went into her bedroom and pulled all the blankets and pillows off her bed. “Need help?” Josh entered the room. Hayley nodded and rested her head on Josh’s shoulder. “I’m so tired!” She yawned again. Josh bent down to pick up blankets and carried them in to the main room. They laid the blankets out on the floor, making it as comfortable as possible, and everyone grabbed a pillow. Hayley and Audra laid down next to each other while Zac and Josh settled down opposite the girls. “You can sleep in your bed you know.” Josh yawned. Hayley shook her head. “I’m already here.” She said into the pillow before falling asleep instantly. Hayley woke the next morning to the sound of a phone ringing. Audra jumped up from beside Hayley and ran to the kitchen. “Wazzat?” Zac muttered. “Phone.” Hayley muttered. Josh didn’t wake but subconsciously grabbed hold of Hayley’s hand. Hayley smiled and laid her head back onto her pillow. A few moments later the sound of shattering glass filled the room. Hayley’s head shot up. “What the…” Zac looked up, still half asleep, Hayley’s eyes widened in realization. “Her grandmother!” Suddenly the late night phone call from Audra’s grandmother made sense. Hayley hurried to the kitchen, Zac, once he realized what Hayley was talking about, was close behind. “No.” Audra whispered, unable to believe what her mother had just told her. “No!” She wailed. Zac grabbed hold of Audra as she collapsed and he gently lowered her to the floor so they were both sitting. Hayley took a look around the room, Audra’s phone was on the floor by the oven and there was a shattered glass of milk pooling up by the refrigerator. She knelt down and hugged Audra, who was still in Zac’s arms sobbing. “Sh-she’s gone!” Audra wailed. “I’m so sorry.” Hayley soothed. Zac just held on to Audra tightly. Hayley let go and turned around when she heard a noise come from behind her. “Thanks Josh.” She whispered. Josh had started cleaning up the spilled milk and broken glass. Hayley reached for Audra’s phone and held it to her ear. “Hello?” She said into the receiver. “Hayley?” A shaky voice replied. “We’ll bring her home.” Hayley assured Audra’s mother before hanging up. She looked back at Audra and Zac. Audra was shaking violently from sobbing and Zac had a tear rolling down his cheek. Hayley felt tears sting at her own eyes. “I take it her grandmother passed away…” Josh said quietly. Hayley nodded. Josh knelt down and awkwardly patted Audra on the back. Hayley rejoined the group hug and rested her head on Audra’s shoulder. “Just think, she’s in a better place now, watching over you.” Zac whispered. Audra sniffed at this and pulled back a bit before nodding in agreement. The funeral was a few days later, Zac attended, against the will of Audra, although she was glad he came. After the funeral, Zac had come straight to practice. “This sucks.” Zac sighed. “Are you sure you don’t want to postpone the tour so you can be here for her?” Josh asked. “She’s flip her lid if I did.” Zac stood and began pacing around the room. “Let’s bring her with us.” Taylor suggested. Zac shook his head. “I’m serious!” Taylor said. “She could use some fun.” “I think she wants to be with her family right now.” Zac reminded. “So she can join us halfway through.” Hayley sat on the edge of the small stage. “I’d love to have another girl on tour with us.” “We’ll see.” Zac sighed. “Are we done here?” “Yeah.” Josh said. “See ya.” Zac immediately headed for his car. “See you later.” Jeremy said as he packed up his bass. “Yep.” Josh said as he ran his hands through his hair. “See ya T.” Josh waived to Taylor as he and Jeremy headed out the door. Josh turned and began packing up his guitar while Hayley began putting various cords away. “You ok?” Josh asked, turning his head to the side slightly. Hayley had barely spoken through practice. “I miss my granny.” Hayley admitted. She immediately felt tears sting at her eyes. “Oh Spongebob!” Josh hugged her. She laughed at the nickname and pressed her head against his chest as he rubbed her back soothingly. “She’s in a better place.” Josh whispered. “I know, but I still miss her.” Hayley sighed as she pulled away from Josh and wiped away the few tears that had spilled from her eyes. “Do you think Zac’s gonna be ok?” Hayley asked. She hated seeing him so down. It was so unnatural. “He’s taken this pretty hard and I don’t think he ever met Audra’s grandmother.” “I think he’s concerned about Audra. Whenever he calls her she makes up excuses to get off the phone and I don’t think he’s actually seen her all week.” Josh replied, sitting cross-legged on Zac’s drum riser. Hayley frowned. “It takes time…” She sighed. ---------- “Hey Zac.” Hayley said into her phone. “She broke up with me.” Zac replied. “What?” Hayley asked, confused. “Audra broke up with me.” Zac repeated miserably. Hayley nearly choked on her chai drink. “She WHAT?” Hayley gasped. Zac did not reply. “Why?” She demanded. “Dunno.” He replied. “I have to go, is there a reason you called?” “Um not really. Just wanted to talk.” Hayley bit her lip. She had planned on asking him if he and Audra wanted to come over that night for a movie. “Alright bye.” He hung up without waiting for a response. Hayley quickly dialed Audra’s number, she had to have a serious heart-to-heart with that girl. I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter. Tour starts next chapter though and I have some good ideas for that. :) I don't think I will be able to update again until Tuesday.

Made For Each Other Ch. 3
This chapter and the next one are pretty much just filler chapters. Kinda boring. Sorry.
Joshayley will return in a few chapters. ;) This one is kinda focused on Zac. ![]() Made For Each Other Chapter 3: A week later, Hayley was out shopping with Audra. Hows Zac? Hayley grinned. Audra smiled and shrugged. Whats up? Hayley asked. I dunnoIts been really awkward since the party. Audra sighed. We havent kissed since that night, and whenever we are together he barely says a word. Hes just nervous. Hayley advised, putting a hand on Audras shoulder. You guys just have to figure out how to go from being friends to looooverrrrrs. She sang and did a little dance, making Audra laugh. Were still hanging out tonight right? Audra asked. Heck yeah! Hayley smiled. Oh! Try this on! She shoved some skinny jeans into Audras arms. You would look so good in these! Audra laughed and headed for the changing room. That night, Audra, Zac and Chad all piled on to the couch and watched a movie. Halfway through the movie, Audras cell phone rang. Sorry guys! Audra looked at the caller ID. Ugh, mom. She sighed before jumping up and heading to the kitchen to answer the call. Zac looked after her and when she didnt return after a few moments, he excused himself and went to find out what was up. Zac found her sitting on a bar stool at the counter in Hayleys kitchen looking determinedly at the counter top. Hey. He sat on a stool next to her. Whats up? Audra snapped out of her daze. You scared me! She gasped. Sorry. Zac smiled. You ok? My mom called. Audra replied. Zac waited patiently for Audra to continue. My grandmother is in the hospital. Oh. Zac frowned. He quickly pulled her into a hug. What happened? Something about heart failure. They say shell be ok though. Audra sighed. Zac still hugged her tightly. She smiled as she began to feel relaxed, Zac always did that to her. Mmm you smell good. She smiled into Zacs shoulder. Zac pulled back and blushed. Uh thanks. He muttered. Audra laughed. Ready to go back in? He asked. Sure. Audra stood up and allowed herself to be guided back in to the living room. Zac kept glancing over at Audra throughout the movie. He knew she was only pretending to be ok but he wasnt sure how to comfort her. After glancing over for the upteenth time, Audra glared at him. Im fine! She mouthed. Zac bit his lip and faced the television screen again. He couldnt help glancing over again five minutes later. His heart stopped as he saw her tear-filled eyes. She focused hard on the screen but it didnt stop a tear from rolling down her cheek. Zac jumped up, grabbed Audras hand and guided her to Hayleys bedroom, shutting the door behind them. Im sorry. Audra said, tears spilling out now. Shh. Zac hugged her. Its ok. He ran his hand along her hair and rubbed her back in what he hoped was a comforting gesture. You guys ok? Hayley quietly opened the door to the bedroom. Oh! Whats wrong? Audra pulled away from Zac. M-my grandmother. She stuttered. She took a deep breath. My grandmothers in the hospital. Oh honey! Hayley rushed to her side. Why didnt you say anything! She hugged her tightly. Its ok, Im ok. Audra sighed and wiped her eyes. Zac ran to the bathroom to grab a tissue for her. The doctors say shell be fine I dont know why Im so upset. You have every right to be, its scary. Hayley rubbed Audras arm gently. But everything will be ok. Audra nodded. Zac was relieved, Hayley knew just what to say, he still needed to learn how to comfort a crying girl. Im gonna clean up. Audra sighed. Ill be out in a minute. Hayley nodded and gave her one last hug before leaving the room. Hey, wait. Zac said as Audra made her way to the attached bathroom. He walked over and hugged her again. Everything will be fine. He whispered into her ear. She smiled and hugged Zac back tightly. Im sorry. She said. You have absolutely nothing to be sorry about. Zac said, pressing his forehead against hers. He didnt know what came over him, but suddenly he felt his lips move toward hers before meeting in a sweet kiss. Audra smiled. Thank you Zac. She whispered. Zac smiled and kissed her again, he didnt think he would ever get tired of kissing her. I dunno why youre thanking me, but youre welcome. He smiled. I meant thanks for comforting me, you idiot. Audra laughed. Zac smiled. Ah well He shrugged. Everything? Audra raised an eyebrow. Every time! Zac grinned. Audra laughed, kissed him on the cheek and headed to the bathroom to wash her face. I dont know if I like this chapter. Same with the next one. but the one after that gets better, I promise. Haha. Ill try to update at least once more today. I promise Joshayley will make a return soon! ;)

September 13, 2008Made For Each Other Ch. 2
Ok here's chapter 2. It's quite a bit longer. haha.
Enjoy! ![]() "So..."Hayley said. Zac, Josh, Taylor and Audra were already at her apartment setting up for the party. "What?" Zac eyed her suspiciously. "Audra likes you." Hayley smiled. "What?" Zac repeated. Hayley just raised an eyebrow. "Whatever." Zac said and wondered in to her living room. "She finally admitted it?" Josh said with a smile. "Not in so many words..." Hayley's voice trailed off. Josh shook his head. "Well it's true so it doesn’t matter." He said. “I talked to Audra on the phone earlier and told her Zac liked her.” Hayley said. Josh looked at her for a few seconds before responding. “You’d better hope this doesn’t blow up in your face.” He warned. “It won’t.” Hayley said confidently. -------------------- “When is everyone else showing up?” Audra asked Zac. They were standing near a wall in the living room listening to the music that blasted through the apartment. “Dunno.” Zac replied. What Hayley had said earlier had been bugging him all night. Had Audra really admitted to Hayley that she liked him? Now that he paid attention, she did seem to be flirting with him a bit. “Zac?” Audra’s voice interrupted his thoughts. “Hm?” He asked. “I asked how long it was going to be before you left me again.” Audra laughed. “I’d never leave you.” Zac smiled. Audra blushed a bit. “I mean for your next tour.” She explained. “Oh.” Zac blushed furiously. “Uh right umm end of next month.” Audra smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. “I’m tired.” She yawned. “The night hasn’t even begun yet girly.” Zac laughed. He turned to look at her and caught a whiff of her shampoo. His eyes shut and he smiled as the smell invaded his senses, she smelled good. Audra removed her head from his shoulder and looked at him. “What?” She said suspiciously. Zac froze. He wanted nothing more than to kiss her. He felt his head move closer to hers, until their lips were inches apart. His head screamed no while his body screamed yes. “Screw it.” He muttered and closed the gap between their lips. “FINALLY!” Hayley whispered loudly to Josh as they watched from the opposite side of the room. “Yeah Zac!” Taylor said quietly. No one wanted to interrupt. “Wow…” Audra bit her lip as Zac drew back. “Sorry… I – I don’t know what I was thinking… I though-” Zac stuttered. Audra cut him off with a kiss. Zac smiled into the kiss and gently prodded her lower lip with his tongue. She immediately opened her mouth, allowing his tongue to enter. “Zac and Audra sittin in a tree!” Josh said loudly as he walked by the two. Zac wanted to punch him as Audra drew back quickly, blushing like mad. “JOSHUA NEIL FARRO GET YOUR ASS BACK OVER HERE!” Hayley roared. Audra laughed. “What?” Josh complained. “Leave them alone!” Hayley ordered. “Pfft!” Josh huffed and made his way to the bathroom. “Sorry about my idiot brother.” Zac said. “No worries.” Audra replied. Zac leaned in and kissed her again. “I could get used to this.” He smiled. “Mmm.” Audra agreed. She gently put her hand on the back of his neck and pulled him into yet another amazing kiss. “Get a room! Gosh!” Josh joked as he walked by again. “Fuck off.” Zac replied. “Josh!” Hayley yelled at him again. “Alright, alright.” Josh left Zac and Audra who were now headed for the chairs in the corner of the room. “Anybody home?” Jeremy’s voice called from the doorway. "Sarah!" Hayley ran to the door as Sarah and Jeremy entered. "Hayley!" Sarah ran and pulled Hayley in to a hug. They immediately began chatting away. “Girls.” Josh muttered. Jeremy chuckled at this before turning to Hayley. “So now that we’re here, the party can really start!” Jeremy grinned. Josh raised an eyebrow, “Zac’s already having fun.” Jeremy looked confused before looking around the room to find him. He finally spotted Zac sitting in a corner talking with Audra. “They finally kissed.” Josh informed. Sarah squealed in delight. Jeremy laughed. “And Josh here keeps tryin-ta interrupt ‘em!” Hayley gently hit Josh’s chest. Josh rubbed his chest exaggeratedly, pretending it hurt. “It’s what brothers do.” Josh turned to Jeremy and Sarah and shrugged. “I swear, if you go over there again I’ll…” Hayley thought hard. “Well I don’t know what I’ll do but it’ll hurt.” “She’ll castrate you dude.” Jeremy helped out. “Yeah!” Hayley giggled. “You wouldn’t dare.” Josh brushed it off. “Oh, you underestimate me Farro! I would!” Hayley said, standing to her full height and putting her hands on her hips to look more intimidating. Josh raised an eyebrow. “Whatever shortay!” Josh laughed, taking a few steps back to avoid being punched by Hayley. “Now you’ve done it!” Sarah said. Jeremy gently held Hayley back as she tried to get to Josh and punish him for his comment. “Lemme go Jerm!” Hayley complained. Jeremy was in fits of laughter now. “Josh!” Hayley cried as Josh headed in the direction of Zac and Audra. She took off after him. “Leave ‘em alone!” She grunted. Josh stopped suddenly and turned to face Hayley. “No!” She wailed as he began tickling her. She wriggled out of his reach and ran away, Josh not far behind. As Hayley ran by Taylor, he stuck his foot out. Hayley tripped on it and went flying into the air before landing softly on a couch. Seconds later Josh landed on top of her, trying not to crush the tiny girl beneath him. “Oh shit! I didn’t think you’d actually fall!” Taylor laughed. Josh lifted himself up and held out a hand to help Hayley. “You dudes ok?” Jeremy asked as he sat down on the couch. “Yep.” Hayley sighed, sitting next to Sarah. Josh inspected his hand; he had landed awkwardly on it in the process of trying not to hurt Hayley during his fall. After determining it was ok, he nodded. “All good!” He smiled. “Yo Zac!” Jeremy called to the corner of the room. Zac looked over. “You got a girlfriend yet?” Jeremy asked. “Jeremy Davis!” Sarah scolded. Zac looked at Audra who smiled back at him. “Yeah!” Zac grinned. He held out his hand for Audra to take and led her over to the others. “Awww!” Taylor cooed jokingly as they reached the group. “Shut up dude.” Zac smiled, he couldn’t seem to stop smiling. “Honey I’m home!” A voice sang. “Chad!” Hayley grinned and bounded to the door, smothering him in a hug. “Missed ya babe.” He kissed the top of her head. “Missed you too.” Hayley whispered. Josh grunted at the display. It wasn’t that he didn’t like Chad; he thought Chad was a great guy. He always made everyone laugh and knew how to make sure everyone was having fun and he always stuck up for Hayley and treated her well. But it just seemed like an odd match to Josh. They seemed like they were more friends than boyfriend and girlfriend. Secretly, Josh had developed a bit of a crush on Hayley, but he chose to ignore that fact. He and Hayley would never work out, like she always said, relationships within a band never work. Plus, he really only felt like he liked her when they were on tour and their were not really any other girls around besides fans who he didn’t know very well. Or at least that’s what he made himself believe. “Hey! How was your flight?” Jeremy stood to greet Chad. “Pretty uneventful.” Chad replied. “Well that’s good.” Zac laughed. “No problems.” “Hey Josh, sup?” Chad made his way to Josh. “Good to see you dude.” Josh smiled, clasped Chad’s hand and thumped him on the back a few times. “Zac DJ time.” Taylor grabbed Zac and dragged him to the stereo. Soon everyone was having a good time. Halfway through the party, Josh’s on-again off-again girlfriend Amy showed up. No one really liked her, besides Josh, and even he didn’t like her all the time. She seemed nice enough but she was very materialistic and it seemed she only liked Josh because he was in a band. Currently, the two were making out in one corner of the room. Hayley sighed at this before turning away so she wouldn’t have to watch.

Made For Each Other Ch. 1
Ok, so this is my first Joshaylay. It sorta focuses on Zac in the beginning, but it is a Joshayley, so yeah.
I have a lot of it written at this point, it would take AGES to update if I didn't have some of it written ahead of time. Haha stupid classes... I have a feeling it will be pretty long. Hopefully I can update pretty regularly. Also, just a reminder, this is all made up. None of it really happened. (as far as I know... haha) Enjoy! and please tell me what you think. :) ![]() Made For Each Other Chapter 1 As soon as band practice was over, Hayley plugged her iPod into the stereo system and pressed play. Jack’s Mannequin blasted through the small warehouse as everyone began putting equipment away. Hayley danced around the room, singing along and trying to get her band members to dance along with her. Taylor quickly joined in and Hayley made her way to Josh as the chorus played. She grabbed his hands, trying to get him to dance, while belting out the chorus. “Oh maybe, we were made, we were made for each other.” She sang. Josh rolled his eyes and let her pull him around the room in a little dance. Everyone else in the room stifled a laugh. It was obvious to everyone that the two did indeed seem to be made for each other. Hayley and Josh were, of course, too stubborn to notice that fact. As quickly as the music had started, it stopped. "Ok so summer schedule." Paramore’s manager announced. Everyone gathered around. "We'll begin the European tour at the end of May, come back mid-june, have a few weeks off before heading on Warped. Then we'll have some time off for you guys to write and do whatever and finally we'll start planning a tentative three week US tour." He rattled off quickly. "Everyone get that?" "Yep yep!" Hayley jumped up. Everyone was anxious to leave. "Nope nope." Josh whispered, making Hayley laugh. "Alright get yer butts outta here!" "What are you guys doing for the rest of the day?" Hayley asked. "Nuthin." Taylor replied. "Sarah probably has plans for me but I don't know what they are." Jeremy said as he reached his car. "I'm hanging with Audra and a few other people I think." Zac said. "When are you two gonna get together?" Jeremy moaned. Zac shot a glare his way. "We're just friends." He said. Josh laughed, earning a death glare from Zac. "We should have a party tonight." Hayley smiled. "I dunno...I kind of wanted to get to bed early." Josh said. "Whatever, I'm going." Zac smiled. "Hey Aud!" Audra and Zac had been friends since they were kids. Whether they wanted to admit it or not, they flirted like mad and obviously liked each other. Hayley had taken it upon herself to get the two together this summer. "Audra you are coming to my place tonight for a party." Hayley said matter-of-factly. "Ok then." Audra laughed. "And so is Josh." Hayley said, making a pouty face at Josh. "Fine, I guess I'm coming." Josh sighed in defeat. "Sweet deal! See you dudes tonight." Hayley walked toward her car, dancing along the way. That was a short one. hah I'll try to update more tonight.
